Good walking 15 mins. distance to free ferry across to central station. Convenient food market very close by where hot food can be purchased ie pizza, hamburger, street food We had a room with a view which was spectacular. Watching the ships and boats on the harbour.

Unclear instructions re housekeeping. You now need to book a service when you have breakfast. The housekeeping card to hang on the door was no longer relevant so they should not be in the room. No refrigerator in any room is very inconvenient for travellers and unexpected.

The hotel was really clean and nice

Maybe a little far if you are walking to the metro with lugagge but that's something we knew when we made the reservation

Location is easy and lovely, there are 2 ways of going to city centre and ferry option is free and nicer. There is a supermarket near hotel and it is quite cheap and good quality. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Hotel and room is very clean and beds are very comfortable. Bathroom design is easy to use. Breakfast is excellent, very satisfied and delicious. In conclusion it is a perfect choice, I would love to stay again in this hotel.

In my room, I couldn't find a direct way to reach the reception, so I wasn't able to call them. This information should be clearly provided. Additionally, I have an issue with the provision of disposable slippers. They are not provided in the room, and you have to ask for them at the reception. However, on my second request, I was asked unnecessary and odd questions about my previous ones. This is not a good way to provide better value to customers over a disposable slipper.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was spacious and beautifully furnished, with a stunning city view that we enjoyed every day. The large bathroom was a great plus, adding to the overall comfort. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel truly welcome. One big convenience was the huge supermarket just across the street, and the hotel is also within walking distance to both a subway station and a ferry terminal, making it easy to explore the city. The overall experience was excellent — we would definitely recommend this hotel to others. Great value for money!

While the breakfast was tasty, we felt that a bit more variety would have been nice, especially since we stayed for an extended period.

The room was very spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful too! They helped us find a taxi to the airport fast after the uber cancelled on us twice. Great location, we had to take a ferry every day to get to the other side, but they're very frequent and were fun to ride. Overall, a great experience and would recommend it! The breakfast was tasty too.

The bed was a bit too soft for a comfortable sleep. Also, the hotel is located right next to the night club, so during weekends it was challenging to fall asleep cause of all the vibrations coming from the music.

Excellent hotel in terms of price-quality ratio. We were given a free room upgrade, which was nice, a beautiful view from the window. We liked the breakfast - quite a lot of options, so you can make a hearty and healthy combination for yourself. Excellent staff at the reception, bar and restaurant - they were always friendly and helpful. Free welcome drinks were a pleasure. Quite comfortable beds. The room was quiet, we were not bothered by any noise. The ventilation worked well. You had to order room cleaning, they always cleaned well. Overall, a great option for accommodation in Amsterdam.

There was almost no storage space in the room (except for a few hangers in a mini-wardrobe). The sink drain was often clogged, water poured out of the shower onto the floor because the partition was very small. The furniture and carpets in the hotel were quite "tired", there were huge brown stains on the floor in our room. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from the metro station to the hotel - not much, but worth considering if you plan to walk around the city a lot.

The room was decent sized and the bed was great. Best hotel of the 3 we stayed at between UK & ND. The breakfast was good. The location was also good. A short 8-10min walk from the Metro line, from there you could be in the city center in minutes. On foot from hotel to city center was 20 min all things included. The view was very cool - you are on the other side of the water from the main city center but one of the few "sky scrapers" as it was across the water on solid ground. Price was good. Hotel staff was very helpful. Grocery store across the street with great food options. Several laundromats within walking distance. I liked how you had to walk through a local village to get from the train station to the hotel - you get to see the "regular" Dutch people and their neighborhood. Everyone spoke English. We will without a doubt be staying here again when we return.

The room was kind of hot. The walk from the train to the hotel was only a minor inconvenience. Really zero complaints at all. Americans like our air conditioning and we felt like we were burning up constantly. Next time we might buy a cheap room fan to use while we are there.

The hotel is nice and we had a pleasant stay. - the breakfast has a good variety of food - there are parking options on the street (sadly the hotel parking was full, but we parked on the street which cost about 10€ for us from about 17:00 until 12:00 the next day, use the EasyPark app to record) - I liked the location because it was more relaxed and there are boats that take you to the other side of the city, but it is a little walk to get there - beautiful view from the hotel - we didn’t hear anyone in our room which was important as we stayed with dogs

Sadly the fee for dog was one of the highest I have encountered - 25€ per dog per night

it was clean and we had a large room. had a tv which could stream off your phone! could leave your baggage in luggage room and check out is a late time!

it’s on the other side of the main river to the city centre so it was a bit of a walk through a neighbourhood to the closest train station (couldn’t find a way to walk across a bridge so public transport is needed). the breakfast wasn’t great and was told it was open till 11am but unfortunately is only on till 10 on a weekday so only had 3 minutes to grab what we wanted before being kicked out of the food area! there is a mini shop for drinks, snacks and essentials in the reception area which is great but unfortunately very expensive (amsterdam is very expensive anyway though)

Holiday Inn Express Amsterdam - North Riverside is located on the banks of Ijplein looking over at Central train station. Location have good connection for pedestrians, some 10 minute walk gets you to free ferry boat service to Central train station. On other hand hotel is located near ring road which leads to airport in some 30 minute drive and its easy accessible for cars which is not the case always in old part of town. Near hotel you can find great supermarket with restaurant inside. Hotel is modern, staff is professional and helpful. Room had nice working desk and really comfortable chair for doing some remote work. Internet connection was good also. I would consider coming here again for sure.

I had one issue with bathroom, there wasnt really hot water in shower, while there was one at nearby bathroom sink. Water was warm, but not really hot which is needed in winter time after being out, walking the city, and coming in for a hot shower. As someone else pointed out, there is a techno-dance venue next door, and there are parties on Fridays and Saturdays, I did hear it, but I was at 8th floor so it didnt matter much to me, but I guess if you have room more closer to ground, and looking at that venue, at north-east corner, you probably wont get any sleep. So try to avoid that corner of hotel, and try to get higher floors (if you staying Fri/Sat).
