The apartment was very clean, in a very nice, quiet neighborhood. Right beside a park and tennis courts. Beds were comfortable and good space for a family of four to relax at the end of each day. They also allowed us to store our luggage early at the apartment before it was ready to check in.

No freezer compartment in the fridge. (No ice). No microwave, no stove or oven (when we booked it was listed, they did explain, new restrictions are in place and had to make it now inoperable). Also it says there is a 24 hour front desk which is not accurate. We asked for ice at 10pm and was told it was too late (and that response was the next day). The ad also calls it a bed and breakfast but there is no breakfast, as this is an apartment.

This little home was immaculate, welcomed our dog and was right next to a beautiful park for long dog walks. The kitchen was fairly well stocked and the owner welcomed us and helped us get in. We were able to use the TV to watch our own Netflix account, which was nice - Wifi was good, location was interesting being close to the action but not paying high prices.

The location is good - but you will need a car or bikes to easily get to the ferry to the city (which is free, fast and super easy) - We wished we'd had bikes because even off the ferry into Amsterdam you have to walk a ways to attractions. The food options near the house are limited, restaurants were closed or wouldn't let us order over the phone for pick up and we couldn't find anyone to deliver pizza OR order takeout. Stay in main Amsterdam for better food options. As you know, you cannot cook in the house but we did like the hard-egg cooker for breakfast.

We had a lovely stay at the apartment, we had 2 couples and the place was just the right size for the 4 of us. We really liked the suggests that the host provided and the personal touch with welcoming us to the apartment. Although the apartment isn’t right in the thick of it, we enjoyed that, as we wanted somewhere a little more quiet and out of the city.

We didn’t have much to complain about, only thing to be aware of is that this apartment is below the hosts home, so there was the occasional knock on the door and sound from upstairs.

What a beautiful place! This was by far the most well designed space we stayed in during our trip to Europe. Spacious and stylish, we felt quite fancy. The apartment is located close to shops and restaurants and a park for walking and sports. Our host was extremely kind and gracious, it felt more like visiting a friend than a stay at a strangers place. I'm sad we were only able to stay for one night. We will definitely stay again if our travels take us near there.

The owners were friendly and really helpful. The neighbourhood was peaceful. The local pub near the lock was superb - great food and atmosphere. Apartment was ideal for my partner and I and our two young children.

The walk to the Metro was a bit far for our two children on the odd occasion. However, we were aware of this when we booked. Plus there was a great ice cream shop half way so we could make a pit-stop sometimes! Also, I’d still rather have been in Noord than central Amsterdam.

The property was clean, spacious and just on the edge of a park, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. There was a great cafe bar just round the corner and is about a 10 minute walk from the bus stop that takes you near the free ferry crossing into the city.

The nearest supermarket is about a 20 minute walk away but there are other smaller shops nearby. Not for people who want to be in the heart of the action.

we loved the design of the place. It is obvious that it’s been done by someone with style. It is modern and stylish and nicely represents the country we came to visit, which is something I appreciate. My favourite is the R. painting in the bedroom😊

We come from a small town so maybe not used that everything is so far. Amst. city is big! If going somewhere a car or a bike is definitely nedeed.

Lovely ground floor apartment in pretty village area next to a park - great little neighbourhood well worth exploring as an alternative to going into the City.

Apartment is a 20min walk from the Metro - alternatively there is a complex route from Central Station via the ferry, bus then 15min walk through the park, which seemed longer when you have heavy luggage & it is raining - not recommended for disabled or those arriving in the dark...get a cab!

Gorgeous apartment in a lovely quiet residential area. Not far from the city but felt like a different world! Very stylishly designed and comfortable for our family of 4.

It’s a fair walk from the free ferry stop. This wasn’t a problem for us really but it is important to note this for future guests.

The location I great for visiting Amsterdam but you must hire bikes to make the most of a visit. We parked the car up during our stay and just used bikes which were dropped off and collected from the house. The nearby free ferry takes you straight into the central station area. The Noord area also has great bars and cafes. Nearby green spaces. The host Bart is friendly and helpful and as he lives next door is on hand if you need any help.

Nothing, I would visit again and use this house.
