Location is OK if you need to be in that part of the city. It is good 20 mins walk from the Central station of Amsterdam and the main turistic part. Rooms seem quite new, nicely decorated and decent size. Bed comfortable. View straight to the water, very spacious and open. Beautiful on a good weather day.

Very poor breakfast choice. For 21 euros/day you get to choose between muffin, croissant, yoghurt or waffle. Only not sweet position there was croissant with ham and cheese - very fatty and hardly nutritional. No toasted bread, no eggs, no cold cuts or cheese, veggies not too mention. Check in process - I received quite a few messages to do the online check-in process to make it "faster". Upon arrival had to ge once again through exactly the same steps as in the online procedure, arrived at almost midnight and was wrecked. What was the point of wasting my time on the online filling in the check-in?

Very iconic bldg, excellent location, by bike about 15min from Oldtown..you can see it from a distance. Biking around downtown, it was easy to find our way back, because the hotel stuck out from its environment, easy to recognize. 2nd time we had a better and larger room w/ view. Bathroom was modern and adequate. Good design, very sparce furniture. The ground floor is the Hotel, all the upper floors are condos, some of t most expensive in Amsterdam. Convenient to rent our bikes for the day right there from the hotel- a bit expensive-15EU/day. Breakfast bags good price, and very ample, unlimited coffee w/breakfast bag.

For the 1st 2 days we had a small “internal room” (cheapestpriceavailable) which means no windows to t outside (though they did tell us that) it would’ve been worth it to upgrade to an outside room, because all the rooms had amazing view -270deg view around the harbour/water.

On the water was beautiful and the view was amazing. The facilities in the room were awesome, the speaker a very nice touch. The staff were very good and all requests were dealt with quickly. There is a free ferry service right outside the hotel. It is actually 2 ferries to central station, you need to take the first one to NDSM and then from there one to central. They run every 10 mins and only take 5 mins each. This is a bit quicker than walking to central, though the walk is pleasant and we chose to do this a few times also. We will be booking again with Hotel Pontstiger. We had an amazing stay

The coffee machine didn't work properly and the key card stopped working more than once. That was my only grip but I understand these things happen and don't hold it against the hotel.

the room itself was great, and the help-yourself bar was a new experience but a very nice and modern touch to the hotel. the staff were great and there were zero problems handling any of our requests. Overall great experience!

our room was the closest to reception and there were sounds at times of running water and possible heaters that we could hear from our room. the room being close to recpetion was not a problem for us but is something to keep in mind in peak season when the hotel is busier.

Waterside location with nice view. Clean and fairly new. Handy position for the free ferry otherwise location not easiest to get to.

Strange setup to toilet / shower (shower head needed cleaning or similar to help it work better). Clothes storage area is opposite shower which is wet room floor so basically floods when you shower meaning all area in front of sink and clothes store is soaked. No area in shower or loo to place own bottles or similar. Massive pillar in awkward place right next to bed. Hotel was a.strange set up with reception tucked in a corner on other side of apartment complex which isn't really explained online. Couldn't get outside the room to the walkway next to water.

We liked the aesthetic of the room! It was very beautiful and clean. Also, the location was great. The staff of the hotel was very friendly and let us leave our luggage there before check-in and after check-out, that was very convenient.

The image of the hotel in booking is not quite accurate. It shows the whole building, while the hotel is only on one side of the building and it's on the first floor. And I guess, this is common in the NL, but the windows were on the first floor in front of the path to the hotel, so there is not so much privacy if the curtains are open.

Amazing rooms and very stylishly put together. It is not that far out a 15 minute walk tot hre best cafe district and the Jordan and a 5minute walk fomr supermarket it is very quiet but close enough to walk or bike everywhere.

It did not have a mini fridge was annoying if you wanted to have cold drinks in your room but that was the only downside.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. Easy to navigate to the center from the hotel. Very quiet.

My room had a giant column which made it very difficult to navigate. The shower was not enclosed so there would be huge puddles of water in the bathroom. Heat didn’t work well. Was a little pricey but I realize it was due to it being tourist season.

What a nice spacious bed to lay in after a long day in the city. The staff was also very generous and kind

It was quite dark in the room, a few more lamps/lights added would be nice. People can see right into the room so be cautious with that while changing. For that reason, we always had the curtains closed and missed some natural light in the room.
