Good hotel room. Very comfy bed. Fabulous breakfast delivered to our room on a tray. So much food, freshly baked bread, yoghurt, fruit and so much more. Good spacious shower. We had our own bikes and were able to store them in the garden by our patio door. Only 15 min on bikes to town centre. Its location suited us, not being in the centre made it nice and quiet. Coffee and tea facilities in room. Key code for front door and room so didn't have to carry key around. Definitely use this hotel again. Haarlem is a lovely place, good places to eat out

Slightly more storage place for clothes. Tiny WC cubicle.

We requested breakfast the night before which arrived on a tray at the door to our room at 8 am. The breakfast was delicious with cereal, yogurt, bread, cheese, ham, fruit and fruit juice. The room included coffee and tea making facilities as well as a fridge. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. The room had access to a patio and table and chairs which are situated in a lovely garden.

The location of the hotel is at the southern boundary of Haarlem so we had to go to Heemstede to find domewhere to eat in the evening. Fortunately Heemstede has a wide range of restaurants available. However some were closed on Monday evening.

It was just phenomenal! The room had a direct entry into a wonderful big private garden/park that could be seen from the room through two glass walls in full. Private chairs and small table for a pleasant dinner in the flowering garden with a fountain, own sunbeds, too! Great room with a fully equiped small kitchen corner, free snack, bottled water and wine, modern design everywhere, very comfortable bed. Enough free parking place in front of the house, easy to navigate to. I did not order breakfast, have no idea, how it was served. This hotel´s location is ideal for the nightly Flower corso!!

The self-check-in was quite stressy, as I have never seen a door handle with such locker, I could not find where I should enter the code to open the room door. Standing in from of the room, that part of the hall was quite dark to see the very small detail on the handle. And, I did not expect the buttons directly on the handle. It took quite a long time to find it out. Next time, a photo could be added into the e-mail with instructions for check-in. (It was little bit strange that I came and left without seeing anybody/whoever from the staff or owners...just to mention)

The hotel was stunning and set in beautiful grounds. We had a superior suite which took up most of the top floor so had great views. plus we could leave all the windows open when wee went out, much needed as the weather was sunny and hot. Loved that the items in the mini bar were complementary, a really nice touch. Breakfast was fabulous and delivered to to the room, one of the reasons that I chose this hotel. The bed was super comfy and huge, the whole suite beautifully kitted out and i loved that I could read in the bath while the hubby watched the Grand Prix and we were in the same room :) We chose the location as we have a day and evening in Zandvoort planned, and it worked out perfectly. E20 in an uber each way to the beach.

The only teeny downside is we could have done with more coffee for the morning, if a pot of fresh coffee was provided on the breakfast tray it would have been perfection :)

Beautiful inn on the edge of Haarlem with an amazing back property, huge breakfasts and very lovely accommodations. Anne and the other staff members were incredibly accommodating.

The location was quite a distance from the center of Haarlem - it took us 35 minutes to walk there. That being said, there was a lovely park across the street and it was in a residential area.

Very quiet location. Very pretty, easy walk, alongside a park, to the city centre which took about 30 minutes. Large room, two patio doors looking out on the beautiful garden, if it had been hot/sunny we could have sat outside, patio table and chairs provided. Bed and bed linen comfy. Large shower cubicle, good shower. Fantastic breakfast delivered to our door each morning.

Not enough tops/shelves to put things on, especially toileteries. Very small table in the room, when we used it to put the breakfast tray on we had to move everything off the table! Not enough hooks to hang coats etc.

While a fully digital check-in is a bit unpersonal, it was very useful for us as we arrived late. We received two codes for the main door and the room and all worked perfectly. We could park the car right in front of the house. A very nice breakfast was placed in front of the room in the morning that we could complement with fresh coffee from the coffee machine. With the left overs we prepared our lunch breads. There is a nice park outside that in summer certainly would be great to relax in. Before we left the place, a nice lady came to confirm that we had found everything to our satisfaction.

The hotel is a small “boutique” style hotel - a one-off property. The hotel itself is located in a converted house on a main road on the outskirts of Haarlem, but still within the town area. The conversion has been professionally done to a high standard. There is one room in the roof space and another 3 or 4 (?) downstairs. Everything is digital, there is no reception. Check in and check out were seamless and very easy. There is ample parking right in front of the hotel. Our room was spotless and well appointed. The bed had a quality topper that was very comfortable and we slept well. Our room, in the roof space, had an open plan bathroom with the glass shower cubicle and the bath in the actual room. I am not a big fan of this concept but in this instance it worked well and did not seem strange. The rainwater shower was excellent. There was a small kitchenette, an iron and board as well as some comfortable chairs.

Overall our stay was faultless. If pushed to find fault I would judge that the attic room was a bit on the dark side despite one full length window overlooking the garden and lake. This really wasn’t an issue but nowhere is perfect, right?

The large room and glass doors to the garden

No 24 hour concierge so if there were any problems had to use the telephone. Two peaceful nights. There was a rowdy group for one of our three nights and we realised lack of concierge was a problem. The staff were very understanding but doesn’t make up for the disturbances

The staff was amazing before hand. We stayed there for our wedding. Upon arriving after our wedding, the room was beautifully decorated. The present for my husband was put in the room before our arrival. And the staff went beyond to make our stay amazing. 10/10 would come back
