Perfect location in the town centre. It has its own car park, but if that is full there’s a public car park on the doorstep. Very clean, had all amenities including kettle and a fridge. Powerful shower. The decor is clean and modern with a small bar. The breakfast is simple, but adequate. All the staff were very helpful. Wouldn’t hesitate to use it again if we were in Valkenburg.

Only problem which may be an issue for some people was the room was a little cold even with the radiator on full, (it was about 6c outside at night), but that wasn’t really a problem for me personally.

Staff very helpful and friendly, our room was very clean, breakfast plenty of choice. Location was amazing, just right in the centre.

There were only two plugs in the whole accomodation, one in the bathroom and one in the room self. Nothing by the bedside. To turn off the TV, you had to get out of bed(half asleep). And the bed mattress was a bit too soft for my liking, but that's a personal preference

Great breakfast. All clean and well kept in the hotel. The hotel is placed in the center of the town.

The room was icecold when we arrived. Heating was turned off, but we could switch it on. No heating at all in the bathroom. A bit strange also, we reach out to the hotel when booking in english, but receive the reply in dutch.

The location and breakfast were Superb. The Management was very nice as well. The lady at check-in was not very talkative and did not point out recommendations, or what to see or do in Valkenburg. The Front desk staff is always the face of the company, as well as the promoter of the City and Tourism to Valkenburg, so she could have done it better by representing her City and the Management.

The noisiness of the rooms and the temperature in the room. Both are issues that the management can address. The temperature is a quick fix, and the noisiness is implementing more stricter rules for fellow Guests with quiet hours to adhere to.

What a lovely family business! Fantastic location, attentive staff, clean cozy rooms, really good breakfast - they even provided a perfect gluten-free option. We had a small problem with the size / access of the hotel parking spaces and decided to use public parking after all and they reimbursed the costs (10eur per day) without us even asking. Very fair.

The mattress was too soft for me and the rooms got rather warm (no airco). Ventilator was provided though.

Family-run hotel. Excellent location, cleanliness, and service. Very polite staff and a delicious breakfast. Check-in closes early (7 pm) but they were super responsive to handing over the keys a little later.

Dimly lit room. The shower could have had a glass door so we didn't get the entire bathroom wet when taking a shower. The minibar was completely empty. There is nowhere to leave your bags after check-out, you must leave the hotel for good.

The location was perfect. Close to restaurants shops transport and attractions. The breakfast was very good, my room was idea. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Valkenburg is a great place to visit.

Perfect location in the quaintest part of Valkenburg. Under the ruins of the Castle and so close to wonderful little restaurants and cafes. The hotel seems to have been recently refurbished and it was very clean. The breakfast was good with plenty of tables. Parking was close by. We would definitely stay here again and we also like the fact that it is a family-run hotel.

No aircon in the room - but the open window and fan was sufficient for our stay. Hopefully when it's hotter, the room would still be a comfortable temperature.

Walking distance to all amenities .Staff always helpful with local information .Help yourself breakfast always re stocked .Beds very comfortable. Hotel situated in quiet link road. Would definitely go again.Hotel very clean. Hotel run by three generations. Well done Hulsman family .staff very knowledgable and clear in al various languages.

There was nothing to dislike
