The apartment felt really spacious and clean. Also the location was perfectly situated in the middle of the city centre. Ideal if you have a newborn in a stroller. Kitchen was also nicely stocked, dishwasher, fridge, microwave.

The reserved parking spot is a bit crowded if there are other cars. If you have parking spot number 1, there seems to be a decent chance you can get parked in by number 2. Secondly, we expected the apartments to have an elevator. So it was a bit of a surprise there wasn't one. Had to carry a stroller upstairs, which was inconvenient.

We had an apartment and it was lovely, comfortable and had everything we needed. We ate out all 3 nights so we didn't actually need to use the kitchen but its big enough and well equipped. The breakfast was included in our stay and it was wonderful, plenty to eat and drink. we sat outside in the sunshine each morning. We came to this area to see André Rieu in Maastricht. I was trying to book a hotel in Maastricht but they were either full or very expensive. I am soooo glad that was the case as I found the beautiful town of Valkenburg. The location of the hotel was the best it could be. We could walk to everything. the town is wonderful with lots of restaurants and bars, supermarkets, clothes shops etc. We even came across a pub and watched the euro semi finals with lots of dutch supporters who couldn't have been more welcoming. The car park they suggest you park in which is just a short walk from the hotel is free from 8pm - 11am. But bear in mind the 1 day we didn't leave Valkenburg at all it cost me £14.50 from 11pm - 8pm. the car park is big with enough spaces and safe, so just budget that in to your trip. I absolutely loved my stay here, and the hotel certainly added to that, I can't wait to go back!

Breakfast was so yummy !!!! I enjoyed it for 2 mornings. The restaurant area was also very nice. Location was Fanstatic. Very friendly staff!! The jr. suite was very spacious, Modern bathroom and WC. Bed pretty good. Clean room.

The lift was very small and old. No hand rail in the shower /tub to grab on while getting in and out of bath or in case one was to fall. No trash can in the suite area. Just a very very tiny one in the bathroom. Tv out dated and not easy to figure out. Also no radio in the tv.

The hotel is located right in the city center, on the bank of the Geul river, and the view from the room window is superb. The room is large, bright, with all facilities. Varied breakfast, for all tastes. And the town is quite atypical for the Netherlands: it is located between hills, crossed by a fast river, and there is even a chairlift. It is a good base for day trips to South Limburg, Maastricht, Aachen and even Liege

I kept looking for a knot in the pile, but I didn't find anything. Everything was OK. :).

Great place, the little appartment offered privacy and was very clean, with nice beds. The front desk staff at the main hotel was very friendly and offered us advice and let us stash our bags the last day after check-out so we could explore the city some more. Also the breakfast provided there was very nice.

The only thing we missed at our appartment was a sofa instead of two seperate chairs. Because we were with three people, this meant that we couldn't sit comfortably with all of us together.

Hotel is very well situated = quiet car-free zone right by the Canal, all Bars/Restaurants just around the corner, the parade comes right past you and the Caves are a 10 minute walk. Staff are very helpful and polite. Reasonable choice for breakfast, but the Dutch can't 'do' Coffee... Parking was safe and about 300m away for €11/night.

Lift is quite old fashioned - but it works. Don't even attempt the stairs !

Excellent location, very helpful reception- gave as lots of helpful information about where to go to see the most existing things around city. Good breakfast. Comfortable beds. Tea/coffee making facilities in a room.

We came on very hot day. Our room temperature where boiling but unfortunately no air con in a room. Little bit shame as the rest was excellent.

The location is great, right at the heart of Valkenburg with many Christmas markets around. The staff is very well behaved and explains everything well. The room is clean and facilities are present.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable and the junction between two single beds didn't help unforunately. A wardrobe could have been present.

Great that they had a tub on each table at breakfast for peelings, teabags, butter wrappers etc but didn’t like that each had a plastic bag which was thrown out adding to the huge amount of plastic going to landfill. Better to use strong paper bag

We enjoyed the location of the hotel, staff were lovely, and the hotel was very clean.

No hook for coats. Although we had a basic room, would be nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room. As we paid £80 per night, I don't think this is an unreasonable request.
