Really liked the traditional feel to this hotel. Good old-fashioned service with attention and a flourish. We had a good sized room and modern bathroom. Location is great for Maastrict: a bus into town allows you to experience all the bustle of the tourist but you can return to peace in the evenings. Good places to eat and drink nearby and the hotel's own restaurant is great (closed Sundays) Plenty of free parking.

If you want a quieter night's sleep, ask for a room at the back. The hotel is on a road and there will be traffic noise. Lovely buffet breakfast, unusually, no toaster.

The staff was super nice. The gentleman at the reception kindly explained everything to us, gave nice tips and called when the cleaning team found my blanket that I forgot to take with me. (We came back for it and had no problems getting it back). The hotel is old-school but in a nice way. It was was clean. The beds were a bit too soft for me and the location is good if you have a car. If not I recommend taking a bus to the city center. Overall my family and I had a very pleasant stay.

We received exceptional personal service as soon as we arrived, with the offer using their garage to park our bikes. The rooms were clean and well appointed. We opted to eat in and we’re not disappointed. The personal and professional service continued in the restaurant and the food was very good. Breakfast was the usual continental buffet with a good selection of cereals and pastries etc.

The only minor gripe is there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, but we were able to grab a quick tea/coffee from the restaurant if we wanted one. This would not stop us from staying here again.

Friendly welcome and a comfortable room. We enjoyed the bar for a nightcap and the optional breakfast in the morning. We asked for information about buses into the city, there was a temporary replacement route, the staff kindly ensured we had the right info. Maastricht is lovely, we greatly enjoyed our evening in the city. Free parking at the hotel and good WiFi.

Hotel restaurant closed due to staff shortages, not a big issue, but check if you are relying on it.

Bathroom was very spacious. Beds were really comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Conveniently located right near a bus stop but only a half hour walk on foot to city centre if you prefer the sites

Being an old building it didn’t have a lift but one of the workers helped carry luggage up. We also had a cleaner walk into our room around 9:30 without knocking and woke us up apologising. But other than that it was amazing

Great location just outside of Maastricht, easy off road parking with option to park motorbikes for free in a secure garage. Lovely large room & modern bathroom with comfortable bed. Fabulous breakfast & friendly host.

Unfortunately the shower door leaks water. Lots of road traffic noise when windows are open as our room this time was located at the front of the property. Will request a room located at the rear next time.

At the first view the hotel looks somewhat old fashioned ( the restaurant makes you think at Tirol :)), but it is a good, non nonssens hotel, which is well situated on about 3 kms from Maastricht city. You get value for your money. The location of the hotel offers a good starting point for bicycle tours. There is secured bicycle storage garage. The Comfort room was best OK and the bathroom comfortable and very clean. Very good service. The personnel is very friendly, helpful and client oriented. The food on the menu was just excellent and tasteful ( a very good chef) and the breakfast was very good. I would go there again without hesitation.

There was a kind of fish smell when you enter the room. This is apparently caused by construction work nextdoors. The hotel is located alongside the busy road to Aachen. Considering the room was at the backside of the hotel, there was no problem of noise in the room, even with the window open. Sitting in the garden for a beer, the noise of the cars on the road was sometimes ennoying. But even with this remarks, it remains a good hotel.

The staff was lovely. The interior of the hotel makes you feel like you're at an old hunters lodge. Delicious and reasonably priced dinner. Very comfortable beds. It is about a ten minute bike ride outside of the city center, but we rented bikes at the train station and it was easy enough to find out way. No complaints!

Property had old and modern elements. Mostly older characteristics- narrow door ways, winding steep stairways, lots of little steps up and down from room to room. But modern patio, and bathrooms.

Property on a busy main road, traffic continued all night. No elevator, stairs only.

The rooms were very comfortable, we chose to stay at the back of the building which is not on the main road. It was very comfortable and enjoyed the restaurant food downstairs for dinner which was very delicious.
