As some previous guests in Booking, we were moved to the Residence by Marriott which is on higher floors in the same building. The room/small studio was comfortable (bit less character than Moxy rooms perhaps) and the Marriott staff kinder and more professional than those of Moxy. All stays in Residence come with a breakfast, which was a nice one with plenty of options.

Parking is a public one next to the hotel at 20 euros per night, it’s fine. Pet’s fee is the highest I’ve paid in comparison to other places in Europe (25 euros/night). Luckily, staff were kind enough to only charge one night.

I had multiple options for a place to choose from, and this one wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive. I made the right choice. When approaching the hotel I couldn't believe how perfect its location was. This may be the best hotel from the list based on its location. You can easily walk to the shopping street in a couple of minutes and get to any required public transportation you need. Reception was fantastic and helped right away. Breakfast options were ideal. In other words, the overall vibes of this place stay fantastic. To sum up: - Best location ever - Friendly staff - Great breakfast - Cozy overall feeling

A few things can be improved but they were not enough to ruin the overall experience: - When I arrived, the elevator system went out of order, and only two of the four elevators worked, prolonging the waiting time. - Trash lying around on the ground outside where trees are growing. - Cleaning staff might need a better checklist for what to check for when cleaning rooms. This checklist could help them catch issues like damaged walls, hangers that fall out of the wall, or clogged showers, addressing these issues and preventing guests from being let into problematic rooms.

• I really enjoyed how spacious the room was, and the big flat-screen smart TV. I travelled with a small suitcase (hand-carry size), which fit perfectly on the provided luggage storage, leaving ample room. • Located pretty much in the heart of Den Haag, everything you need is within walking distance: a supermarket, gym, public transport, DH Central Train Station, and many sights which can be found on a nice walk through the city. • The check-in process was very quick, only needing to pay the city’s “tourist tax”, and check-out also took less than a minute. The hotel staff is quite friendly. • I enjoyed the atmosphere of the bar/restaurant area – quite cozy and modern.

• The room was a little bit cold, though this was fixed after talking to a receptionist. The room thermostat cannot be set to more than 26°C, tho the room feels colder than that. The temperature also changes on its own, probably due to temperature timers set by the hotel. • When closing the bathroom door (non-lockable), you can feel a cool draft on you while sitting on the toilet, or at your feet when showering. But as mentioned, this wasn’t really that big of a problem after talking to the hotel staff.

Room was fine. Good size, good bed, good bathroom. The only thing that should be improved is storage for clothing. Hanging your clothes on the wall or keep them in your bag is just not handy. The staff is excellent and makes up for everything you might miss otherwise. Very thoughtful, kind and social. They seem to create a community together amongst them and are able to give you a feeling of belonging to that community. The staff is happy, international, social and professional, hard to find these days in large hotel businesses, this is recruitment and work culture well done.

The location is superb - a 5- 10min walk to the central station and very close to various restaurants, the Mauritshuis and shopping district. Modern facilities- sockets/ USB ports by beds, smart TV, Wifi Loved that they could accommodate early check in.

Housekeeping was a bit hit and miss. Simple things like replenishing the toilet roll ( we had a 4 night stay and we had to ring for a new toilet roll as we ran out), we had to ask for the extra bed to be set up after we checked in ( we had our 9 year old with us and had asked for an extra bed) and we were only provided with 2 sets of towels even though there were 3 of us. We had to ask daily for the third set of towels ( as housekeeping kept removing it). The communal areas - the public toilet near reception- was in a bit of a state when we first arrived. So generally avoided it.

Perfect location close to the city centre and railway station, great view (extra pay for a city view room), clean room, quiet room, opening window, free coffe and tee during all day, friendly and relaxed atmosphere, helpful and friendly staff

Hotel rooms haven’t any safe box, my fault that I didn’t check it before booking, but I thought that safe boxes are automatically in a four stars hotels. Very poor breakfast: absolutely not worth the price of 17 euros for breakfast, very little choice of food, cold bad eggs, runny cheese, almost no vegetables. Breakfast were a big disapointment of hotel

Location is super convenient, very close to central train station, tram, bus, central market. Nice size room, friendly staff, free coffee all day, comfortable bar/restaurant area. Overall very convenient! We even exercised in the small, but nicely equipped gym!

There is no closet in the room, the cloth hangers are on a wired fancy mesh on the wall. Unfortunately this can accomodate very few clothes, so I wish this would be more spacious or with a closet. Also there was only one bin in the entire room, within the toilet and without a lid (i.e. open bin). This is not hygienic or nice to see in my opinion.

Fun quirky decor. Free tea and coffee. Friendly staff. Free cocktail on arrival. Got early check in as a room was ready. Good location. Entrance from car park straight to hotel

It would have been helpful to get the information about needing to book a parking space before we parked and had to drive out and in again, costing an additional 4€. I even checked the Moxy website for info before arriving but didn’t see this. Car park a little hard to find as it’s covered in scaffolding just now. Bathroom door is very thin so you can hear everything through it.

Fab hotel, great staff and really good location. Room was cold on the first night, couldnt turn the stat up any higher (think it was over ridden by a master switch) night two was much warmer so think they must have had some complaints. Only one pillow and no extras in room, plus only one chair, so someone had to sit on the bed. Good tv with BBC channels so some English tv. No where to hang clothes, only four hangers on a wall rack which we needed for winter coats. Bathroom very good lots of hot water. The bar downstairs is quirky and fun, free drink on arrival was a nice touch. We ate in the bar both evenings and the food was hit and miss (raw chips and pizza not defrosted in the middle) my curry was very nice. We were there for Zuiderpark parkrun and the number 9 tram is visible from the bar. Pay on tram with coins. Some parkrunners didnt bother paying.

Rooms nice and big and could easily have accommodated an extra chair, pillows and hangers. In winter it would be nice for the rooms to be warmer.

That's one of the nicest hotels we've stayed at so far. The staff is really friendly: they explain everything we need to know without asking too many unnecessary questions. They are always ready to help with anything we might need, and there is nothing else to say, really, except how friendly and helpful the staff is. The room is just what we expected: spacious, clean, and with all the necessary amenities. The location is perfect, as we arrived by train and the main train station is only 5-7 minutes away from the hotel. In addition, the hotel offers pizza delivery 24/7, which was delicious. At the bar, we could grab a free tee while we waited for transport. On the day we were leaving, we had to wait for our train for 3 hours, but it was nice to spend time at the hotel while we waited. There is also a free toilet next to the reception for guests who need to wait for their next transport, like us, if we need it.

Nothing, everything was outstanding.
