Stayed here before, will stay again. Nice location, very quiet despite being next to the central train station (they must have sound proofing or something).

Food/drinks felt a little expensive, but then you have a whole shopping mall with Starbucks etc. less than 30 steps away.

The location is outstanding both with respect to Utrecht Centraal train station and a home base for a highly walkable stay in Utrecht. The lobby is nothing spectacular but gives a good first impression of the property. The adjacent restaurant looks very appealing but we did not patronize it, although I can say the restaurant staff was very gracious about lending us wine glasses for the room. It was fun to sit outside in front of the hotel and watch the bicycle traffic at the T intersection of two main bike routes. It’s somehow simultaneously orderly while completely chaotic! Our 10th floor room had a view of the railway tracks (as requested; the trains were barely noticeable if you’re not into trains!). The floor to ceiling windows gave great views to the west which made for some pretty spectacular sunset viewing. The room was plenty spacious by European standards. Clean, modern design; good layout. Bed was really comfy for us who prefer a bed on the firmer side. Rather than irons and ironing boards in every room, the hotel has a number of communal ones located in the hallway immediately across from the elevators. I thought this was very clever instead of them taking up space in every room when likely many guests never use them. They were also all in very good condition which often cannot be said for the out of sight, out of mind ones in many hotel rooms that are broken or spit crap on your clothes. One of the best things about the room is that it had a tv you connect to your own device and cast what you want, and also log into YouTube! I’m done with hotels where you’re restricted from connecting your own device in some way. It meant we didn’t have to watch F1 on my iPad screen! We used the pool once during our four night stay and enjoyed it. Great space with great views. It was not busy at all during our afternoon visit. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly.

I was surprised that a new hotel did not have any USB power receptacles whatsoever. So if you’re travelling from outside of Europe make sure to have enough power converters to meet your charging needs. (Maybe this is more of a European thing as of the three hotels we stayed at on this trip - 2 NL, 1 DE - all of which were no more than a few years old, none had USB sockets.) My spouse’s universal complaint of not enough hooks in the bathroom applies here. The room was not devoid of hooks like some places, but there can always be more!

The hotel has a great location — close to downtown, the train station, and a shopping mall. The room was spacious with a lovely view. We especially enjoyed the in-room jacuzzi, which came with a fun Netherlands-style rubber duck! The soft bathrobes were a nice touch, and the bed was big and very comfortable. Another convenient feature was the iron and ironing board available in the hallway — no need to call reception, you can just take them whenever needed. The staff were also friendly and welcoming.

However, there was no bottles of water provided in the room. We also noticed that the room was a pretty dusty, and overall cleanliness could definitely be improved with more thorough cleaning. Additionally, there is a construction site next to the hotel. Thankfully, it didn’t bother us — we were able to open the window without having much noise from outside.

The wellness amenities were superb. They made our hotel experience memorable and we will be returning to this property because of them. The location is right next to a huge mall, the central train station, and a few minutes' walk to the center city. It was exactly where we wanted to be. We were on one of the higher floors and the views were amazing. Be sure to also check out the roof decks in the wellness area! Great place to watch a late Utrecht sunset. The rooms are modern, immaculate, and well appointed. The staff were professional, very friendly, and eager to assist guests.

They rented robes by the hour for guests to use in the sauna and pool area. Towels were abundant and free to use but not the robes? We ended up just going to the mall next door and purchasing what we needed. That's the only thing that felt disappointing.

I'm a returning guest and I love it. The hotel right beside the Utrecht Central Station that's amazing and it's in the center in the same time. Nice area there is a big shopping centre opposite the hotel, restaurants, shops, canal are few steps away, you can find so many type of food around. There is everything you need. The staff really really nice, kind and helpful. The pool with nice view from the top and the spa facilities are amazing. The City XL room was great with fridge, with walk in shower and a big bath too. It was amazing.

After arriving (by delayed train). I had a quick checking experience. I've been here before and the hotel was still perfectly situation for people who come for "Spellenspektakel" in the Jaarbeurs. The pool and sauna were also relaxing again, although slightly more busy than usual. The fridge in my room found a lot of use since it allowed me to go to a nearby grocery store instead of eating out every night.

Too many people fail to use towels in the sauna. They drip their sweat straight onto the benches. I also found two bottles in a towel cupboard near the pool even though glass was prohibited in the area. I would like to see staff keeping an eye on things to make sure rules are adhered to. Unfortunately, most of the lockers near the pool did not work. I even had to call reception once to have them unlock my locker to get my clothes and room card back.

Location and breakfast are great! Breakfast has a wife variety of products and the hotel is super close to Utrecht Centraal and right in front of Hoog Catharijne. The wellness area is also well equipped and part of it (mainly the gym) has a good view to the station (which is kind of my like). The bedroom was big and the bathroom had a shower and bathtub.

The view of the room was not what I expected. The view to the back of the hotel was much more interesting. Even though the sauna and steam bath are a great add, they seemed to not working properly - both lacked intensity. And to an hotel that includes - for free - the wellness area, the bathrobe should be free of charge.

The location was great. We liked being able to get off the train with our luggage and checking into the hotel. The weather wasn’t great so I am glad we were not required to walk through the center to find a hotel. Also, a large mall is across the street for when the weather did not cooperate. Amsterdam Centraal and the airport are each only 30 minutes away by train. The air conditioning was very good too and allowed some air movement. We barely heard the trains though you could see them through our window. Finally, breakfast was excellent.

It was very expensive, but no more expensive that other hotels in the area. (Why are hotels so expensive in Netherlands?)
