Have wanted to stay at the Bethell's Cottages for many years now! It exceeded all my expectations. The cottage was gorgeous, so comfortable and well equipped, and the view could not be topped, and the host, John, could not have been more welcoming and gave me great tips on local spots to visit, gave me a guided tour down onto a lesser known part of the beach through a private track, and showed me the best spot to see the sunset. I genuinely didn't want to leave!

Genuinely can't fault my stay here - everything was amazing! For some perhaps the distance from places to buy food might be something to consider, and possibly the windy roads in to Bethell's Beach itself, but these are manageable easily and honestly just buy groceries on the way in and you won't need to leave to get food (because you won't want to!)

The location is amazing on the top of the hill overlooking the beach. Self contained quiet beach cottages. Beach is a ten minutes walk. I've stayed there several times down the years and love it.

Wifi works well in shared areas but struggles to reach the cottages. Cottage would benefit from some decluttering in terms of the magazines left for guests etc but they may just be personal preference.

The view overlooking the sand dunes and beach is stunning. Private yet a shared communal area also and gardens and lawns, Quirky accommodation, loved the outdoor fire. Very relaxing plus make time to explore all around Bethells.

Outstanding. Beautifully decorated, incredible views, amazing facilities. Relaxing , hosts lovely and very welcoming.

Well the kids would say not having WiFi in cottage was an issue, but going to shared pavilion with seating and table tennis it worked well which got them out of bed. There are no shops so you must bring food with you

Great view!! Nice and cosy cottage with everything you need. The host,John, came down and introduced the surroundings to us. You can clearly see the Bethells beach and the sunset from the cottage. Fantastic stay!

Beautiful rustic cottage with an incredible view and close to the beach. Trude was so generous and really looked after us desert women unaccustomed to the cold :)

It was a little more rustic than expected, but we really enjoyed our stay!

Great escape from the city, views are amazing and you have your own privacy very romantic and peaceful. Outdoor fire place was a bonus cooked my BBQ yet. John and Trude were so welcoming with a vast knowledge of the area.

Best to go there during daylight if your not familiar with the area.

The location was amazing. We were very happy with the facilities and John and Trudy were so welcoming and friendly. The cottage had everything we needed and had a lovely homely feel. Very relaxing.

Our weekend getaway stay was perfect. Hosts were fantastic. The views even more amazing. Just the peaceful relaxing romantic stay i wanted and more. Will be back for sure! Love love LOVE Bethells beach cottages.

The location and view were amazing looking over Bethells Beach. We also drove to Phia and KareKare beaches. Beautiful scenery and location. Nice cottage with everything you need. Beautiful fresh flowers in our room.
