It’s a fun old house. Communication by the host ahead of time was excellent. Our room had a nice view of the city and a balcony! It was relaxed, homey. We enjoyed meeting both the host and a long-term guest.

It’s on a busy road and it was hard to see the address. We were instructed where to park, but the landmark mailbox to park next to wasn’t obvious.

A beautiful home in a central location. Fabulous views from the upstairs bedroom balcony. Well appointed and homely feel. Really comfy beds and great over-the-bath shower. Finn the cat (who loves fuss so long as he initiates it).

Sitting on a busy road which generates traffic noise that can be heard through closed windows. The creaky floorboards can be difficult to avoid

Very friendly owner made us feel very welcome. Beautiful old art deco property with a lovely homely feel. Nice well equiped kitchen and we could make a lovely breakfast there. Views of the city Comfy lounge and dining room with lots of lovely indoor plants. Friendly cat! Nice spacious bedroom and comfy bed. Has a shared bathroom but it was very clean and easy to access. Would definitely stay there again.

Attending a convention in the Henderson CBD. Was not able to locate accommodation in HENDERSON and this was the closest location. In any event it was close enough to the convention location and on one of the nights it was convenient to the eateries of GLEN EDEN.

It had everything that I needed. I go to places to do things and not spend time in the place that I am staying in.

This is a very nice and comfortable place with lots of character and it feels like a home away from home. It is within walking distance to the train station so very easy to get around Auckland. We had a lovely stay and Tina is a very nice host.

The house is next to a busy road (that's probably unavoidable in Auckland!).

I was travelling solo and stayed at The Kiwi Heritage B and B for two nights and I loved it. Location was perfect for where I needed to travel too with out a lot of fuss, also is very affordable accommodation. The manager / owner was very friendly and made me feel at home. Kiwi Heritage Home stay is a beautiful home, clean, quiet and quite modern inside with beautiful decor. I stayed in one of the single rooms Whatipu which was just perfect for myself, breakfast included as well. There are great views of Auckland city skyline from the kitchen, lounge and dining rooms so I thought that was amazing to see. 5 stars :) Unfortunately, I am unable to upload any of my photos of my stay. I will keep trying though or even better book your stay and find out for your selves ;)

There is nothing I didn't like about my stay at Kiwi Heritage Homestay.

Beautiful older home. Wooden floors, beautiful furniture. Clean and comfortable. Tina was lovely. This was such a good relaxing place to stay. Beautiful gardens and birds ,views of Sky Tower from our room. Breakfast choices were amazing with loads of muesli / cereals to choose from. Coffee and tea facilities.

It was a nice quiet cosy stay I loved the cat.

Bathroom on middle floor window was worried someone could see in as window was clear and you can clearly see another window from the shower other than that the place was wonderful

All was great. Location close to everything. Lots good eating establishments nearby. Central location. Place had gorgeous plants in lounge and outside areas which added to a lovely environment. Friendly and thoughtful hosts. Met and greeted at drive. Felt welcome a sweet clean character place.

Free parking out on lawn was really great and easy just potentially less secure than if in the driveway. However our vehicle was safe no problems at all.

Breakfast facilities were excellent for a B&B A lovely dining room off the kitchen

Our bedroom door lock needs attention, very hard to shut and lock door....... a non slip suction mat in the shower might be good 😊
