Everything about the property and our stay was great. Fabulous location surrounded by the outdoors. All facilities are as advertised, clean, luxurious and private. Appreciated the extra touches like pantry items on arrival. It was nice to meet the new owners and we were very much taken care of. A great spot for a getaway, we would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

Amazing spot with a lovely spa outside where you could watch the stars. You could hear kiwis call out, and the privacy was great. The hosts were exceptional, and we even got a welcoming message on the driveway. We enjoyed a birthday cake which was waiting for us.

Going back home

Skylark Lodge was absolutely wonderful. Private, great view with a deck and hot tub, beautifully designed little house, all very luxe. This was hands down our favorite of 20 different places we stayed in Australia and New Zealand.

Nothing to dislike

We enjoyed everything, from the location view spa bath the bedroom was amazing we were right in nature and it was beautiful. The host were amazing really looked after us and honestly can't wait to stay there again as soon as we can :)

The weather but even so it was amazing

We loved everything from our stay. The home is very tidy and clean. It deserves a 5 star rating for sure. The host is very kind and lovely. We enjoyed every moment especially the added touch of a welcome sign and orientation.

We loved the fantastic view, the hot tub, the comfortable bed, the friendly hosts and the quiet location - we loved it all!!!!

We loved everything! So clean (in fact we’ve never stayed anywhere as clean), beautiful finishes, great communication, the perfect location, views forever. Karen and Daryl are the perfect hosts, helpful, friendly, knowledgeable.

The location, hosts & attention to detail in the accommodation all combined to make an amazing stay. Loved every minute & wished we stayed longer!

From the moment of arrival we were blown away. Personalised greeting sing on the driveway on arrival and the host was exceptional. Met us at the property to show us around and give loads of local information. The pictures are exactly how the place and view looks. Even the stars were on show for us which we enjoyed from the private outdoor spa. All in all this property exceeded my expectations and made for one memorable stay. Thanks for sharing your amazing property with us all. My partner and I will be back for sure.
