Room tidy, clean, ordered and fresh toweling. Easy access to wifi and TV. The instructions on the wall by the front door was very helpful, more so than the folder left on the table.

I really appreciated the instructions left on the front door wall which helped me navigate the wifi and TV. The room was extremely hot and I didn't know how to adjust the temperature to blow cool air. I eventually managed to bring the temperature down in the room but wondered about other customers who might be just as technologically challenged like me. Would the Palm court consider writing instructions on how to use the AirCon and leaving that on the front door wall also.

I like the thick drapes that blocked out sunlight so we could sleep without daylight blaring through the room. It's hard to find a motel that blocks out the noise for us shift worker's trying to sleep during the day. The spa bath was lovely and the huge king size bed was comfy and luxurious. Overall the room was well equipped for a family, hubby and I were amazed with the amount of space adding value well spent.

Perhaps the door lock could be updated, struggled a little to lock and unlock with the key. Worked perfectly from the inside.

The owner was nice enough to loan his shovel to me for so we could dig a hot water bath at Kawhia Beach. Strong Wi-Fi. Fast internet. Air conditioner worked well and did not blow air directly onto the bed.

There was no kitchenette sink in our room -- we were instructed to not wash our dirty dishes so the staff could replace them with clean ones every day. There was no kitchenette stove top either -- just a microwave and electric pot to boil water.

The manager was super helpful and accommodating. The 1bed room we stayed in was large and had a great kitchenette in it. Very close to town there is a supermarket across the road and an amazing play ground.

The road noise we live where there is no road near by and are unused to road noise so for others this may not be such a problem though.

The motel is a bit older but all very clean. It was a bit stuffy when we arrived and smelled of cleaning - after opening the windows for a while it was all right. They gave us proper milk and the host was very friendly. It would be good to open the windows before the guest arrive.

On the upper floor one could hear the trucks.

We had a 2 bedroom unit which had plenty of room for a couple and 2 teenagers. Also had an additional bed we didn’t need. We arrived early and an early check in was no problem. Very helpful and friendly host. Great location in easy walking distance to Woolworths and local restaurants and shops. Would highly recommend

Amazing location parking at the door so many nice eating out choices at walking distance. Supermarket around the corner and a great playground across the street. Big rooms and clean. Close to waitomo caves.

I would have preferred if the mattresses were not as soft as they were same with the pillows but my kids actually like the fact they were soft. We all still managed to have a great sleep both nights we stayed.

Well located motel, walking distance to the everything and despite being on the main road you didn't hear any of the trucks rolling past at all hours.

The bottom rooms would benefit from sound proofing as you can hear the people upstairs walking around, talking and when the bathroom facilities have been used.

We were very grateful for the earlier check in after a long drive. Our host was very helpful and friendly telling us about the local area. Very convenient location, close to shops and cafes. Our room was very dated, however it was spotless and had everything we needed.

The bed was terribly uncomfortable unfortunately.

WiFi connection was good, walking distance to anywhere in town. Free parking space.

Can be a bit noisy since lots of heavy traffic. The office was supposed to be open for check in when we arrived but it was actually not. We called the manager, but got a recorded message on the voicemail. Did call again after ~30 min with good luck this time. Everything went well after all and got to check in all good. Just calling to a NZ number from my Finnish one was a bit of a pain since it cost me a lot...
