This is the cleanest holiday park I have ever stayed in, hands down. That's not just our room - the kitchen, shared bathrooms, pool area, everything was spic and span. Amazing! The room was very comfortable and warmed up with 10 minutes of turning on the heater. The spa was awesome during the cold winter afternoon too. It's only a short walk to the caves, as well as the convenience of having a restaurant and general store straight across the road.

The WIFI is metered, but if you have data on your phone plan it's not the end of the world.

Great location. It is very near to the Waitomo Caves. The office hours are from 9:00 am to 8:00 PM, and the check - out time is 10:00 am on the day of departure. It's quite early, but it's normal in New Zealand.There are a quite large playground and a trampoline. It's a great place for children to play.Smoking is not permitted in the communal blocks. The swimming pool is quite good. It opens from 9:00 am to 8:00 PM. There's also a hot tub where guests can enjoy hot water bath.总体来讲，非常值得体验。

It's about laundries, if you want to take advantage of the washing machine, you have to prepare many coins. Absolutely you can change them at the reception, but after office hours you can do nothing if you lack coins.

We were very impressed with the property, it had everything we needed, perfectly located and the staff were friendly and helpful. There isn’t much in Waitomo when it comes to eating out so I highly recommend bringing your own food and cooking at the property.

One smallest thing - the way the curtain above the bed is positioned means that you wake up with light streaming straight into your eyes, a roller blind there might have been a better option.

The park facilities and location was perfect! Staff were super friendly, informative and genuinely nice, especially when my kids wanted to see the axolotls in the reception area. We ended up getting the deluxe cabin, as everything else was booked out (we booked in last minute) but The kitchen and bathrooms were not too far away from our cabin. Everything around the whole park was clean and tidy and everything conveniently labeled for everyone to see/use. So many activities for the kids to enjoy also, so this was a good break for us parents for a bit also.

If anything, I'd just say the pool is rather small for the amount of people that frequent it in the afternoons. I think maybe in the future they should build a kiddy pool, so baby/toddlers/primary aged kids have a safe space to swim in, but that's just me nit picking, as the whole park was awesome!

We had a 2Bd Family unit and it was fully kitted out in kitchen and parking right next to the unit. Very clean and tidy and a great family vibe around the camp ground. The outdroo pool was great to cool down in the heat of summer, but also had a spa for the colder days (although not big). The staff were super friendly and helpful and when we couldn't get into the Waitomo Caves (which you MUST book ahead in peak season) they were able to suggest several other walks, which we did nearby. Would be a great spot for families young or with teens like us :-). I left belongings behind and the staff were super helpful at getting them back to me.

Family just wanted a nice break, a nice place to stay, a nice pool and great views. We were so happy just to come here and enjoy the area and have a nice place to rest and sleep

Basicly I know things cost alot these days and this business has ALOT of costs it needs to pay, but the nightly charge was just so much. Makes it hard to go back at that rate. Would love to come back more if it was more affordable.

Family friendly, loved the cleanliness of rooms and grounds. Swimming pool great depth for 6+ year olds. Suitable stay for large families.

Lovely stay in the top units with private shower/toilets, and the kitchen is highly appointed with everything you need. Very clean with fresh linen changed daily. Great facilities, pools, playground and even a giant size chess set which is super cool, great to keep the kids occupied.

Even though everything was spot on, the beds let it down for us, we found them too hard. A couple of our group woke with sore backs and ended up in their living rooms. It would be good when booking to have a choice in the mattress comfort.

Clean and comfortable

The double bed was bottom of bunk bed — that was fine but the top bunk was too close. Needs an extender of some sort if possible. Hit my head several times on top bunk just getting up
