Firstly, it was set in a lovely elevated position with far reaching views. There was ample parking. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly and informative host. Information sheets listed all the nearby eateries shops etc. Our room was superbly equipped, we particularly liked the help yourself breakfast provided in our room with choice of cereals, breads etc in our kitchen area. There was a nice outdoor seating area too, although we did not use it. Quite , comfortable , lovely room, recommend. Perfect location to visit the Waitomo Glowworm Caves area.

Only having time to stay there one night. For us, it was perfect.

Hostess was Delightful - Very helpful and knowledgeable. Facilities were very clean and tidy - Comfortable and quiet. Continental Breakfast was Very good - Choice of 3 cereals, 2 kinds of bread, yoghurt, canned peaches and a lovely selection of spreads - as well as a small carton of juice. Lovely rural setting. Good parking space.

Room was smaller than expected - but perfect for what we needed. Nowhere much to put travelling bags etc - but this was a small drawback to an otherwise Delightful Stay

Breakfast consisted of cereals, yogurt, trail mix, canned peaches, toast, juice, tea and milk provided in the room for guests to choose and prepare for themselves. The location was perfect for our visit to the Waitomo Caves. Host was on property, extremely friendly and helpful. The yard and patio are beautiful with flowers and succulents. We enjoyed spending time in the beautiful setting.

The room was tiny with no dresser or closet.

I spent a very peaceful night here. This isn’t just a room in someone’s home, my room (and it looked like all the others too) had its own entrance. This meant I couldn’t hear any noise from other guests, and I had a great sleep. It’s ideally situated between Waitomo and Ōtorohanga where you can find plenty of food options. I met one of the hosts and she was lovely, and went the extra mile to provide options that met my dietary needs. Highly recommend!

Honestly I wouldn’t change anything, this was a great spot and felt like good value for money.

The room and place was good. The room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. The continental breakfast was placed in the room when checked in and we could take it at our convenience.

We did not receive full and clear information on how to check into our room and knew only our room number. So we had to ask the owner only when we arrived.

Great location for visiting the Waitomo Caves and closes to a supermarket. The kiwi sanctuary in town is also very nice to visit! Breakfast was provided in the room and there was also a microwave.

The beds were really uncomfortable.

This property had a very nice and friendly host. The location was beautiful and quiet. The unit was very clean and modern, well equipped and maintained. I would highly recommend this property.

The unit had very little floor space for 2x people and nowhere to store suitcases, or pack anything away. The kitchen corner shelf was very small to work with, but manageable. The bathroom was beautiful.

We had a great stay here. Room just as pics, very comfortable. Breakfast provided in room was very convenient - choice of cereals, toast, fruit, yogurt, juice, tea and coffee! Our host was lovely and kindly dropped us at our pick up location for kiwi experience! We would recommend a stay here :)

Really nice accomodation. Very clean, tidy and everything you need for a refreshing break. Comfortable bed and great bathroom and shower. Exceptional continental breakfast included.Country outlook with beautiful gardens! Nice welcome from host and good communication. Close onsite parking.

Property was clean and the bathroom is beautiful! Pam had the heater on for our arrival which was a lovely touch. Electric blankets, extra quilt and blankets ensured a warm stay during winter. Breakfast was really good, with a selection of porridge, cereals, toast, yoghurts and juice. Very happy with our stay.
