The size of the accommodation was good. It was clean and warm with the air pump. Another TV in the separate room was a welcome surprise. It contained all the necessary kitchen utensils, pots, microwave, fridge etc. The bathroom held nice extras helpful for travellers, there were a good number of towels, the shower worked well. The bed linen was clean, and the double bed was a good size for 2 adults. The outside seating was appreciated. We arrived late, and appreciated the message from staff about the time the office would be closed. Thankfully we got there ahead of time, and was received efficiently. Our group was tired from travelling all day, and we appreciated the efficiency of staff.

There was only 1 thing that could have been better. The room with the 2 single beds were not big enough for 2 adult men; 1 was an elderly man aged 90 and the other was a 65yo with a heart and respiratory condition. A king single would have been more comfortable and a better restful night after a long day. I recommend you consider this when receiving bookings from 4 adults. In saying all of this, I should have communicated our needs more clearly, and possibly these changes to the room would have been considered. I would like to hear their feedback about this. Flexibility and wanting to give customers a good experience is what I expect.

Was really pleasantly surprised by this one, the room looked quite modern & fresh. Clean & comfortable, so much space and everything I needed in the kitchen. Bed was very comfortable, and room was super warm. The person that checked me in was very helpful and friendly. Place is located across the road from a decent cafe with good coffee, which was very handy. And there is an interesting toy shop just next door.

The TV was quite hard to use. Didn't manage to work that out.

Much cheaper than most local alternatives. Convenient for visiting Waitomo Caves or if on a road trip. The room was very clean, even smelled clean, when we arrived. It had everything needed and as advertised. Had no problems with noise in the night from the road or rail line. Had a decent pizza from the local shop. The man on reception was friendly and helpful. Beds were comfy, shower was decent. TV was a step up - we logged into Amazon Prime but Netflix is provided free and they had Sky Sports.

Look it is not exactly beautiful. The fixtures are a little tired, but it didn't affect functionality. The fridge was quite noisy and probably needs replacing.

The reception staff were very helpful and welcoming. My room was spacious, very well set up, and mine had a large balcony overlooking a creek. Very comfortable bed, which was very welcome after a long drive. Helpful hints: the motel is at the northern end of town so a bit of a walk from the main shops and supermarket, Te Kuiti is on the main trunk line, so be aware there are a few trains passing through from time to time, it would be a nice place to stay for a few days to explore the area.

The staff were very friendly and helpful from the time we arrived and during our stay. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Location was close to shops and a short drive to the glow worm caves.

The main road is right beside the motel so when trucks went past the room literally shook. Might have been because it was the unit closest to the road. The 'double' beds were really 2 singles pushed together, but were comfortable.

Waitomo is a motor lodge and has no breakfast facility, however Bosco Cafe across the road was very good. I would describe Waitomo as more up scale rustic as motor lodges go. The room is large and spacious and includes nice skin care products. The staff was very nice and asked if we required additional items. Paid laundry on the premises was great.

The property is wedged between a main road and rail line so may be a bit noisy if you are sensitive to such things. It did not bother us much. The area is a mix of commercial and industrial. There is not much to do in the immediate area. Having a car was essential.

Like a home away from home awesome staff management amazing comfortable rooms, this is my go to place in Te Kuiti 😀 guaranteed cleanliness and security, A+ to the management, from having carpark at my door to getting free chocolates and water at the booking office. Walking into a bathroom with everything you need to shower or bath in, it's beautiful and clean with luxurious towels. The bed is huge and wonderfully comfortable. Liked the studio style and price was good enough for what I needed. Nothing can compare.

Customer service is 5STAR, totally amazing!! I requested transport from my destination to the Lodge, (not knowing where it was, it was like 5metres from where I was, lol) but Sam came to pick us up. Then my cousin wanted an upgrade, Sam provided the upgrade immediately! Great man Sam! The studio was impeccable, clean, well presented and beds beautifully soft & comfortable. I would highly recommend this Lodge's accommodation!! 5 STAR!!

There was nothing to not like.. The service was efficient, friendly & welcoming. The staff - Sam - is an amazing Manager who is ready to respond to your requests with the utmost efficiency.

Clean. Comfortable beds. Hot shower. Free parking. Good communication with staff on booking.com app (didn’t actually see anyone face to face). Just what we needed for an overnight stay before short drive to waitomo caves/black water rafting next morning.

Might bother some - Few moths had manage to find there way in. Insect spray also provided in room!

Great place to stay. Very clean and friendly staff. Great to be able tap in to Netflix etc too. Choccies and water a nice touch at check-in.

The room was really good value for money but just have a couple of small things that didn't ruin the stay for us, but something that might be done a bit better. The room description said dinning table and chairs. Was missing from our room. It didn't bother us as we were only there one night, but if staying longer would've been nice to have one. Also, I'm not keen on doing dishes in the bathroom sink, so jusr left them for the cleaner to wash. Otherwise everything else was good.
