I was soothed by the hot pool. Which is what is needed after a long drive. We then went into the cool pool and back again. We sat in the evening sun. We also had another dip before traveling up to Auckland We were on a quick stop over so facility's provided all we needed. I think the animal farm entertaining if you have young ones.

Kitchen was lacking cups and glasses. We had none with us. So we then had to get some (paper) from supermarket. So we were then able to have a Gin and Tonic. And coffee in the morning. We did not eat at your place. More seating at pool area needed.

As a group, we planned to visit Mt.Ruapehu to tour around the snow mountains. We looked for a motel not too far away , to stop over and rest for the night, so we could start off early the next morning. Nestled in a quiet neighbourhood, on the outskirts of Turangi & Tokaanu, Oasis Motels & Holiday Park was very comfortable and beyond our expectations. We booked their Family Suite, which was spacious enough to accommodate the 4 of us. The staff at the front desk greeted us with a smile and patiently waited until our arrival. He guided well about the facilities in the resort. Everything was well kept and the kitchen had the essential cutlery & crockery to cook meals. To our surprise, they had hot pools ( Private as well) with 24hr access and it was a soothing experience to take a dip in the mineral rich water amidst the freezing weather 😁 We stayed past nearly an hour after our check-out time, but the staff were extremely polite and friendly and waited patiently until we could pack up our bags. We just had a tiny bit of a delay, because the induction stove heated slowly while preparing our food, other than that we didn’t have any issues with our stay. Overall we had a really pleasant and enjoyable time at Oasis and would definitely recommend this to our friends and family!!! :)))

Even though we arrived ½ after the office closed we were met at the gate and introduced to ‘Tiger’ - the cat. Lovely staff advised having a hot pot (mineral) and cold pool (chlorine) before sleep and they were right! Very relaxing after a pretty stressful drive in the rain. We took advantage of the ‘cost effective’ accomodation (shared bathroom & kitchen) and if you’re not too picky, these are more than adequate. If you don’t value quaint, spend more ; )

It's a hidden Gem of Natural Geo Thermal Spa Baths and a pool to cool down in....the managers are friendly, kind, welcoming Meals on site what a bonus and even have the option of using Barbecue. Communal Kitchen Facilities. If you want to relax and feel like your in the middle of a forest with Geo Thermal Baths i highly recommend Oasis Hotel! An animal farm for the kiddies. All in one area! Value for your.money!!!! We will return.

There was nothing negative to say!

The staff were very friendly and we were greeted in Te Reo Māori (Kia Ora) we had originally booked seperate rooms (online) when we arrived to the motel the staff offered us the family room a saving of $80. There's lots to do to keep the children entertained, 24hr thermal private and public pool outdoor pool along with the animals you can feed and a playground for the kids, was a hit too.

Thermal pool was so great, really surprised at how hot and relaxing it was. Loved how the hotel was really close to all the hikes in tongariro and things in turangi as well. Their insanely fat cat Ricky baker was hilarious and totally improved the place too.

The place is a little dated, but if anything it gives it a bit more charm. You can kinda tell the pools used to be larger.

Jo and Mark were excellent hosts and nothing was a problem. The facilities were fantastic like the thermal pools, the bbq area, the childrens play ground and the farm animals which our children loved. The restaurant had a pool table and ping pong table. And being able to use the restaurant for our family dinner was a bonus. The Oasis was the perfect venue for our family gathering. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We are very grateful to Jo and Mark for making our stay a successful occasion. We will definitely be back.

The room was warm the bed very comfortable. The TV had the olympics viewing. The room was just as described and our late arrival was greatly appreciated as it was dealt with excellently.

The middle geo thermal pool had very cold water entering but we swapped to another and that was good

Great place to stay when looking for somewhere just outside of town at reasonable rates. Bonus features were the animals that were kept on site, including horses, peacocks, and a very friendly donkey called Ernie. There were other animals as well. The 24-hour access to the 3 geothermal pools was a bonus.

We used this as our base for our Alpine crossing hike. It was close to the car park (~20mins). And very convenient to the town and shopping. Having the thermal pools to soak in after the hike was an absolute treat.. the host, Jo is wonderful and could not have been nicer.
