Our room was a perfect retreat—immaculately clean, private, and wonderfully cozy, keeping the winter chill at bay. The absolute star of our stay was the hot tub—an incredible haven of relaxation! Soaking in the warm, bubbling water under a crystal-clear night sky was pure magic. We were mesmerized, gazing at a blanket of stars and even spotting shooting stars streaking across the heavens. The hot tub’s perfect temperature and soothing jets made it an indulgent escape, turning a cold evening into a dreamy, starlit experience we’ll never forget. The bed was equally inviting, ensuring a deep and restful sleep. Breakfast was a delightful start to our day—muesli, creamy yogurt, fresh fruit, toast, and orange juice, all thoughtfully prepared to fuel us for the frosty morning ahead. I’ve had mixed experiences with BnBs and, before Moe Marie, I had basically sworn off private rentals. This apartment FAR surpassed all my expectations, my only disappointment is that I didn’t book to stay longer. The room was immaculately clean, easy to access, very private and comfortable. The small touches like beautiful garden decor, the binder with local recommendations, and luxurious towel warmer made it truly a home-away-from-home. Next time I’m in NZ Moe Marie will certainly be on my itinerary (and definitely for more than one night).

Cons: * Outdoor Cooking Challenges: The outdoor sink and lack of proper shelter made cooking on the BBQ a bit difficult in rainy weather. * Spotty Wi-Fi: While not a major issue, the Wi-Fi could be a bit unreliable at times.

This was one of our favorite stays in New Zealand, Allan was such a nice host and made us feel very well looked after and gave us plenty of great recommendation about the activities we can do as well as the best places to eat. The cedar hot tub was amazing after we did the Tongariro Alpine Crossing, the best way to end a very long but beautiful hike. The room was very nice and clean and made us feel like home. If we come back to Turangi we'll definitely stay here again.

Everything is perfect. Greeted by Lynn on arrival who explained everything to us. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean, generous breakfast options and a very quiet area, easy to find. The hot tub was very welcome after the Tongariro Alpine Crossing hike, as was the use of a bbq to grill some steaks and sweet corn for an easy night-in. We could easily have stayed longer and strongly recommend this fabulous place, thanks Lynn.

A really lovely place, so comfortable and an ideal location for Tongario Alpine Crossing. The hosts were amazing, super friendly and gave great advice on the crossing and weather conditions. The hot tub out the back is the cherry on top! We stayed in a lot of places travelling through New Zealand and this one was our favourite! I'd absolutely recommend it to anyone!

Super comfy bed and bedding. Fantastic bread and heaps of brekky supplies. Great hot shower. Absolutely everything you could want in the room. Lyn and Allen were lovely, even launching a 'search party' when we were late arriving home - Allen found us safe, at the Tavern :) Hot tub is a very attractive bonus we made good use of.

Signage is a bit tricky to see from the road. Its up the back.

A perfect place to stay and unwind Clean and well presented. Modern with small touches. Instructions on arrival were detailed and easily understood. Hot tub was very Welcoming after a long drive! Had everything we needed and more. Allan and lynn were perfect hosts. Happy to help and convivial!

This was such a beautiful oasis, we loved everything about Moe Marie. It was a very relaxing place to stay. Welcoming host, spotlessly clean, amazing cedar hot tub, beautiful garden, covered outside deck and very generous breakfast provisions.

I loved it was all private area own baghroom even had a spa we were able to use which was also private and came with water already to use. Also came with a complimentary breakfast which my partner and I enjoyed on our morning with the coffee provided .
