Exceptional views over the lake and of the stunning native gardens. Lots of bird life to watch. The room had plenty of space for our family of 4 (two young kids) and the kitchen had everything we needed. Great restaurant, we had a very good meal there. Beautiful clean indoor pool.

We stayed in the peak of summer so it was very hot at night in the bedrooms. The living area has air con but it doesn’t make it to the rooms. I would recommend bringing a fan (or having some on site for people to use if needed).

Both leather couches had lost their support, so were not comfortable to sit on. The meal I had, prawn pasta, was a disaster, it was totally awash in it's own juices and had been spilt at some stage, due I expect to the temperature of the juices. Too hot to eat. I had never had that particular meal before and thought I'd try it, never again. Other than that, everything was fine. My wife had the fish and said it was outstanding.

We loved the apartment and the size of it as well as all the amenities inside. The decking was great and view over the lake amazing with lovely sunrise views as well. A lovely place for a rest and walks. The unit is self contained so bring supplies when you come and enjoy breakfast on the deck watching the sunrise. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

We were just unlucky that we stayed on a night the restaurant wasn't open and the pool also not open in winter.

Our stay at Oreti Village Resort was a picturesque retreat, perfectly aligning with our love for skiing. The premier apartment number 1 not only pampered us with stunning lake views directly from our windows but also provided a cozy, well-maintained haven after thrilling days on the slopes. The shaded carport for two and the convenience of on-site EV charging were thoughtful touches that enhanced our experience.

It’s challenging to find a flaw when your expectations are met so beautifully. Perhaps the only downside is that each stay eventually comes to an end!

The location by the lake is just beautiful. We have great views from the room and it was very nice to have balcony facing the lake. In room laundry was a big plus as well. We ate at the on-site restaurant (researvation recommended), and it was very good food at a nice romantic setting, with great lake views as well. Other dinning options are about 15 minutes away, there are many great options. Another plus is that it is closer to the Tongariro Alpine Crossing than from the city of Taupo, therefore we save having to get up super early in order to start our 8-hr hike at 7am.

The furniture is quite out-dated. Carpet looks old as well. The bathrooms are updated but with fairly inexpensive material.

The property overlooks beautiful Lake Taupo. It is very clean very spacious and quiet. We loved waking up in the morning listening to the birds and the view was magnificent. It is about 45 mins from Taupo so it’s not to far, the township of Turangi is only a 10 min drive which has a supermarket, takeaway and petrol station. It is so relaxing and calming! We would definitely stay here again. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The apartment was very spacious with 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms, the beds were very comfortable with electric blankets which is a must in winter! Loved it.

Wonderful, 180 degree view overlooking the lake from room’s deck. Well done plantings/ landscaping on grounds. Very peacefully hanging out on deck. Our 11b unit was fairly large, apartment size. 2 bedrooms/2 baths, open living/kitchen area and large deck. Nice Public, neighborhood beach a short drive down the hill from the property. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Accommodated a late 10 PM check in.

All good. Didn’t check out pool or tennis court. The restaurant not open Monday or Tuesday—the evenings of our stay. Staff suggested alternatives in town. Dinner at The Bridge was pretty decent—better than expected.

Loved the view, absolutely stunning! Walk down to the lake was pleasant, comfortable stay, staff lovely.

Unfortunately someone was above us so we could hear footsteps, noise in general which made it very hard to sleep. It was so peaceful until other people arrived, yet there seem to be vacant units, so was disappointed they put someone above us. Needs some maintenance, kitchen door knobs loose, dirty dishes left in dishwasher from previous people.

Beautiful location. Great accommodation with everything you need to make it feel like home. Nice and clean. Will definitely be back.

There were a few maintenance issues but it didn’t affect our stay. One thing that would have been nice is the heater being turned on prior to arrival as our room was freezing when we got there, other than that it was great.

Great self catering apartment in a beautiful location with views of lake Taupo. The apartment was fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine etc - everything one could reasonably need. There’s also an excellent restaurant (much better than those I found in nearby Turangi).

The bedroom would benefit from a bedside table or shelf to put things like a phone on.
