Great location, great breakfast (lots of choice and good quality). The room was large but old and needs to be refurbished (which will apparently happen soon). The hairdryer in the room was not working, but the staff member at the check-in desk gave me another one. The gym is decently furnished for a nice workout.

Access to the spa would be a great addition for the price of the room. I wish information about access to the gym and spa (and price) was given at check-in, but if you ask, they give you the information.

Our stay at the Quality Hotel Strand Gjøvik was pleasant overall. The room size was adequate, providing enough space for our family to feel comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, which added to the positive experience. Parking was conveniently close to the hotel and reasonably priced. Additionally, the hotel's location is excellent, being near Kiwi and several restaurants, making it easy to find good dining options nearby.

However, there was a significant downside. The loud sound of birds outside disrupted our children's sleep, which was quite frustrating. Despite this, the hotel's many positives make it a decent choice for a stay in Gjøvik, though earplugs might be a good idea for light sleepers.

The location of the hotel is great and it is in a walking distance to the center and the main station. The room was very nice and cozy and the staffs were friendly. The breakfast is very good and with a wide range of choices.

The swiming pool is not free as it is stated in the facilities page of the booking.

The hotel is in a great location in the center of Gjovik just a minute from the main road and 3 minutes from the main mall The staff was so kind i have never met such a great team, they really care about you to have everything and feel good always smiling, kind and helpfull , speaks great english! the room is very equipped and was very large , we got a great view and big balcony. The rooftop is very nice and the food there is delicious! Also the breakfast was very good and fresh. 24/7 reception service. we didnt had time to try the spa.

I was unfortunate to be booked in a room that didn't meet my expectations when it comes to the view outside, so fact that the receptionist was very accommodating and switched my room so that I got a better one was a really nice experience.

The aforementioned view in the first room I was booked in. My "view" was a corner roof and windows with sight into the kiosk.

Glass on floor of restaurant that my dog tried to eat. Was worried that he may have eaten some already. Worried all day but thankfully he was fine. Dog owners need to check the floor in the restaurant area before sitting down for breakfast.

Great Location short walk from the Train and Bus Stations, Short walk to the Lake and Gjovik town center, Great Breakfast and really friendly Staff

Good selection for breakfast. The room was very clean. Friendly staff. Easy access to the train station, bus stops & harbor for further exploring the area.

The lake view from the room was more like view to the train station rather. The hotel restaurant was closed for 5 days during the Easter holidays.

Fantastic breakfast and super comfortable beds and sheets. Everything i could want and need in walking distance. Very helpful staff.

Glassdoor between toilet and bed had a big gap from the wall, so its a good thing me and my partner are very comfortable with eachother. There was also a stain on the mattress, but not the top one, so it was kind of fine i guess.
