Lovely location on the shore of the Hardangerfjord. Partial view from our room. Vast gardens with decks and furnitures. Large parking. Excellent breakfast and dinner too. Good value for money.

The main entrance door malfunctioned one afternoon, and we had to go all the way around the garden to come in from the back door.

Our expectations were clearly exceeded! We loved the location of the hotel right on the coast and the great view of the fjord. The employees were extremely friendly and the modern style of the hotel still seemed very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay with a great breakfast buffet and an excellent dinner.

The balkonies are very close to each other. So if your neighbor smokes on the balkony (what is allow of course) the own room smells like a cigarette, if you keep your door open. This is not so easy to handle.

The breakfast was the highlight of our stay - good tasty food and lovely staff. The rooms are wonderful with really comfortable bed. Also the nature around the place is magnificent which makes the stay really good.

It was adveryised that hotel guests could use swimming pool but it came out that it is paid separately which was kind of a downer. Also the working times are strange - opens at 11 o'clock, having in mind that breakfast is from 8 to 10 and also check out is at 11. So this is not really a perk.

Great views, fantastic location, booked a room with the views and was very happy to enjoy the balcony. The hotel parking has a charger for the electric car, the grocery shop just across the street. The pool and sauna were absolutely great. Just keep in mind that it has unusual working hours (it doesn’t belong to hotel but it just next door), for the hotel guests they provide discount so it was only 79 NOK per person + 10 NOK to rent a towel if you need. Breakfast was various and good.

The location was great - we had a room with sea view where you could see the fjord, the snowy mountains and a river on the side too. Great balcony view! We had a rented car and that was helpful because we could make it to Bergen in about 2 hours and we were also about 2 hours away from Flam as well (boat trip and train trip were super and highly recommended). There's also a supermarket just across the street from the hotel. Breakfast had a lot of options including omelette, eggs, sausage, ham, various types of cereal, (amazing) jams and coffee, tea and juices. The options changed daily (we stayed 3 days and there were differences in the food like fried eggs with bacon instead of omelette etc). We also liked the hotel staff, they were super nice and accommodated all our needs as best as they could and we saw at the reception at least three different people.

There is a pool that we were told is running til 9PM in the evening, but when we got there we found out you actually have to be out of the water at 20:30 and it was like that every day. It would have been nice to know ahead because we drove all day and we're looking forward to getting in the pool between 8 and 9 PM, but then we found out we had half time on it. Also, depending on how comfortable you are, prepare to see some naked people in the changing room as everyone showers together and there's no way to avoid it on your way out of the pool or towards the pool.

The hotel has several good points, including hotel is quiet and clean, location is convenient, shower water is strong enough, breakfast and dinner are fine, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Especially the view from the hotel to see the Hardangerfjord is so near and beautiful.

The view from the hotel was spectacular. It was a quick and easy drive to Nordheimsund, which is where many tours take off. Like many other hotels in Norway, there is a wide and excellent selection for breakfast. Something for everyone. We had to leave earlier on our final morning before the start of breakfast but they had everything set out for us to self-serve. The restaurant was delicious but a bit pricey. This is typical of Norway, however. The pool at the connecting sports facility was convenient and fun.

Be mindful that when traveling during a holiday (it was Easter while we were in Hardangerfjord) that many places are closed. There was not a single grocery story open. The fitness center was attached to the pool facility so I wasn't able to use it in the morning, as the pool had not yet opened.

Ample Hotel parking spaces. Clean. Comfortable. Triple share was a little crowded but manageable. Supermarket across the road opposite of the hotel. Breakfast was delicious esp the soft boiled eggs. Free Americano from the coffee machine.

Good location. Good breakfast. Liked that there was a bathtub and a shelf in the bathroom to put stuff.

Bed a bit soft but I slept well. Good soundproofing. Would have liked an espresso machine at breakfast. No swimming pool but a reduced price to go to the neighboring hardangerbadet
