We absolutely loved the location — the view looking out over green grass and blooming daffodils, with water and snow-capped mountains in the distance, was truly memorable. The atmosphere was peaceful and the scenery added so much to our stay. We also really appreciated the hotel's baggage room, which was very helpful as we arrived early and departed late.

A few small points for improvement: the shower tended to make the bathroom quite wet — better drainage and a more absorbent bath mat would be helpful. We also rearranged the bed layout ourselves to form one double bed, which suited us better. Lastly, the dishwasher wasn't really necessary for our short stay - this space could potentially be better utilised as extra countertop space.

We had a room with the lake view which was wonderful and worth the extra. easy check in via the hotel which is just by the train station so easy as we came by train. Basic accommodation but clean and functional and had all we needed. Shower hot and strong and as long as you closed the shower door tightly absolutely no problems with water flooding out which has been mentioned in other reviews. Plenty of space for the two of us. We where there at a time when it was quite with few other rooms occupied.

Right next to the train station so handy to get the train. Was the most economical option close to the train at last minute. Huge room with two single beds, comfortable sofa (and maybe a sofa bed?) and kitchenette. Verandah looking straight into the lake. Just beautiful!

Check in procedure wasn’t clear. I went to the motel and there was no office. Turns out it is part of the big hotel across the road and I had to go there to check in. I didn’t seems to get this information.

The hotel is like renting a historical family hotel room. The facilities are old and beautiful. The view and location are superb. I stayed in a cabin type room across the street along the lake below the main hotel. It had a back door to a little porch with a table and two chairs. There is a big stretch of grass perfect for your pet. (Too bad I didn't have a frisbee.)The flowers along the lake path were all in bloom. Follow the path to the city of Voss.

The lake view is stunning and so peaceful. Almost like a private lake view.

The motel room is a bit old and worn out and the bed mattress was very hard but the view and the location made up for everything. It’s perfect for 1-2 night stay, would have had a problem with the mattress if I stayed longer. I had low expectations and made peace with the price before I arrive that’s why I wasn’t disappointed.

My main reason to book this motel is its location, a 5 mins walk from Voss train station. Room is spacious. Note that check-in is at nearby Fleischer's Hotel. I can leave my luggage at hotel after checkout from the motel.

The room layout is not ideal, with 2 single beds against 2 sides of the wall and the TV location not suitable for viewing from the beds.

We were booked into the motel but when we checked in which is via the hotel receprion we were told that we had been upgraded to the hotel as they had overbooked the motel. WOW, WOW, WOW what a beautiful hotel, very grand and the furnishings are unbelievable. So much history, if you do stay in the motel make sure you visit the hotel and look at all the rooms on the ground floor. We were so happy had a front room overlooking the lake. Thanks so much for the upgrade.

The receptionist was wonderful, she changed our room for us and let us leave our bags in the morning until we caught the train. The room was a very comfortable large studio apartment complete with full kitchen. The best was the outside covered patio with lake views, we sat outside more than inside. Free parking available but we used the train. Location is next to the gondola and good walking distance to downtown.

The booking directions did not say that you had to go to the big Fleischer Hotel to register for this small Fleischer Motel first. We walked all over the motel grounds to look for an office which there is nothing saying how to check in. They should have a sign posted and Booking.com should have instructions in their description.

The beds were really comfy and there was a good size living space. The room was in good condition and incredibly clean. Suited our needs and fabulous value for money. We really enjoyed the outside space too.

The sofa was quite uncomfortable and it would have been helpful to have a few more items for cooking in the kitchen.

Location is close to station. Found the beds comfortable. Good size space. Great price.

Although tired and requires updating, the property suited our needs. Limited kitchen equipment but we managed fine. Didn't realise there was lift access to reception until after struggling with cases up the metal stairs.
