This is second time coming back here and was just as great as the first time. Brilliant beginner family resort, the ski in / ski out is great. All the routes come back to the hotel so for older kids it’s great they can go off on their own and know where they are and meet back at the lift. Staff are friendly and happy to help, food in both restaurants is great. As is the coffee shop and cafes up and down the slope. Rooms were clean, everything you need. Had a problem with the hot water first day but quickly sorted by reception staff Brilliant addition to the hotel is the darts and bowling, had loads of fun with friends in the evenings. We went with friends who were beginners and even had lessons and they enjoyed all of it.. even with the snow disappearing quickly. They did a brilliant job at managing the snow and the pistes when the snow was melting at the bottom to keep the routes open.

The food and restaurants are great but if you are looking for something more in the evening the location is quite remote. The rooms were quite warm which wouldn’t be a problem earlier in the season but as it warmed it we ended up sleeping with the balcony door open at night, we had 4 rooms over our group and everyone had the same issue. Even though there was a thermostat in the room it didn’t go below 20 degrees

Good Service, excellent food and free coffee all day long. In between two slopes, short brake with coffee and warming the hands, perfect.

A pool or wellness spa would perfectly finish it!

The location is perfect, couldn't ask for me, the attention to detail could have been better: Free teas and coffee, never any milk The bar by the reception poorly staffed, waited 30 mins for someone to serve Fondu was delicious but no prices or menu Main restaurant, first night served the wrong dinner, New years eve served the wrong wine Beds were made but the rooms not cleaned As I say location is outstanding but the hotel draws on the fact they are the only hotel in the area

The close proximity to the slopes was incredible, the staff were all so lovely and welcoming, the view from the balcony was beautiful, the breakfast buffet was delicious and had a great variety and the restaurant served very yum meals. There was also a super fun bar across the road with darts and bowling which we really enjoyed (and delicious cocktails). Ski hire was also directly opposite the hotel. Loved our stay!

Position, at the base of the slopes. Service, over the average kind staff. Very good food. Safe ski storage.

The radiator in the room stops every cca. 3 hours, temp..falls to 19 degrees if not restarted manually from the control panel. Fair enough, but when it's very cold outside, had to wake up a couple of times over night, as to avoid waking up cold. Quite uncomfortable pillows. Fair enough beds.

The breakfast was excellent. The location was incredible. The hotel staff were attentive, friendly and professional. Hotel was very well presented, clean and comfortable.

Not being able to afford Full Board - so we could eat dinner in the hotel restaurant every night!

Location was fantastic! At the bottom of the slopes steped out of my skis and into the hotel just like in the alps. The hotel provided a free ski locker which was great. The staff also matched the location, they were always on hand and very helpful. Really enjoyed the area and this little ski slope :) Also ski hire and tour guides close by

Unlike the alps this resort was quite small and limited once off the slopes. There was a bar in the hotel and another opposite the hotel but Norway is expensive when it comes to extra curricula activities but that isn't the hotels fault. The hotel did miss out not having a spa or gym and the food options were limited with no room service

We used the hotel as a stopover en route to Bergen from Dovrefjell. Our arrival was significantly delayed by a rock fall closing the E16 and we had to take a very long detour. I emailed the hotel explaining how we could miss dinner as a result and they kindly offered to feed us regardless of how late we were. Fortunately, we arrived before the restaurant closed but their offer was very reassuring!

The area is a building site currently; not something the hotel can control!

Excellent hotel & location, ski in ski out. Lovely areas to sit around the bar/reception. Excellent breakfast.

A little confusing re bus system to get to the hotel - public & free bus from hotel - do check the timings, there is a later bus from Voss train station on a Friday but not other days of the week. No where to buy any provisions if you want anything other than food from their own restaurants. Nearest shops in Voss which is 30/40 minutes away. A good supermarket style shop would be nice.
