The staff were lovely amd the room was comfortable. The breakfast was also great.

A bit noisy as the walls are thin.

Lovely, large hotel in the heart of Flam, steps from the train station and other attractions. Clean and comfortable, with good facilities including coffee-maker and fridge in the room, a balcony with a beautiful view overlooking the fjord, and a large luggage storage room where we were able to leave our bags after check-out and walk around freely until our train left. Good plentiful breakfast, also in a room with a nice view. We also highly recommend the Flam Rent-A-Car service run by Rune, who delivered a reasonably-priced car right to the hotel for us, best rental car experience ever!

Friendly staff. Breakfast was good, lot of options and allergens well marked. Balcony was nice with the fjord view. Room was nice and warm. Check-in was flexible and there was a room to leave luggage after check-out for the day. Limited options for restaurants for dinner time in Flåm but we had pre-booked a table so it was no issue for us. Quiet area in the morning and evening.

Room was quite standard and quite small for three adult as expected, but it was ok for 1 night. Beds little bit too soft for us. Somethings were missing from the room for the third person but was arranged quickly when I mentioned it about. Sound insulation between rooms were not the best or the baby next door was crying super loud in the morning. There was no shower curtain or towel on the shower corner floor so whole bathroom was wet after shower. Underfloor heating was drying the wet floor quickly.

A characteristic property in an excellent location on the edge of the fjord. We looked out over the mountains and the river. I’d choose a room that side every time as a mighty cruise ship blocks out everything for the fjord view guests from 8am to 7pm 250 days a year or so! Close to every amenity, the information centre, the fjord trips, the train , the restaurants and even a good micro brewery right next door! The staff were mostly smiley and friendly were great keeping your luggage both before and after check in and check out. Much appreciated.

Great location, wonderful breakfast, very professional and helpful staff. This is not a luxurious hotel, however, it is comfortable, clean and offers everything you need. The location is close to the Ferry terminal and train station. Our Ferry didn't leave until 3:00 pm, they offered a large storage room for luggage with a table and outlets to charge your phone.

We liked everything. The hotel is part of a complex that has a bakery, restaurant, grocery stores, gift shops and stores, kiosks serving hotdogs, deer meat etc.

We travelled to Aurland to get married along the Fjords. We stayed at this hotel for three nights. We stayed in a deluxe double room with a big balcony. The room was spacious, comfortable, homely and warm. It was also very clean and had a small fridge, we loved to throw our snacks in it. They had loads of breakfast options which was great for me, as a vegetarian its difficult sometimes to find what you need. If we ever travel back here in the future this is where we hope to stay. I'd say it's great value for money and recommend it to anyone travelling in the area. We stayed at two four star hotels in Bergen on our travels and none compared to this. The staff were very kind at the hotel, the cleaners were nice and thorough, the reception staff were welcoming and very helpful with my wedding dress. The hotel and surrounding area is like a small touristy village, with the restaurant, cafe, visiting area etc all separate buildings.

Well located and comfortable hotel for an overnight stay in Flam as it is just a short walk to everywhere, especially the train station. Was lucky enough to be able to enjoy the views of the fjord from the balcony. The walking paths were super slippery the night I was there so I was grateful for the Viking themed pub next door and the food was delicious. Good variety of choices are available for breakfast.

The temperature of room was centrally managed and it was quite hot with no way to control the heat, I had all the windows wide open all night. It seems that everyone had the same problem as I hear the conversation during breakfast the next morning.

This hotel was incredible. Great view and very delicious breakfast. In addition, they did communicate about dinner plans for the Aegir brewery which made our 1-night stay in town very easy. We had two balconies to enjoy the view of Flam and the fjord. The rooms were well-appointed and very cozy. We did arrive before our check in time and they have a great luggage room where we stored our things while we explore the village and had lunch.

There were some bright lights outside on the promenade. However, the hotel did have heavy curtains to keep the room dark for sleeping.

Decent breakfast, not quite as good as some of the other buffet breakfasts we've had in Scandinavia but serviceable enough. Beds were cozy, everything is close by and our room was ready slightly early so we were allowed to check in straight away.

Had requested a quiet room but was instead placed right next to a creaky stair way so could hear every first leaving and returning (since the part of the hotel we stayed in was a separate building with no lift)

Flam is basically a tourist stop for the Fjord cruises and train ( marvellous both) and pretty much closes up at night. The hotel is right in the middle of it. The room was very comfortable and well appointed with clean shower. Came with a small balcony that you could sit by with Fjord view. Perfectly pleasant.breakfast was good with usuaul selections. Useful asthere werent many places open nearby.

Advise on dinner reservations. In off season, only 1 establishment ( Aegir brew pub) is open so if you did not make a reservation, you might not get a place to eat. In all fairness, they try to accommodate all walkins and the manager did a miraculous job doing it. Kudos to him!
