My family of four had a wonderful stay at the apartment for three nights. It sits at the end of the village with breathtaking panoramic view of the fjord. The owner lives nearby and was very responsive to our questions and requests. I also liked the washer and dryer to do some mid-vacation laundry work. The village of Undredal is serenely beautiful. We feel so lucky to have found this place, it is definitely a highlight of our trip to Norway.

The shower enclosure can be better in the bathroom. It is not done in the most proper way so when the water runs high it is easy to spill out onto the bathroom floor.

Serene quite neighbourhood. Really the last house in Undredal under the mountains and beyond it is just wilderness. The village center, restaurant, basic supermarket, church - all in walking distance. Very spacious, clean and oh, what a view. Sitting in the balcony and sipping our coffee with the view every morning was a delight.

Nothing really. Parking can be a bit tough for the uninitiated- but for any regular driver- not a problem but not straight forward. Some construction in the neighbourhood which restricted vehicle movement but for luggage in/out the owners helped graciously so wasn’t an issue for us at all.

This is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Norway without the crowds. The accommodation is right on the Fiord, is easy to get to, has accessible parking and is very comfortable. The heating is good and makes it cosy. The washing machine is a bonus for a holiday and clothes dried easily ( no dryer). Cooking is easy with a decent equipped kitchen though a bigger frypan would be useful. There is a good restaurant in Undredal that also provides kayaks and a sauna to rent. This is a peaceful haven and we are so happy we stayed. The drive to Flam is easy to catch the fiord cruise and train.

We loved our stay at Visit Undredal! The views are what makes this place amazing, you’re right on the fjord! The apartment itself could use a renovation but it’s very clean and comfortable, like going to a grandparent’s house. There is a sauna as well. You do need to rent a car to be able to explore because there’s no taxis. However the very nice owner of the property can take you to Flåm for a reasonable fee and he’s so great! We wished we had stayed longer and highly recommend it!

The views, the living room overlooking the fjord, breakfast in the porch overlooking the fjords, it’s about being right there in nature.

The location of the apartment was amazing, right on the Fjord, with excellent view. The apartment was extremely comfortable, lavish in space and facilities. The host was very helpful and since he was staying nearby he would come if there was a need. He helped us in charing our electric car at very economical price at his property.

The property was slightly difficult to find as the google location would not take us right up to the property, and we had to call the Host and he did help us out. There is hardly any grocery shops near by. The location is about 15-20 drive away from Flam, so it's not proper Flam, but is quite good.

We stayed in appartement 1, top floor. The house was very comfortable and had everything you need. Large fridge and freezer, an easy-to-use washing machine (and some washing powder) and a sauna! The view is the best and is better than the smart TV 😃. There's 2 great couches in front of the window where I could sit for hours. There is always something to see in the fjords. The appartements are a little apart from the rest of the village (but still easy walking distance, maybe 3 or 4 minutes), wich is nice because it's very quiet. The road is a dead end so no traffic and little tourists coming or leaving the village. The village is very nice and has a nice store and a good restaurant. The village is all about the goats/cheese and you should try it for sure. The windows of the bedrooms have good curtains for sleeping. You can charge your car at the house at reasonable rates. Be sure to keep some cash aside to pay this at the end of your stay as transferring money to Norway is very expensive!

nothing... the only thing that could make this an 11 out of 10, would be a small 'pier' to jump straight in the fjord. When we were there, the waterlevel was a bit lower and there were a lot of rocks so this was a bit hard, especially for the kids (7 and 10). But coming from the sauna, you can also just take a cold shower off course. The phone numbers that are in the house information sheets are not correct but Leif Inge will send you the correct number.

The location was great for a peaceful vacation. We took a boat trip to the Viking Museum. The stop was literally a few minutes walk from our place. The host was very friendly and helpful. The house had a fabulous view over the fjord..We could also enjoy the sauna in the house after a long day, which was a great thing to do. The house was very clean and equipped with every necessary thing the traveller needs! Thank you to the hosts! We had a great stay!

Actually is none, there is only small comment about how to travel to the apartment. It's better to drive as the distance from the port to the apartment is hard for walking with baggages.

Unbeatable location at the edge of the Aurland fjord. A superb little cottage, warm and cozy. Loved the sauna, we used it three times during our five day stay. It was quirky and homely. The furniture or equipment might not have been the newest or most modern but who cares with views like that. There is a small shop in the village to which you can easily walk, they have everything you need. We weren't aware that most attraction close after the 15th of September but we wanted a quiet stay and got that. Be aware that there are two buildings consisting of two apartments each. One of the lower floor and one of the upper floor which is were we stayed. Comfy beds and heating in each room should it be needed. Underfloor heating in the bathroom which also has a washing machine. The only things which were missing were somewhere to hand wet clothing, there was not clothes horse or line except outdoors. We were not given an oven glove and only one tea towel. There are clear instruction regarding waste and recycling. My son went fishing several times, caught a couple of small fish and even a shark (all released unharmed). Access to the village is from the main Flam - Gudvangen road via a single track, in parts steep, road for about 7km. Watch out for the goats! I hope to return to that apartment again one day, we loved it. Relaxing and gorgeous, wish we could have stayed longer.

Tricky to find at first, luckily we bumped into the owner in the village who directed us. There is a very tight bend on the approach to the cottages, I learned to head straight and rather than turn, reverse to the cottage. No problem after that.

Beautiful Spot, Clean and well stocked. Overall a wonderful spot. All email requests pre-stay were promptly responded to.

It would have been nice to meet the owners in person. Doing everything via email and online is very impersonal, and choosing to stay at a place like this is a personal endeavor. Not a huge issue, just merely a comment. You need ice trays for the freezer. It would actually be a very nice touch if there were ice in the trays :). We were going to wash clothes, but there is no drier. Maybe the washer is also a drier?? None of these points are critical nor a deal-killer.
