The cottage was relatively clean and spacious, with a fully equipped kitchenette for self-catering. Well-working wifi, and possibility to park a car directly in front of the cottage. The campsite itself was well-organised, quiet at night (even if occasionally busy during daytime), and in a picturesque location, also making a convenient base for visiting a larger region. Very good communication, also prior to arrival, with the staff who are highly professional in accommodating even strange requests (e.g. to swap a coffee-maker for an electric kettle).

The facilities were rather old and thus occasionally broken (e.g. the kitchenette table). Nevertheless, the staff was responsive and eager to repair/replace them if needed.

The location is great, everything is in place. All the infrastructure like shops and petrol stations are close by. It’s a good place to stay with a camper or to book a house. There’s enough space for parking, and the lake is only a few meters from the house.

I booked a double bed, but we got two single beds pushed together, which is not the same as one double bed. The kitchen was good, however there was an issue with the hob — it was difficult to use several burners at once, for example to boil water and fry something at the same time, as it didn’t have full power. It would also be good to have a kettle.

Lovely spacious stand alone cabin on a camping ground with cabins and camper vans. Lovely area next to the Sognefjord. Perfect for 3 people. 2 single beds with lots of space in between the beds, which were comfortable and a comfortable sofa. Kitchen fairly well equipped. Different activities along the beach, even a sauna in a pod with flat stones laid down to get out into the water. We were only there for the night so didn’t get to try it though. Although they expect you to have washed the kitchen equipment and take out the rubbish (understandable), other cleaning is included in the price as is the bed linen and towels. 41 minutes from the Flåm railway. 9 minutes from the Lærdal tunnel and charging station for EV’s. (Ionity and Tesla). Also a great starting point for the scenic route over Aurlands mountain.

Very convenient location to Flåm. It’s just at one end of the most beautiful and longest tunnel to Flåm. Big entertaining park for kids. The host is nice. Gave use extra towels for the little kid without charge. We decided to checkout one day early and it’s agreed without any extra fee. Appreciate it!

The noise isolation of the motel is on the poor side. I constantly hear toilet flushing noise from next door and upstairs. However, I’m a light sleeper and my husband didn’t feel to be bothered by this.

Location was just next to a Fjord. Rooms were decent in size considering the country and the price. We stayed in the Motel. Checkin was across the street in another building where there is also a restaurant with pizza and some other things. Bathroom was sufficient. Groceries were a 10 min walk in the town center. The surroundings were quiet. Plenty of space to park your car. Huge shared kitchen and dining area ideal for those looking to cook their own meals. Cleanliness of rooms and the common spaces was good.

The beds were a bit soft, I like the mattresses a bit hard. The curtains could only partially block the light from outside. In summers its hard to get complete darkness in the room. Some shampoo in the shower would be good.

Accomodation available in the camping, wooden cabins or in the motel, we have stayed in the motel. Set in a beautiful location looking over the lake. Room and bathroom was clean, staff was kind and welcoming at reception. Motel was quiet, has well equipped shared kitchen on the ground floor. Place has a cute cat in residence who loves pets. :) Great value for money. Lots of outdoor activities available during summer time, these were not in use yet when we traveled in May.

It was a rainy day and after checking the negative comments we were a bit concerned. However, the apartment was great, clean, roomy, equipped and with nice views on the lake. The best part of our stance was the friendly and helpful receptionist who helped us with a medical emergency. She was utterly kind and supportive calling emergencies and giving us all support we needed in that moment. Wholeheartedly grateful.

Everything was in the right place.

Great location at the end of the fjord, at Norway's best wild salmon river. Nice village, even some live music. Fjord water was swimmable during the Scandinavian heat wave when we were there. Nice terrace at the cabin, with view of the yacht harbor.

The upstairs sleeping area in our cabin was very basic; no easy good way to arrange the beds due to the roof angle. No kayak rental available in the camp or the village.

We were in the motel part. The room was clean, furnished in a minimalist spartan style, but had enough space. The beds are too narrow and you can't allow yourself to turn around much if you don't want to end up on the ground. Very comfortable pillows and covers. There is a small table with two chairs in the room which worked well for us to eat in the evening. There is a shared well-equipped kitchen and great seating areas in the common areas with beautiful views outside. The bathroom has basic amenities but it's still good enough and comfortable.

Beautiful nature and views in surrounding. Nice location to take break and chill. Infrastructure was Ok, but if we would have booked the houses then it was better.
