These are modern buildings so quite utilitarian rather than quaint or historic. On the other hand, despite being close to the main road and town, it was super quiet. Many rooms have great views, some of the fjord and also of the apple orchard behind and between the accommodation blocks. There is lots of outdoor seating in the orchard area between the buildings. We booked with shared bathroom and for each group of four bedrooms, there were three showers and three toilets. The bedrooms and bathrooms were super clean despite being somewhat lacking in character. Breakfast had a limited choice selection but there was plenty available and the breakfast room has nice views of the fjord and town. Recommended.

Some variety in breakfast would be good. Curtain rail seemed about to collapse every time we touched it.

Very quiet room with good blackout curtains which was great for the summer sun. Good bathroom and spacious room with 2 single beds. Shared fridge with two other rooms right outside room and then another also in the shared kitchen. Shared kitchen reasonably well equipped and shared laundry was great. Breakfast is great if you like that being included.

Breakfast is automatically included (and whilst is good) does make the price a bit high, a non breakfast option would be great. Only a tiny freezer in shared kitchen that said only to be used for ice so no option for freezing food here. Limited parking near room that filled up quickly- was quite a walk and would be unpleasant in bad weather. Shared kitchen didn’t have any paper towel or tea towels or cloths so only option was for people to leave wet dishes in drying racks.

A good spacious room, comfortable bed and friendly staff that made us feel welcome upon arrival. Good basic breakfast with all of the essentials. Would happily stay here again.

The pillows were the only thing. They were too thin and ideally need replacing. I stuffed a spare bath towel into it to raise my head slightly, so they must have wondered when they came to clean the room the next morning!

The Internet was super, and the rooms had just what you needed. The B&B is located close to both nature and shopping possibilities which makes for a pleasant stay. Nice addition with breakfast.

The kitchen lacked necessities such as tea towels, soap and salt&peber and where small for how many stayed here. The breakfast supply was always a bit behind the demand.

Quiet and clean room with very nice beds. This place has an old school charm and the staff was super nice! Convenient place to stay for a couple of nights.

No vegan options at breakfast. The entrance door to our part of the building was super loud when not closed with the handle carefully. Some people left their litter all over the outside area :-/

The location was very nice; the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast included with good variety of food.

The kitchen was not big enough for all the people that was there. We arrived to cook at 9pm and it was crowded by families with few space for us and no clean dishes. Also I would like to have had more fruit variety in the breakfast.

It’s easy to access from the main road. The room itself had a beautiful view. The staff were lovely.

It’s difficult to use as a base, when travelling on public transport. Lots of places are quite far away. There was a bag of rubbish left on the balcony for a couple of hours after I arrived. It’s not very sociable.

The front desk staff were friendly. This is an on-campus dormitory with a peaceful and quiet environment. It has a parking lot and a kitchen available for use, making it very convenient. If you’re planning to hike to Nigardsbreen, it’s about an hour’s drive. It’s also easy to go shopping in the city.

good location in the entrance to Songdal - east access to Songdal and surrounding villages like Hafslo, Solvorn, Kaupanger, as well as nearby activities (glacier, hiking, ferries, kayaks). The property had everything we needed - kitchen and laundry facilities, EV charging on site, as well as clean rooms… plus board games available.

the breakfast was sufficient (pancakes were scrumptious), but a little limited with the same basic fare every day.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. The facilities were clean and spacious. Furniture was very basic but in good condition. The breakfast was good and the laundry facilities were a great plus. There was also a big green area with trees and sitting area we really enjoyed.

I wish there was a kettle or a desk in the room, but I have no complains.
