Good location beside fjord. Free parking and very close to the food shop. There is also restaurant in the first floor. We were in January and rooms were warm with possibility to change temperature, even these were Norwegian vintage radiators. There is bath in the bathroom, TV and coffeemaker in the rooms and WiFi all around. Relatively soft madrass. Pictures of the surrounding mountains and fjord on the walls. The breakfast was included in the price and good.

It is quite dark in the room. Suggestion is to make refreshment of the walls and ceilings in the rooms. If there will be just some people in the hotel (I do not know how many should be or maybe this is only in the wintertime), but then breakfast will be served, so, it means no chances to choose what you want to eat in the morning. Luckily we were from Saturday to Sunday with lots of guests.

The location on the shore front is stunning. The room was bright and clean, and reasonably spacious. Beds were comfortable and the TV allows for casting from your ipad/iphone. There's a "recharge" electric car charger nearby which will be handy for EV drivers. Staff were very friendly and quite keen to show off the hotel's history. On site restaurant is expensive, but absolutely delicious. There are cheaper options in the nearby town of Ovre Ardal. Checkin was very simple. I said my name, they gave me the key. Done!

There's no elevator, and carrying four pieces of heavy luggage to the 3rd floor takes a lot of effort. Room was very warm despite having all the heaters turned off and the temperature outside being 16 degrees. We slept with the windows open, but seagulls outside do have regular comedy club sessions.

The location of the hotel was surprisingly good. Very close to the food shop if does not want to eat at the restaurant. This was wintertime (february), så rooms were warm. Ok, old style radiators, but works good. Also bath in the bathroom. We came late and left early, so does not know about city or facilities around, but in room was TV and WiFi. In the morning breakfast was good. In the room coffeemaker. Good mattress. Free parking in the front of the hotel.

It is hard to remember, but maybe suggestion is to make refreshment of the walls and ceilings in the rooms.

It was a pleasant surprise, a little grander than anticipated. Was just a one night stopover between locations but this was very nice and a bit more than a motel/business motel. Evening meal was nice and traditional; good breakfast; friendly staff; very clean throughout. The hotel serves the business community too but the location right on the fjord side is beautiful. Also there is an electric car charger right alongside by the waterfront. A very nice night, thank you.

The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. She gave me two great tips for quick cycles on the morning of my departure. Location right at the end of the fjord was lovely, breakfast was very good and nice touches with free coffee and lovely sitting area overlooking the fjord

In our bedroom, the bathroom had a bathtub not completely attached to the wall that let water fall on the floor sometimes. No hangers on the wall to hang your clothes and towels. Ventilation system of the bathroom could not be turned off.

Nice location by the fjord. Breakfast was excellent and served in a nice patio. We had a very good dinner too. A well-stocked supermarket acrosss the road

A kettle in all the rooms would be nice.

Good hotel with a location very convenient for my needs. Very efficient reception and clean rooms with comfortable bed.

Pity that the restaurant by the reception was closed - it was considerably better than the rear dining room which is now only dining opportunity.

We loved breakfast, it was fantastic! Also we loved that the staff was truly helpful and wonderful with all tips for mountain hikes and must see places.

Room was very comfortable and quiet. The included breakfast was good, but it could have included more vegan options.

The shower leaked all over the bathroom floor. The design was not good for a shower setup.
