Ths staff was courteous and forthcoming with recommendations for visits and sightseeing. Since we booked a cottage which was a bit of a walk from the reception, we were offered a room in the same building which was very thoughtful. We declined and went ahead with the cottage because it comes with a living room and kitchen. The cottage is basic but is comfortable for a short or long stay. We enjoyed our short stay twice in this hotel. It's right across the Nor-Way bus stop in case one wants to use the bus to get here. Can't get any better.

We did not know this beforehand that we'd have to make our beds with the sheets and pillow cases that were provided to us. It was not an issue but it.might be worth knowing..

Made our own meals in cabin with fully kitted kitchen. We got a cabin with several bedrooms. firewood was supply outside, although we didnt need any as it was warm enough. Great to take a bath in the evening and in the morning! Great to get parking right outside. Great indoor play area with bouncy castle and ice cream and coffee.

we really liked the place. so not right to complain really, but if there had been ready made breakfast I think we would have opted for that one morning. we did have a fully kitted kitchen, so we could make breakfast ourselves.

The hotel has a lot of facilities inside, a large playing area, pool, the children had a lot of ways of entertaining themselves, us too. A small camping in the back where you can stroll in the evening, too. they also have a jacuzzi in the room, a nice feature.

Breakfast was poor, we had to ask for more butter, not a lot of options. they had vending machines in the hall from where you could buy some snacks and sodas. Hotel located on the side of the road as well, a little noisy from the traffic.

Good place to stay for few nights. The location is close enough to visit Flam, glaciers museum, Nigardsbreen and many other amazing places and scenic routes. From what i could see, is better to rent a cabin than to camp. On one side we paid for the cabin, but ... it was clean, well arranged and equipped, we had 2 bedrooms and private bathroom with shower. We really appreciated our stay there especially as we had been accepted with our little dog.

The lights in master bedroom are really not as useful and do not cover all the room, especially where is the luggage place. Also, in the kitchen area the pan is totally burned and scratched and really not useful.

The man at the front desk was very friendly and extremely helpful with suggestions on our planned driving itinerary the next day. He also showed us a map of Sogndal showing us recommendations for dinner that night. He also brought our bags to our floor as the building did not have an elevator. We did not use the pool.

Nice rooms, kitchen, and facilities. Managed to get two rooms close by so that we all could stay together. The pool facility was nice, well-maintained, and warm. There is a play area and a fitness center. There was a small shaded area for grilling, which was also a nice addition. Overall recommend the stay for my friends.

For us, just for one night and just perfect. Located by the main road in the fiord Norway made it easy to navigate. The huts are twin-based. No sound form the other half. Bathroom was nice, bedrooms as well. The hut are all placed in the woods. Very quiet in the night. There are lot of activities and amenities at the main house and reception, but alas we did not use any of it, so no comment on that.

Very warm and courteous staff. Swimming pool and lekeland was the highlight and hit with the kids. Place is very well maintained and room sizes are bigger than most of the places in Norway.

Nothing, just a bit of drive if you want to visit the city center

We stayed in a cabin and it was roomy and included a small kitchen. The restaurant offered a nice variety for dinner. We had dinner one night and enjoyed it very much. The location was also perfect for a road trip from bergen to alesund. We did a giant circle and this was a perfect stopping point in a quiet location but only 10 minutes from town and restaurants and charging stations

No blow dryer in the cabin

It was a nice place for our families short stay during our fjord travels.

I was only upset about reduced working hours of playground and swimming pool during Easter time, as we booked this place specifically because of kids activities . Rest was good
