I was extremely satisfied with this hotel. From the warm and attentive service by the staff to the cozy and spotless room, everything exceeded my expectations. I especially loved the bath amenities provided. Most importantly, the balcony in my room offered an unbeatable view, and I was lucky enough to witness the Northern Lights from there. The breakfast served by the hotel was also exquisite and delicious. If I ever return to Flåm, I will definitely choose to stay at this hotel again.

The only minor downside is that the hotel is a bit farther from the port, but everything was well worth it.

Breath taking views of the Fjord. Very friendly staff. We had dinner during our stay - one of us salmon and one of us cod, both meals were delicious, we'd recommend the food highly.

This hotel could be amazing but it does need some major investment. The room, although clean and comfortable, was very basic, mostly Ikea furnishings and the bathroom really needed to be totally refurbished. The restaurant/breakfast room was a glass structure with little insulation so was cold even with the heaters on. We thought the hotel was quite expensive given the basic quality of the room but we guess that you're paying for the incredible views.

A perfect location at the end of the Fjord, with stunning views from your living room. We had a top story room, which I would recommend anyone to try and get. Clean room, quite comfortable, a really fantastic breakfast as well. Very close to the Fjord floating sauna, which you need to go and experience when in Flam as well. Book it ASAP before arriving as they do book out.

Would have been great for a larger, comfortable lounge or day bed in the living room to use for just admiring that winter view, as it is so spectacular. Also, they leave the outside front verandah lights on all night, it would have been a nice option to be able to switch them off and enjoy the evening moonlight view, but you could not. Also the curtains aren't perfect and light does come into the room from these lights. All very minor things though, nothing enough to stop me from coming and staying here again.

Fantastic view, great location, nice breakfast. It was a fairly nice stay.

We had 4 people, and the pictures on the booking page also showed that there are beds for 4 people(2 single beds ＆ 1 double bed in the family room). But we could not choose 4 persons for this room when we booked, we had to choose 3 persons. Then when we checked in, the staff charged us for additional fees about 500 NOK, which was not informed on the booking page at all. And staff´s attitude, was also cold. It seemed like we were not warmly welcomed. Besides, the plates in the room were not completely cleaned...

Wow! What an amazing view directly down the fjord! This couldn't have been nicer - nice room, great amenities, wonderful, friendly and helpful staff, incredible breakfast! The restaurant was also wonderful - great food, very convenient, great value, we were so glad to have it available on site in wet weather. The room had the best shower we had in a month of travel. We LOVED our apartment at Flam Marina! It was a highlight in a month of driving all over Norway. Highly recommend this wonderful option!

What a fantastic position Flam Marina is in, the development has been excellently designed and the views from the apartments are stunning from your private deck area. The apartments are cosy and well equipped with everything you might need. The on site restaurant serves high quality food, the cod and salmon dishes were the best we have tasted anywhere around the world - the chefs know how to cook fish. Flam marina is a good area to visit various landmark points, travel there on the Flamsbana and leave via a boat trip down the beautiful fjords.

When the cruise ships come in!! Luckily where they moor doesn't impede the view from the apartments but the huge amount of people stampede over beautiful Flam!! We understand the Norwegian authorities are going to stop these huge ships coming in to the fjords in 2026 and that will be a blessing for this beautiful country.

Great location with spacious rooms and good facilities. The views over the fjord were spectacular even though we had terrible weather. Easy and pretty walks along the fjord to get into town. The breakfast wasn't particularly great, but it was OK.

The car charging facility that we read about at this hotel was a great bonus for us... only we needed an adaptor for our rented Tesla that they did not have. We were then told that down the road there was someone who would definitely be able to assist with an adaptor (another facility owned by the hotel operator). When I got there they said they couldn't help. Just a bit annoying as it was one of the main reasons we booked here.

-We had a double room with fjord view. It was right on the water and had a spectacular view. - The room was immaculately clean and very spacious. It had a shower, basin and mirror on one side and a separate toilet, basin and mirror on the other side of the room which made it easier for us when getting ready. It also had Rituals products in both the bathroom and the toilet. - There were chairs inside facing the view and a table and chairs outside as well. - We enjoyed a delicious meal in the restaurant. - The bed was very comfortable. -The breakfast was plentiful and tasty and our seating was facing the view. - We were very pleased we chose this hotel over others at Flam. It’s only a short walk (7 minutes) away from where the train arrives but it is far enough around the fjord to be in a peaceful location. The train side of the fjord is busier and has food outlets and shops. When other hotels’ view was obscured by cruise boats, Marina Flam still had an open view up the fjord.

We were happy with everything.

The view of the fjord from our room was spectacular and there were no tour ships at port during our visit. I loved that we were a few steps away from the town and had a clear view down the fjord. The room was very nice and tastefully decorated. Robes and slippers were provided along with chairs in front of the window. There was plenty of space for our belongings and the split bathroom worked great. The private patio outside our door was very nice as well even though the weather was a bit rainy and chilly. Our breakfast was fantastic. I would have loved to stay another night!

Our dinner was not as nice as we expected. We had fish soup and the shrimp toast and the portions were very small and while the taste was fine it did not really impress us as a full dinner.

As we travel with child, we do expect more space, privacy and peaceful atmosphere, and this hotel can give us all that. We can enjoy the great scenic view from our balcony with a sip of wine while talking, it is the great part of our trip to remember. We stay here for 2 nights to enjoy the view and complete our activities, hike, bike, boat, and zipline that make us have full of joy. The hotel stay away from Flam station about 400m but it is good for us who love isolation and quiet place, the room is lovely and clean, the bed is comfy, the bunk bed is good, inside the room they have all needed facilities. The breakfast is good enough for all age yet not much as we expected.
