Beautiful location, our room had a stunning view. Comfortable beds in a large spacious room. Evening meal was good and a wide choice of food at breakfast.

When we arrived we booked a table to avoid eating when the coach tours would be using the restaurant, which was good. However at breakfast it was complete chaos with so many people all rushing to get the food available.

Before we came, we informed the hotel that we will be there after midnight. So, they send us a pin code for the front door to get in and self check in. When we get there(at 02 am) pin code didn't work and the door stay closed. After trying the pin code with several combinations using * and # , I tried to call the number on the front door. At first it didn't answer. 5 minutes later a staff call me back, open the front door and lead us to our room. We are so grateful to him. Except for this little problem everything was just fine.

The location directly at the fjord is great incl. a garden and their “own” lighthouse. All staff tried to help in the best possible way. The small menu but nice food was served for dinner.

As the summer season starts on 01st of June there was a small team available only. This created waiting times.

Lovely location on a promontory with great views of the fjord. Friendly receptionist/waiter. There were no other restaurants in the village so we ate at the hotel and dinner was fine, though limited choice. This was my second stay here and I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

The room is clean, shower water is warm, view is great, restaurant is wonderful, staff is nice, price is amazing! Our family had the best time here in this hotel, much better than other cabins and airbnbs.

It was a clean apartment with all the amenities listed. We had a great view of the Sognefjord. The parking was free and large. The breakfast was a buffet with a lot of options. Would definitely come again.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

A great place with a lot of personal touch, which you will never get in chain hotels. Run by the same family for about 60 years, and they will gladly tell you a lot about its history and give advice on attractions available in the area. It's beautifully situated on a peninsula surrounded by the fjord, the views are unbeatable. You don't need the TV set, you can spend hours watching clouds over the fjord! Lots of common areas (decorated with family heirlooms) to spend time in the evening (instead of the room, which was rather small). Delicious breakfast. Very quiet, but it was almost empty when we were there. I definitely hope this hotel survives the pandemic!

The room would do with some renovation. I would also get rid of some decorations in the common areas, such as plastic plants.

Located in the depths of the fjord, the scenery is excellent. The hotel facilities are very retro, the elevator has a sense of age, and the service is very warm.

The extra bed is too small and the room is too crowded

The view of the room is unbelievable, really speechless. The hotel is in the center of the city, a good location. Also the personal is very kind and helpful. I loved and truly recommend it!

View from the room is mesmerising. Hotel staffs are very helpful and accommodating. Food was also very good.

Compared to others this property is little bit more expensive.
