We enjoyed our stay here! The room was a good size, very clean, the bed was comfortable, the restaurant was delicious, and the location of the hotel was perfect for going on day trips to larger towns nearby. It was also easy to find things to do around the hotel if you didn't want to travel far - there was a wonderful hike only 9 minutes down the road from the hotel that the staff had recommended to us! Great place to stay!

Lovely old property with charming living areas available for guests to relax. Generous breakfast spread. Very good service from the manager. The room was very small but had a little balcony.

We booked this as an affordable option to staying in Bergen but it is very remote, an hour away with a narrow winding road towards the end. The town itself is largely industrial and charmless. We had dinner here as there were no other options in the village. A set menu of bread, main and dessert best described as "home cooked" - steamed cod and boiled vegetables without any sauces. The fish was very fresh but the whole meal was very plain.

It was our 2nd stay here. The location is very beautiful and quiet with an romantic touch and situated in a beautifiul landscape. The staff is very kind and we enjoyed our dinner and breakfast outside. We are looking forward to our next stay in Fjordslottet Hotel.

Everything about this place we loved. Warm atmosphere greets you as you come in to the reception. We are met by very friendly staff. Beautiful and quiet. Lovely and cosey lounges in this lovely villa with a view to the sea. We also had a balcony with our rooms overlooking the river and the garden. Wifi, TV, food and drinks. We didn't miss a thing. We will definitely come back.

Simple clean twin bed room with a window that opened out onto the fjord. Good breakfast. Easy drive to Bergen. Good price for three nights.

Beds seemed to be a little older, poking springs into backs. It would have been nice to have a little mat for the doorway to keep the dirt out of the room.

From the hotel side everything was nice. Good room, bathroom and beautiful summer sunset from the balcony. Breakfast was good. Hotel location itself is more of a venue place. If you do not have plans starting near the hotel, then the road is a dead end and you have to backtrack 30km to get to the main road.

it is a beautiful little hotel in a quiet area in a separate island that can be reach so easily from Bergen via Ferry or Bridge super friendly staff excellent breakfast and dinner upon request!! excellent quality and chandelle dinner ! fantastic experience even under the typical Norway rainy weather

+dog friendly! additional cost 200NOK +excellent breakfast! best one it’s a waffle and salmon. don’t have coffee machine, but from thermos ok +cozy room with view and balcony, scandi design + free access all day coffee, tea and water +friendly stuff + there are cozy living rooms where you can sit and drink tea or coffee

There is plenty of parking, the location is quiet and the rooms are nice.

Lack of a TV, when arriving early you're pretty much in the middle of nowhere, on a bad weather day the room is all you have!

2 v small beds pushed together were not a double and if you rolled over they separated and nearly fell down the middle. Only fault as comfy sheets good and room lovely
