This was out favourite place to stay in our holidays. We were between 3 different places in Bergen and Flåm. The rooms were lovely, comfortable and clean. Bathroom was a really good size. Good shower. Comfy beds. The breakfast was very impressive!! Probably the most varied stuff ive seen and love the attention to detail with health supplements too and ginger/kale shots. So cool! The staff were always smiling, very helpful and kind. I would definitely come back here as its very good value for money.

Breakfast very comprehensive. Location is just a little out of the centre (5 mins) but that is fine. Rooms a good size and very comfortable.

The location was great--walkable to anywhere in the city. The breakfast was always delicious! Our room was very comfortable and clean.

There was no air conditioning, and I know that Bergen generally is not as warm as it was when we were there, but this was a problem. They did give us fans, but since our window was on the street side, we couldn't leave it open because of street noise. I foresee many more days of warm weather for Bergen, so investing in A/C would be a good idea for future clients. That saiid, it was not intolerable, and the comfortable beds meant we slept fairly well.

We absolutely loved the breakfast! It was top notch, and one of the best hotel breakfasts we ever had. You all should be recognized in Norway with how great your breakfast is. I was so amazed, and I could see that almost every culture could be happy with the wide variety of breakfast options that you provided, and we are also very happy that you included traditional Norwegian foods as well so that visitors could get a taste of Norway. Thank you. The sleeping arrangements were so perfect as the sofa bed by the window was transformed into a nice window sleeping bed for our children aged 11 and 5. The beds were comfortable and VERY clean. The room was clean, and I have a very high standard for cleaning, so thanking you for providing a pleasant option that I could share with my family. I really appreciate having access to your gym as well! Amazing! And there was so many options so anybody needing to train should have no problems achieving their workout needs. The location was perfect as it was in the center of Bergen and close to the Fish Market/Square (Fisketorget). Thank you for having a number of umbrellas for us to borrow while we were in Norway. It rains a lot! Thank you for allowing us to store our luggage after checking out. Thank thank you thank you. Tusen Takk.

I did not enjoy not having a wash cloth as I enjoy bathing with a wash cloth. I realized during our travels that many European hotels do not provide wash cloths, but many of your visitors would enjoy them.

Good location for walking and also for the bus to the airport. Excellent breakfast. Particularly loved the bread and the large selection for all palates and allergies. Also a quiet hotel. I would recommend it for people traveling to Bergen.

The fitness room wasn't attached to the hotel. I was told that it was close by but I didn't check it out as it meant getting rugged up again. The shower was small and I fit quite well but did keep bumping my elbows on the shower screen when washing my hair. However my son would definitely not fit in the space so I think it could be problematic for a larger/broader person.

The location is amazing. Close to the Tourist Information Centre where most tours will pick up from. Close to the Wharf and Mathalen where one of the good seafood restaurant is, Fjellskål, close to the fish market as well as the funicular. Most importantly, close to the Skybus and the light train to the airport.

I had the standard room for single occupancy and even this i found it to be quite small. I wouldn't have thought, space is an issue here in Norway. My hotel in Copenhagen in comparison was big. The people at the reception are not the warmest and friendliest. They could be better, more welcoming and more forthcoming with information / greetings at least. I stayed at the Ibsens in Copenhagen and the people there are super welcoming.

This is a really good hotel, conveniently located just a short walk from the fish market and the cruise departure point. The hotel is clean inside, and the rooms are a decent size with good amenities and a modern bathroom design. Breakfast was excellent and great value, especially since it was included in the room rate. There was plenty of variety to choose from. They also offer all-day tea, coffee, and snacks for guests, which is a nice touch. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, a great experience—I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was one of the best, which we ever had. It's totally new refurbished, located in a quiet area, just a short walk to the water front and all the sightseeing points. We were overwhelmed, how nice decorated and also large enough our room was. The room had a cute little window, with the possibility to sit underneath on a cushioned bench to relax, while having a lovely view of the roofs of the town and to the Fløyen. The room was quiet, the beds were comfortable, the arrangement for placing the bags and clothes was very comfortable and smart, even in the bathroom. Everything was very clean and the staff was lovely and friendly. The public parking garage was just a 4 minute walk to the hotel. The breakfast room was very pretty and large and everything, whatever one wants to eat or drink was there. I'd come again, if I were there once again. I highly recommend this hotel.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel and can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that guest comfort and satisfaction are their top priorities. What truly sets this place apart is how they go the extra mile with thoughtful, complimentary touches that you just don’t find everywhere. The free self-service laundry was a lifesaver, especially for longer stays — so convenient and appreciated! We also loved the 24-hour unlimited coffee, tea, and water station. It was perfect for a late-night pick-me-up or a peaceful early morning sip. And for someone with a sweet tooth like me ,the complimentary candy was such a fun and delightful treat. These little extras made our stay feel genuinely welcoming and homey. It’s clear the hotel goes above and beyond to create a great experience. I’ll definitely be back!

We loved everything. The receptionist was accommodating and allowed us to check in early and helped with car parking for our motorbike. There are free washing machines and tumble dryers for guests to use (detergent is not provided), free flow coffee and water available in the restaurant area, a kettle and coffee in guest rooms, lovely smelling shower and hair gel and the breakfast was first rate. In a brilliant location to walk to all the attractions in the city, just a street from the quayside. The decor is charming, scandi cool and everything just looks effortless. Would definitely return if we come back to Bergen.
