4th Floor room Harbour view. Love the fact that it had Rituals bathroom products - such luxury! The breakfast was excellent, spoilt for choice! Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful in every way. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bergen. The location was excellent with lots of restaurants nearby and great value for money....I am missing my lovely breakfast now I am home!

The room would benefit from better lighting as I struggled to see what was in my case but didn't spoil my experience.

The hotel was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The staff were always friendly and happy to help if it was needed. The food was excellent and the bonus of all meals included was brilliant. The breakfast variety was amazing and the best we’ve had on a holiday. The size of the room was amazing especially as we had our teenage son with us it meant he had his own little area to himself which was a real bonus.

There was no air conditioning and although it wasn’t really hot the window open at night meant there was a lot of noise from people outside late at night which was quite disruptive.

Absolutely wrong is their policy of not cleaning the room every day. That is not acceptable, and it’s a silly policy that diminishes the rating of the hotel by 1 point. Also, when I was informed about this policy at the reception desk, I was told that I could still request the room to be cleaned; however, the following day nobody cleaned the room or replaced the towels. New towels were supplied upon request Furthermore, probably the staff at the reception is not well trained in terms of helping customers. For example, if I ask help to book at the taxi for the morning after, you need to be helpful and proactive.

Wonderful location right on the port in the thick of tourist Bergen! Good size clean room with water views. We loved the view, interesting all hours of the day and night! Very comfortable bed, shower over the bath, kettle, wardrobe. Everything we needed. Breakfast was great with many different choices. Not as many varieties of hot food as shown in the photos but enough. Fikka was an added bonus, as was dinner. Dinner was basic but tasty with one or two hot food items and plenty of salads. Tea and coffee available in the Fikka room 24/7. Just a note - our room was at the back of the building and we had to walk up and down around 6 steps to reach the lift or the dining room. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again.

The hotel is in the PERFECT location in the heart of Bergen's waterfront. We were well-situated to explore all major highlights. Dinner and breakfast were included, making this a fantastic deal, and they were delicious. Dinner was a fixed menu, and well done, and the breakfast was amazing...offering so much variety and it was delicious. The room was great, comfortable, and a good size. Oh, they also has afternoon fika (tea/snack time) which was lovely. They have good sitting areas on the main floor...plenty of space to gather. Staff was friendly and helpful. I'd highly recommend this hotel in Bergen.

The only drawback is the shower/tub combo...with a high threshold for the tub, I was unable to use that...not safe for older or wobbly guests. Maybe other rooms just have a shower feature...we didn't ask.

Excellent breakfast, super friendly hotel staff, very comfortable beds, free coffee and tea all day long. Gym room has two treadmills, a cross-trainer, a rowing machine, an ergo bike, a weight bench, a pull station and several dumbbells. The receptionists give out 4 gym keys, which ensures it is not overcrowded. Small sauna is comfortable and can be booked at the reception.

Sadly the sauna became dysfunctional during my visit. The coffee/tea machine for use throughout the day broke in the same time, but the friendly hotel staff served coffee at the reception to make up for it. :-)

Recommend! Great room with a lovely view. Was quiet considering very central location. Very comfy bed with pillow options. Toiletries provided. Free dinner option included in price though we did not partake and went put instead. Room price was incredibly reasonable for July. Breakfast was excellent - so much choice! Car parks beside. Would def go back.

Don't park in the car park directly under the hotel - it is very small!! Another bigger more spacious one nearby. Felt upstairs corridors could do with some tlc but they are transitioning from one brand to another so expect they will upgrade these. As with many places, lighting in room is not adequate for applying makeup!

Like the design in a historical building. It's near to almost every spots for Bergen city sightseeing. The Fika,dinner,breakfast were great. Especially in a rainy day, getting whole wet and cold from outside and then have something sweet to eat in the afternoon. There's not large variety of dishes from dinner, but there's plenty of salad and traditional Norway warm dish. Really delicious. I also love the dinner severing team (staff) very much, always friendly.

In my room, there's kind of strange motor or mechanical sound. (Morning and evening happened more)Maybe from the parking nearby or bathroom. It's not too bother for me though. Need a towel for the floor since it's easy to spilt out water from shower.(Also means the shower is that great!)

The room is big , enough for 4 pieces of luggage . The funicular station is like a stone throw away . Other areas of interest within walking distance . Airport bus #50 stop at Torget and walking to the hotel was a breeze . We stayed on the second floor and did not hear any sound from the bar opposite as mentioned in other posts ...actually it was rather quiet . Breakfast was impressive especially me as a vegetarian . The water jet has good pressure and shampoo , body wash , lotion provided .

The bed was a bit soft for me . The water temperature adjustment was a bit of a hassle as it was controlled by 2 separate taps No bar fridge in the room .

The location is absolutely perfect to explore Bergen with all major sites quickly and easily accessible. The staff was super friendly and had many good recommendations, including for food. There are many great restaurants nearby including a great wine bar a block away. The price for the room was very good and fair and ours # 426 had a great view of the harbor. And as you've heard the included breakfast is well above average and very good considering the price of the room.

There was not a safe in the room, which I always prefer when traveling abroad with our passports. Also the bathroom was quite small. Not deal breakers but I would especially prefer a safe in the room. Also the hallway rug on the 4th floor definitely needs a cleaning and was not a nice introduction to the living space, although the room itself was fine and clean.
