Room was cozy yet elegant, bed was comfy, bathroom was upscale, high-end bath products, and views were incredible. Dinner was exceptional - the tasting for two was pricey, but servings were a good size and wine recommendations were wonderful! Nicest staff too. This is a family owned property, and they even waited on us at breakfast. The family takes a lot of pride in their hotel - and it shows. If we come back to Voss, we will definitely stay here!

Bedroom did not have AC nor a fan. There were no mirrors in the bedroom - only in the bathroom. No refrigerator in room. Everything else was amazing!

This is a special place with a wonderful tale to tell. Upon arrival, we were greeted by one of the owners who told us the history of the property whilst also proudly announcing himself as 10th generation of the farm. The room was tastefully decorated with a cosy, warm feel to it. We chose to have dinner at the Store Ringheim Restaurant, where all produce is sourced sustainably and locally. The menu was set and with each course came a story. We started with meat that had been cured since 2022! It was delicious! Breakfast was equally delightful and we left feeling well rested and fed. It was a short walk to Voss City Centre where there are coffee shops to enjoy. A really special experience and one that I would recommend!

Store Ringheim, in the town of Voss, was a delightful place to stay. The rooms are bright, comfortable and exceptionally clean. The hotel is nestled in the hills with lovely views of the nearby valleys. The folk museum is just a few minutes walk away and is wonderfully done. The restaurant provided our favorite meals, both for breakfast and dinner, during our extended trip through Scandinavia. The staff are exceptionally personable and informative in this owner-staffed hotel. Artwork throughout the facility is exceptional due to the artistic ability of the owners. We have stayed in dozens of bed and breakfasts and this was one of our best experiences ever.

We loved our room in the old barn building. It was very clean and nicely updated and decorated. It was very comfortable. We had dinner in the sunroom and it was very nice. They might have forgotten about us for a little while and we had to track someone down before we left. Breakfast was very nice. We also appreciated the ride to and from the bus/train station in Voss. There was also a nice walk from the hotel to a cultural center. The property was very quiet and relaxing with great views of the valley!

While the staff was very friendly and helpful, I felt that we were forgotten at the dinner table.

wonderful stay, has the feel of a homestay or airbnb but with the professionalism, amenties and the restaurants of a hotel. Lovely location with gorgeous views, only a few minutes from town and there is a courtesy bus that will run you in/pick you up as needed. This was a lovely break from our mainly large hotel stay during our travels. Late checkout 12 pm meant that we could have a sleep in and not have to rush in the morning

The contact and conversations with the owners was special. The location was special. Everyone was very helpful.

We booked this through a travel agent so we were surprised to learn that a wedding party was arriiving the one full day we were on the property. It would have been good to know about this in advance and perhaps our travel agent failed to tell us. However, the owners were very sensitive to this situation and assisted us in various ways so that we were not overwhelmed by the wedding festivities.

Beautiful property in a very special location on the hill above Voss town centre. 20 mins walk downhill into town, free shuttle bus to hotel on arrival and departure from bus or train station. Gorgeous comfortable rooms with Loccitane toiletries, comfy chairs etc. wonderful restaurant with Michelin standard food, all sourced locally.

nice refurbished farm with excelent view on the surroundings. personel was friendly and helpfull. having plenty of space to park my car close to the accommodation was nice. It is also close to a small hike trail for a evening walk. the room was excellent, with complementary stuff. The breakfast was very extended with enough choice for everyone.

the only thing that in the restaurant that the menu choice was a bit limited to few items, but the quality was definitely making up for this.

The owner was very welcoming and helpful. The property is very well maintained, well decorated, food is absolutely delicious and it was a delight to be staying hotel. It's worth going and experiencing this lovely place.

Nothing - it’s a beautiful hotel. My only slight warning to those without a car it is a fair way (25-30 min walk) from Voss town centre. Make use of the shuttle service with luggage - but otherwise it’s a very pretty walk (and good work out!)
