The hotel was modern and very clean. The room was comfortable too and the AC was excellent. I also found the staff to be very attentive, providing fresh towels and bottled water every day. Even though it's near a main road, there was zero traffic noise. There is abundant parking around the hotel too and it's a stones throw from the Mall of Oman. I really liked the rooftop pool too, very good views of the city.

You do need a car if you stay here. Although the centre of Muscat is hard to pinpoint, the hotel is not in a walking friendly area and other than the Mall of Oman, not much is close by. This isn't really a dislike, but more of a heads up for anyone booking. I can't actually fault the hotel itself.

Great hotel! (We stayed in another 4* and 5* on this trip) our last 4* was very bad! This hotel Lives up to the stars, we stayed for two weeks and we loved the all the staff, we had other family comer over for 10 days, amazing service, amazing restaurant manager we loved her. All staff very attentive and friendly, and very good price. The breakfast is very good and has a variety and a bit for everyone from fruit and salads to omelet and egg station and hot and cold food. Great rooftop pool and jacuzzi, very clean and opening hours are fab 👌🏻👌🏻 Jakir was really nice and serviced the room everyday. Shout out to all the restaurant and breakfast staff from the beautiful lady in management to Ahmad and others, we will be back. 🌸🌸🌸

The electric incense burner in the corridors were a bit too much for me and my family and my baby, so I kept switching it off as my grandfather had asthma as well.

Location was good value for money Food was excellent & the portions served were huge. The hotel staff all the departments were excellent in providing excellent service. the restaurant staff especially Mamun & joyti very pleasant & always served with a smile & always helpful with our food request the housekeeping Mohammed who was allocated to cleaning of the 1st Floor was very good in his job & the Front office Sarath always very helpful & did a excellent job to any of our requests & a big Thank you to Manoj Kumar a very pleasant personality & was always ready to help with any of our requests overall all the staff were excellent & most helpful the hotel should be proud to have a team like them❤️

I arrived at the hotel at 4.30 AM. The room was prepared and the receptionists fulfilled my wish to have a room on the upper floor. The room was equipped with fully working air conditioning, a king-size bed, a deposit safe, a small fridge, bathroom with a toilet. There was a kettle with tea and coffee available, then 3-4 small bottles of water a day complimentary. The cleaning was perfect every day, every day clean towels. The receptionists were all helpful, and helped me to get a taxi to the city centre. Breakfast was available every day 6.30-10.30.

Two downsides - toiles was very noisy flushing and even some time after flushing, the water from the shower box was leaking in the bathroom. Then I would appreciate more choice for breakfast - some bread and ham. Pancakes were available only 2 days out of six.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Al Murooj Grand Hotel, and I must say it was a delightful experience from start to finish. Located in a prime area, From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was impressed by the warm welcome and efficiency of the staff. The check-in process was smooth. The room itself was spacious, well-appointed, and immaculately clean, providing a comfortable. However, what truly set my stay at Al Murooj Grand Hotel apart was the exceptional service provided by Ms.Rahma. Her attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine warmth made me feel valued as a guest and ensuring all my requests were promptly attended to, Ms.Rahma went above and beyond to ensure my stay was nothing short of perfect. In conclusion, I would highly recommend Al Murooj Grand Hotel to anyone visiting the area.

It was comfortable. The breakfast and staff in the breakfast room were really excellent. The Concierge Manoj Kumar was really superb. Extremely helpful and professional. He couldn't do enough for us. He is a fantastic representative of the hotel. The bed was comfortable. Good channels on the tv. The bath was a good size. Good location for the malls.

The check in lady was not friendly. The room was grubby. There was rubbish inside the cupboard and a dirty tissue just under the bed. Also no cups in the room although there was coffee. The hot water ran out quickly. The swimming pool is quite small. In the breakfast room, the tables need to be cleared more quickly as they ran out of cutlery and there was discarded food and dirty plates everywhere.

Perfect location, the check in process is very nice, the staff are welcoming, I truly want to appreciate the morocco lady in front office she offered a room with a better view which my wife really appreciated! The room is so clean, comfortable and no noises. In the morning we found the breakfast closed at around 11am though we met an angel, UDARI in the restaurant was exceptional, she recommended Chicken and beef Maqbuz which we really enjoyed! And lastly the pool side view at 7th floor is amazing, to mention but a few, Al Murooj is gonna be our new home. thank you everyone for making our stay memorable. see you soon!

Perfect price/value ratio for a stay in Muscat. Breakfast has everything you need and is very tasty, wide choice. Clean. There is a lovely pool with nice views and quite well equiped gym (if you take into account that this is not a 5 star hotel). Nice location close to Grand Mosque and one other nice mosque open to foreigners. Close to good restaurants, shopping malls. Very helpful staff (we had accidentally 2 separate rsservations for 2 different type of rooms but they put us in one, so we did not have to move) after 2 days.

Really enjoyed our stay at Al Murooj Grand Hotel. Staff are very polite and helpful and speak very good English. Hotel is clean, rooms are a good size and comfortable. Breakfast buffet selection is very good. Laundry service is very prompt. Free parking right outside is a bonus. Would definitely recommend.

Pool area would benefit from some upgrading. Looks a little neglected. Pool vista bar was closed when we were there.
