Staying at the W Muscat was wonderful, all the staff were so attentive and we enjoyed our stay so much! Using the Wet Deck was amazing, the pool was fantastic with so many seating areas to choose from, and we were so well looked after by the Wet Deck team, especially Karim. Breakfast was amazing, with so many options to choose from, and we also enjoyed eating at Ba Ban. Will definitely return for another stay at W Muscat.

Due to our flight arriving at 6am and despite paying for the previous night's stay, we were not informed that we would be charged as no-show. When checking out on Wednesday afternoon, we were asked to pay for this no-show. We feel this was poorly handled by the check-in team member. This was not a pleasant end to an otherwise very enjoyable vacation.

Beautiful room, hotel facilities and restaurants were fantastic. Plenty of top quality food and drink choice. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

The music at the Friday pool party was just way too loud. Couldn’t talk to each other as it was just too loud and very busy. Staff did warn us to be fair.

W Muscat hotel is a 5 star hotel, with a great location right on Qurum Beach, Gulf of Oman. A 20 minute drive from Muscat International Airport. The Royal Opera House is located opposite the hotel and is worth a visit, although the tour of the place is short. It is walking distance to shops, good cafes and restaurants. The hotel offers transportation, but it is also possible to order transportation/taxi outside the hotel area. Long and nice beach promenade. The hotel has a great pool, with nice facilities. Similarly, a great infinity pool with a beautiful view. Nice staff who look after you at all times and make sure you get what you need - when you want it. This hotel deserves its stars. No matter where you are, whether you are on your way in or out, at the reception, or at one of the several dining options, including the breakfast buffet, you will meet professional and genuinely nice and interested people. Staff who really care about you. All requests are handled, when we needed help in the room this was arranged immediately. Room service checks in several times a day. The surroundings are otherwise as you would expect, a very good standard of everything. You get what you pay for. The food we ate; breakfast, by the pool, on the rooftop bar was delicious. Fresh and good ingredients - also current drinks. I would like to conclude by specifying the people, the employees, who really deserve praise. Personal follow-up, nice gestures along the way... Thank you very much for the stay, we will be happy to come again.

Excellent location at the end of the Qurum beach. The Royal Opera House, Galeria and several excellent restaurants are just behind the hotel. Lovely to walk down the beach to much cheaper local restaurants and cafes. The “Wonderful” room with sea views was great, but avoid rooms above the Living Room if you don’t want the noise below. We only used the the Wet Deck for lunches and pool drinks. The pool is huge, relatively shallow and a reasonable temperature for swimming. Akiko, Ba Ban, & Fauchon restaurants were very good. Omani restaurants are a fraction of the price for a meal. The concierge arranged a dolphin watch & snorkeling trip by Siddar which was a great 3hr trip We’ll definitely stay again!

WiFi was very slow at times. Arrived on Thursday afternoon and music was blasting out around the pool ready for the night DJ event. It was supposed to finish at 2am but loud beat music continued till nearly 3am, we couldn’t sleep. There is also often a Friday night party on the Rooftop Siddharta Lounge but didn’t happen when we were there because of the Ironman event the following day. So if you don’t want the noise avoid Thursday & Friday weekends. The W hotels attract a younger clientele and children.

Staying at W Muscat was the best decision we made for our trip! From the moment we arrived, the manager Joel Mod was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure we enjoyed every moment until the day we left Loay, one of the team members, truly impressed us by finding and returning an item we had accidentally dropped outside the hotel entrance it meant so much to us! The hotel’s location is in a luxurious area, the facilities are stunning, and the rooms are spacious and spotless They even surprised us twice with birthday cakes for my wife, which made our stay extra special

Nothing at all – everything was beyond perfect

Everything was excellent from the comfort of the room to the gym and pool facilities to the very friendly staff who did everything they could to make our stay memorable. We’d be there again in a heartbeat!!

Staff could have explained further how the hotel operates in general and during Ramadan. There is no guide in the room to explain Pool opening hours, how and where to get towels, times of meals.  General etiquette expected by foreign guests not observing ramadan. Last bit is key as many guests aren't too aware of local culture so it is important guests are informed.

Nice big rooms, nice pool and close the beach. The breakfast is excellent.

When I asked housekeeping for a teapot, they said they didn’t have it while i saw them at the breakfast. During checkin I felt a little forgotten. I was told the room would be ready in 30 mins and they would come to me but they never did. When I went myself after an hour it turned out the room was already ready so it felt a little like a waste of my time. Also I noticed this hotel is quite noisy with parties outside, and even during breakfast the music could be a little loud.

The W Muscat continues to exceed my expectations every single time. From its superb location right by the sea – close to the Royal Opera House and just a short walk from the lively Qurum walking strip – everything about this hotel makes it an absolute joy to return to. The staff are incredibly helpful, attentive, and always ready with a smile – it truly feels like arriving at a familiar and welcoming place. One of the highlights is the weekly DJ event by the pool, which brings a fantastic energy to the entire area without ever feeling intrusive. The Siddharta Lounge by Buddha-Bar is another gem – offering delicious food, perfectly crafted drinks, and sublime events that make each evening feel special. This wasn’t my first stay at the W Muscat, and it certainly won’t be my last. It’s a place that keeps calling you back – stylish, warm, and unforgettable.

Depending on their occupancy the room rate can get quite pricey, almost over the top.

We loved everything about the property. It was beautiful, grand and elegant. We decided to stay at W Muscat because we wanted a short paradise getaway, and the hotel provided us just that. The pool and bar areas were beautiful (though I wish it had deeper sections). The room was bright, comfortable and spacious. Everything was spotless and clean — not just the bathroom, bathtubs and rooms but all of the facilities. We came during Eid holidays, and they were very helpful in letting us know information about food and alcohol rules at the time. The restaurant and Siddharta bar were aesthetically pleasing and beautiful. We tried an Iftar Buffet and two days of breakfast. Frankly, the Iftar buffet was disappointing, as most of the food was just ok and kind of cold. We would not recommend the Iftar buffet, but would recommend you to try the breakfast once. Just your typical breakfast, but the pastries and desserts saved it! Amazinggg danish pastries and sweet things. Service was top notch, the housekeeping, front office, waiters and waitresses. Safe to say, apart from the food, we had a smashing time at W Muscat!
