Room was clean and comfortable. The property is gorgeous. Breakfast is good.

The bathtub was oversized and stuck against a wall so we couldn’t get in&out easily. The room was extremely noisy all night despite being told it’s not noisy. The hotel doesn’t have bar and coffee service in the afternoon. We booked a day trip with the front desk for which we were asked to be ready at 2:30am. The front desk poorly handled the booking with the traveling company and we ended up leaving at 3:45am on the wrong bus! We realized we were heading to the wrong destination after 3h drive and we had to alert the traveling company to switch us to another bus. Please note the tour booked through the hotel is more expensive than if we had booked on our own. The hotel apologized and offered 1h late check out.

Beautiful hotel. We loved the decoration and environment. Our room was exactly what we needed after traveling for too many days and just wanting a place to relax. The food in the restaurant is great!! everything was delicious and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The Spa area is very nice if you go alone or with your couple, just make sure to reserve your spot. Paying extra for the Spa ($17 per person) was a bit too much in our opinion but we still had a good time relaxing in the Spa for 1h.

So much noise from a local that had loud music the whole night. We couldn't rest at all unfortunately.

- Poor equipment of the room (no slippers, no closet, no sound-proof windows) - at around 1am very loud music was played in the neighborhood and it was impossible to sleep. After complaining to the front desk, the reception lady called the police and the sound level decreased but could still be heard until 3:30am. We had to wake up at 6am for an activity so it was definitely a bad night for us. We stayed only one night though, so I can't say if this noise level occurs every night or if we were just very unlucky.

Convenient location, close to the square. Very helpful staff. An atmospheric building making a welcome change from modern boxes. A good breakfast and the in house restaurant was excellent. Comfortable bedroom with a pleasant balcony. Kindly stored bags on day of departure. Despite the -ve remarks, we had a most enjoyable stay.

Shower temperature control fiddly. Pool table should be shut after 10pm, as it's a distraction hearing the balls collide when trying to sleep. Had a bedside lamp which couldn't connect to the socket, luckily my own adaptor solved it.

Very nice breakfast and excellent service staff. The garden is very atmospheric with nice furniture and setting. Bed was comfortable. Very good location.

The room was small, with the bathtub awkwardly placed in the room, making the toilet area uncomfortably cramped and tiny . Access to the spa requires an additional fee of $17 per person. Additionally, the hotel provides only one iron (steam-only) for all guests to share, which is highly inconvenient. Some work needed in the hotel see pic as it’s a bit of hazard.

We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Arequipa It’s central, located just in from of Santa Catalina The staff is very friendly and can book daily tours for you on requests They are also very considerate and prepare breakfast boxes for you if you have tours starting early in the morning

The rooms were nice but not all of the same standard, even though their price is the same: the first one we had was just ok, the second one was wonderful ! There is no heating system in the room so we have been quite cold at night

The architecture and decor. The location. I had one day in Arequipa and Could not have chosen a better location. It is Literally a few meters from the Santa Catalina Convent as well as the Plaza de Armas, The breakfast was very good, in a beautiful patio. I ordered room service and the food was excellent. The queso solitario was very fresh and very tasty. The staff in general very very helpful and courteous. All in all a very good short stay. Highly recommended. Sophie

Location is great and the room was fabulous. A quirky mix of old and new this hotel has a lot to offer but……….

Unfriendly reception staff - really need some serious customer relations work . Public areas are dirty but then the cleaning staff have not been given the right tools to help them do their job properly - the cleaning staff work hard but with huge areas open to the elements it’s an almost Herculean task - they need electric floor cleaners not brushes and pans !

Very cozy boutique hotel with plants everywhere and a great location. I recommend the spa, it was really nice and relaxing after a long tour, just make sure to book it a couple of days before. The room balcony has a great view of the volcano.

At first they gave me a room very different from the photos on Booking, once I claimed they gave me the right one. Bathroom too small, tiny shower without tiles on the floor. Too many flies at the reception. I booked a massage session that was last minute canceled. A bit too expensive for what you get, be careful with the final price after taxes.

This hotel was incredible, I still think about it as the most peculiar and nice hotel I've stayed in. It's located in the historical area, not a long walk from the main square. The interior is like a museum, it's made of stone and wood. We stayed in two rooms, one of them was big: big bed, big tv, (not a real unfortunately) fireplace, big closet, wood floors, stone walls, view of the city. The other room was small and not so impressive except for the view of beautiful flowers on the walls of the building and the majestic volcano in the distance. Breakfast was really really good (the best out of all places we traveled in Peru). There is a boiler with variety of teas at the front desk which I took advantage of all the time. You can book massage and sauna. And one of my favorite things about the place is Benito, cat that lives at the hotel. I definitely would love to come here again.

The only thing is the showers. In both rooms we had the showers were not very powerful and not very hot or difficult to set the right temperature. Also there is no door or curtain so the water goes everywhere. Strange design choice. Oh, and the sauna needs upgrade: the room with the pool is very cold, the pool is cold (even the hot tub).
