Fantastic breakfast, with incredibly friendly staff in the restaurant. Xiomara was very friendly and always willing to help where needed, especially with my nut allergy. The location is perfect right next to San Pedro station and close to the famous markets and short walk from the main square. They offer luggage storage for those taking on one of the big 3-5 day hikes at no cost. Overall a comfortable staff and while there was some renovations taking place, did not interrupt a peaceful stay.

Some front desk staff and porters weren't always the friendliest and seemed unhappy in the jobs they were doing. Not sure if this is to pay or working conditions but during some requests it felt like favours were being done rather than offering good customer service.

Breakfast was outstanding, best I've had in Peru. Varied, fresh and plentiful. The general setup and environment was very nice. Rooms were basic but absolutely fine - very clean and tidy. Perfect. 100% recommend.

There wasn't anything significant. The staff on reception were a bit miserable, except for one lady who was helpful. The location is very good for the price, but it is a good 10min walk to the main square which adds up if you need to travel and back and forth.

Beautiful monastery, a bubble of tranquility in the san pedro fuss. Beautiful garden, nice modest rooms with a wonderful comfy huge bed with ample covers and pillows. The breakfast buffet was one if the best ones we’ve had in peru and the staff was very kind and welcoming. Situated just outside the sanpedro market which is incredibly convenient when you’re on your last cusco night shopping (:

The room was a bit chilly and the heating didn’t work quite well. The noise insulation is quite non existent so you hear everything from the corridors…

The staff, in all functions, provided exceptional service. I especially enjoyed the colorful gardens in the interior courtyards and appreciated comfortable seating to fully take in the beauty. Throughout the property one finds places to relax. We enjoyed dining in the on-site restaurant for both breakfast and dinner.

Well, it was formerly a monastery, but I was surprised to find that our room had no windows. Additionally, though the bathroom was spacious, there was no place to set personal items. A small table or chair would have satisfied my need.

The location was very central opposite a big market and only 3 blocks from the main square Plaza de Armas. The courtyards were beautiful and the gardens well maintained. Our superior twin room was spacious and quiet. I recommend the superior rooms, as on our return when we booked again for 2 days, I did not realise I booked an ordinary room which had no bath and no coffee machine. So we upgraded again. Breakfast was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was great we could leave our big bag in storage at the hotel, whilst we went for two days to Machu Picchu.

There were issues with WiFi connectivity which on our first night was interrupted for the first 6 hours, and patchy on the other days in the room. The floor looked a little worn in some places.

Lovely hotel with gorgeous inner courtyard and ideal location next to the San Pedro market. Very large and comfortable bed. Good amenities including laundry service, taxi service, spa, and restaurant. Clean hotel with nice rooms.

Slightly disappointed considering the price of the hotel. The breakfast was average, and although very nice, the room was not hugely better than some of the cheaper hostels we stayed in. The spa was lovely, but again expensive, and there are many other spa facilities throughout Cusco that charge much less. Overall, would stay again and really enjoyed my time but it felt slightly too expensive

Beautiful hotel, very unique experience staying in a Monastery! Breakfast was good and staff was very friendly. Location is just a few minutes walking from the main plaza. They have a spa in the monastery, which we didn’t use but is worth mentioning!

Shower didn’t get too warm and bathroom was very cold due to window on the ceiling that didn’t close. // if you plan on paying in dollars, make sure they are brand new! Most places won’t accept cash that looks a bit older or has any small imperfection.

The place was magnificent. Great location, great people, excellent service, the in house restaurant had delicious food, fresh fruits, we had dinner their every night.. try the dieta de pollo! Breakfast was also very good. The room was good they clean the room daily. Could not have a better location it was great after every tour they drop you off at the plaza de armas 3 blocks away from the hotel a quick safe walk, also many restaurants and gift shops on the way to the hotel. Would stay again at Moneatario San Pedro.

Better heaters. It was cold at night. But the alpaca cover did the trick.

Lovely atmosphere in the hotel, it’s like a peaceful oasis when you come off the busy street outside. Lots of places to sit and relax. Helpful and nice staff - from the staff on reception to the cleaners and bar staff, everyone is very pleasant and smiley. Good location with a minute walk to the San Pedro Market, and 5-10 mins walk to the centre of town. There’s also a chemist next door and a supermarket nearby which is really useful. There’s a room next to reception which has an oxygen tank and cocoa tea for if you suffer from any altitude sickness like I did! Good value for money.

The double bed was a little bit small for 2 people. The bar staff are very nice but can be a little slow with drinks sometimes.

The property was right across the street from a main square/market and it’s close to excellent restaurants. Once you walk into hotel all the bustle from the streets disappears as you walk into a beautiful, peaceful courtyard. All of the rooms open to the courtyard. The rooms are cozy and very clean. The towels and linens were super soft and comfortable. I loved that it is a locally run and was unique. Not your standard box hotel that looks the same everywhere you go. The staff was friendly and helpful.

There isn’t anything I didn’t like.
