There was food street and entertainment every night at Fuente Osmema Circle. And this is 4 minutes walk from the hotel. But people say this is only every christmas season. There are many restaurants, stores and beauty salons nearby. There is laundrymat at the back.

It might be an issue if you are rooming-in with a co-worker or someone you are not close to. Or, even if you are with friends, the shower of the room maybe an issue. The walls are made of glass. Though not clear glass, you can see the silhoutte of the one taking the shower.

My recent stay at Amber Hotel in Cebu was a delightful experience. From the friendly staff to the comfortable accommodations, everything about this boutique hotel exceeded my expectations. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's restaurant. I enjoyed delicious breakfasts and dinners, including a classic Filipino breakfast of tapsilog and mouthwatering desserts. The food was consistently excellent, and the service was impeccable. Amber Hotel's prime location is another major plus. It's situated in a bustling area with plenty of restaurants, shops, and entertainment options. Additionally, it's not too far from Osmeña Circle, making it easy to explore the city's attractions. Robinson's Cybergate is across the street along with a major hospital within walking distance. If you're looking for a comfortable and convenient hotel in Cebu with excellent dining options, I highly recommend Amber Hotel. It's a great choice for both leisure and business travelers.

I extended my stay 4 additional times - obviously, I hated to leave, it would be nice to be there right now.

I love the location because its very accessible to restaurants and coffee shop. I am happy with the service i got fromthe front desk staff, the conceirge and the security. They are very welcoming and friendly. They are attentive to Guest presence, check in was smooth with Eli and love how she handled my questions and the conversation when i raised my concern with the food and beverage. I stayed at the hotel three times over two weeks, with varying lengths of stay, and was disappointed with the service in the breakfast area. It was the small details that made a difference: being served coffee without creamer or sugar, having to stand up to get their attention, and receiving a breakfast to-go without any cutlery. The most frustrating part was being charged an additional 50 pesos for a packed breakfast, even though breakfast is included in the stay. I don't mind paying extra, but the sandwich I received was just unacceptable—it was essentially a poorly made egg sandwich that seemed like it was put together by a child. I'm not overly picky, but it was shocking for a hotel to serve something like that. The food and beverage service did improve towards the end of my stay, so perhaps Eli addressed the issue with the team. Overall, I’m still happy with my stay, but a bit more consistency in the F&B service would make a big difference.

A bit of negative which turned into positive. I had reached post 3pm but my room strangely wasn't ready. On grumbling they upgraded me to a suite with a separate living area but on the lower floor instead of the deluxe room on the higher floor as per my booking. Room was very good with all amenities which had been listed. The main entrance is right opposite the back entrance of a Robinsons which had quite a few places to eat plus a few other popular fast food restaurants were within a short walking distance.

Surprised that in spite of emailing the time of checking in ahead of my arrival, the room wasn't ready. If they hadn't upgraded me it would have an an issue for sure. The restaurant/bar was pretty limited and the included breakfast wasn't great.

Staff were cordial and helpful. Hotel is within the city center-- mini malls (more like food malls), hospitals and various services are easily accessible. Room was clean. I appreciate that they provide a glass pitcher to use for refill of free filtered water. It's economical and environmentally helpful. Water heater is also available if you wish to have a fix of coffee. Breakfast is ala carte with limited selection. Although fruit is included, you have to remind the staff if you want it,otherwise it will not be served voluntarily, same as with coffee.

Would be great if they have a fitness center. It's beyond the hotel's control, but expect some noise from passing vehicles (honks and sirens due to its proximity to hospitals) especially at night.

Location , staff and cleanliness

Lack of amenities but they are only 6 months opened.

- Hotel receptionist are all friendly and smiling always. It’s a big plus. - Hotel manager granted my late checkout without any additional cost. Worth my memorable stay. - Hotel staff acted immediately as reported upon knowing my electronic door lock can’t be open with access card. They relocate me on other room for my convenience. Guest are treated always on top service needed. - Guard are pro-active on assisting guest especially onsite car parking. - Room cleaners diligently clean the room. Keeping the room smell good and well maintained. - Provided with drinking water dispenser on each floor level which made it a brilliant idea. - Lastly it’s a new hotel I guess so…smells good.

No gymnasium at the moment.

I liked the location of this hotel. All the staff are lovely. My room was quite small but had a very comfortable bed, the bedding was very clean and generally there was no disturbance from other rooms. The breakfast service is very good and I had one evening meal in the attached Prime Steak restaurant which was delicious. This is a good tourist hotel. I would stay here again therefore I would certainly recommend.

The experience on arrival was awesome. Very friendly and informative. The room was so immaculate with great views .Air conditioning is how I like it .. cold The location is fantastic, close to everything a traveller would require. From pharmacies to laundry shops to bakeries .The hospital is a few minutes walk as is a large supermarket chain ( Robinsons Cybergate) I used the local taxi service to access all the tourist attractions and that service was easy to access thru a app The on-site restaurant, well what can I say. Amazing staff , amazing food for all meals . Thank you Chrislyn 😊 All the staff are fantastic. Every need was met with a smile and it was appreciated. It's a 4 minute walk to Fuente Osmeña circle with lots to see and do

It’s near to fuente osmena circle and there is a lot of eateries and shoppjng centres around. I was there during Dec and there is a Xmas festivities right at fuente osmena circle where you can explore. A clean and newly renovated hotel where everything is working well and there is proper control of warm water for showering. It’s a very comfortable stay and I can’t praise it enough! I will definitely be booking this place the next time I come to Cebu.

If I can suggest a minor improvement, the shampoo /shower bottles are all affixed on the wall and quite high up. The pump is not working properly so when you exert some force to pump it, it sort of spurts towards your face. You may want to consider changing the pump.
