Our Experience at the Hotel – Warm, Welcoming, and Wonderful! From the moment we booked, communication via email was prompt and helpful, which made us feel confident even before we arrived. Despite our late-night check-in (close to midnight), the staff welcomed us warmly and made the whole process smooth and easy. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-prepared. We ordered room service shortly after checking in — I had the hotel’s recommended burger, and my wife chose a pasta dish. Both meals exceeded our expectations — absolutely delicious! The breakfast was good. On our final evening, we had dinner at the Sky Deck, which was a perfect way to end our stay. The atmosphere was lovely, the food was excellent, and the staff were attentive and friendly. We also used the hotel taxi to get to the Manila airport, which was reasonable and good too. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this hotel to others. Thank you to all the excellent staff for making our stay so enjoyable!

My partner had an accident whilst in Manila and the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful (as indeed they were at all times). Great location for sightseeing and cool rooftop bar/restaurant.

There aren't many places to eat or drink nearby which might be an issue for longer stays. And the rooftop bar is not disabled accessible.

Beautiful hotel. Excellent view of the golf course, historical sights, and city from the room, and restaurants. Restaurant food was expensive, but very delicious and well presented. We ate there 4 different times, mostly because of the views. The room was spacious and modern. A/C was cold, shower hot, bed comfortable. The staff was friendly, helpful, and excellent all around. Stayed there because near to immigration main office for visa interview and was very happy with my choice. Also, hotel is very quiet. I didn't hear any city noise or anything outside of the room. Rooftop Restaurant for sunset dinner was wonderful. Outside the hotel was totally safe for walking around, mostly students' from the nearby college and sight seeers. I would definitely stay there if visiting Intramuros area again. Was totally worth the extra coin.

Can't think of any cons. Might be nice if there was a pool to cool off in after walking around all the histical sights.

This hotel has the most helpful and kind staff of anywhere I’ve travelled (which is saying something, even by Filipino standards!). We felt so well taken are of. Special shout out to Don who helped us book incredible massages and recommended a fantastic restaurant and was generally the best welcome to the Philippines. This was the perfect one night stop in Manila after a long travel night - thank you Bayleaf!

Careful with the shower water, the water can run into the bathroom so throw some extra towels down. Also booking.com does make it look like shuttle transport is included, but it’s extra and a Grab is cheaper to and from airport :)

This hotel was our oasis in hustling bustling Manila. The location is nothing but perfect directly in Intramuros with direct view on the walls and skyscrapers in the background. Most of what's worth seeing in Manila can be reached in walking distance. Rooms are clean, breakfast was ok, sunset at the roof terrace restaurant was spectacular and food was also nice. Would stay there again if back Manila, despite that one thing...

Rooms are so not soundproof! You can hear every single word of your neighbours like you'd be in the same room, them singing Christmas carols, them having sex... 🙃 That definitely needs improvement!

The room was clean and comfortable, with a quiet AC and of a decent size. The breakfast is very good, with a lot of different choices. Both the restaurant at the top floor (mostly open) and at the third floor are very good, with generous portions of good food. We didn't try the third resturant, that is only for lunch. In the basement there is a parking, free for the hotel guests. We didn't have problems with our car, but it was between Christmas and NYE, so most offices and the schools around were closed. The hotel is inside intramuros, with all the historical buildings (and Chinatown) at walking distance.

I recently stayed at The Bayleaf Intramuros, and it was an unforgettable experience. Their buffet breakfast was, without a doubt, the best I’ve ever had in the world! Every dish was perfectly prepared, with an incredible variety to choose from, making each morning a true delight. The staff went above and beyond, delivering exceptional service throughout my stay. From their warm smiles to their attentiveness, they made me feel valued and truly cared for. The Bayleaf Intramuros exceeded all my expectations, and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking for a memorable stay with world-class hospitality.

The breakfast was really exceptional in this price class, also a good coffee and you have a view over Manila while eating. I was in a similar hotel before with much less options. The room was very quiet, I could relax very well. A good customer service there, cleaning staff always had a smile. Staff always was ready to help me with lots of Taxis I used. The location is perfect, you are in Intramuros but at the border and so you can walk easily to the big Shopping Mall, the train station, Mayors house and to two museums nearby.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel! The room was clean, cozy, and perfect for the two of us. The location was excellent — close to key attractions, restaurants, and other essentials, which made getting around very easy. The staff were warm and welcoming throughout our stay. We’d especially like to thank the security guard at the parking lot and the maintenance team who noticed our flat tire and kindly helped us with the fix. Their attentiveness and willingness to assist truly went above and beyond.

Wonderful staff and service. Lovely breakfast and 9Spoons serves delicious meals. Great location and walkable around Intramuros and even to Binondo.

The room is average sized. The first room we were in smelled a bit musty, but they moved us right away. AC's are nice and cold but very noisy. TV volume was so low we had it turned up and because the walls are so thin, a neighbouring room put in a noise complaint so we had to stop watching TV. The rooms are definitely not soundproof.
