The rooms were nice, and the bedding was pretty comfy. The bathroom was loaded with complimentary toiletries, a bathtub, and a large shower. In the closet were bathrobes and slippers. No weird smells to go with that as well. The staff were quick to attend to our luggage and when leaving, helped us into our rides and put the luggage in. The lobby is also beautiful and is a pretty good place to have some of your friends come in. When ordering pastries and other cafe food from the lobby, it comes at a reasonable time. More on the staff, they provide you with coffee and water in the breakfast area (not to mention the fact that it's a buffet-style COMPLIMENTARY breakfast). They're very polite.

My family and I went to one of the lunch places there. The serving of the food took a pretty long time, especially for how we didn't order too much. For example, we ordered two Halo-Halos and it came 1 1/2 hours after we placed the order. The food itself wasn't bad, however the waiting to actually get it lowered our take on it.

The hotel exceeded my expectations, it was fabulous. The Hotel looks amazing and the staff are great from the moment you walk through the doors. Our room was wonderful - very big and comfortable. The bathroom was terrific. The food was just amazing, a choice of everything and so well cooked too. My husband needs to be gluten free and the food choices for him were brilliant, plus they had beer he could drink too. And the gym was also one of the best we have ever encountered.

The only slight issue was that while we were there, the hotel hosted a lot of graduation ceremonies which meant the lobby was out of use for the guests which was annoying but not the end of the world!

We booked for April 10-12 I thought it’s a standard room but the room was pretty big I think we were upgraded. Thanks a lot. The breakfast was superb. Variety of foods choices. The staff are the jewel of why we are giving this hotel a 10. Everyone has a smile in their face. Very courteous I was asking for the price of the baldemors painting. Although the exhibit will be ribbon cut after our stay in the hotel. They made sure our questions were answered before the start of the event. Thank you and kudos to the staff for making us feel like we never left our home .

Great location; incredibly kind & helpful staff; wonderful buffet — so many choices. Oh, and 24-he room service!!! However, the onsite medical clinic was a godsaver. Furthermore, when the hotel couldn’t find an available taxi at night, an ass’t mgr drove me around for well over 30 minutes to find an open 24-hr pharmacy! Who does that these days! P.S. Political candidates held a press conference here and a Korean delegation was here for the summit with the President.

Nothing. (Oh, I heard some other guest say there was no hair dryer in their room — but they could just call up for one!)

it’s very clean. the staff were excellent-very hospitable and attentive. I was pleased there are steam iron and ironing board inside our room and I was able to iron my blouse. It’s different from other hotels. Although it’s an old building it keeps up with the time. There is a bit of nostalgia - the telephone operator. The place is just awesomely beautiful. The staff were immaculately dressed and polite. There is attention to details I may say. That is why Manila Hotel is still here today whilst the others closed.

There is nothing I don’t like in this hotel. Good security check and I feel safe.

The lady at the front desk wearing a black suit who checked us in was not hospitable. Maybe because we got the discounted room and we didn’t look presentable, just like any other guests at that time. If that is not the reason, then personal issues should be set aside next time and prove that you have 5-star service no matter what.

This is a famous, historic world class hotel. It is very well staffed with staff who are very welcoming. There is a very nice area with lots of tables and comfortable chairs for relaxation adjacent to the reception area, where casual food and drink is served with live music also provided. There is also a fine food restaurant and Chinese restaurant in the hotel as well as an amazing self service buffet offering.

The buffet food was very varied but a little overpriced for dinner

I like how there was a complimentary mini bar since the first day I had booked directly with the hotel but when booking through booking.com it was not included. The pool was open until 10pm. There is a variety of food choices for room service.

Our room was facing the road so it was noisy since trucks cross especially at night. When wearing shorts a slippers as an in house guest I always felt judged when going down to the lobby with the feeling that I dont belong, since in the lobby there are lots of people who are there to attend events. Would always be asked by the staff what room I am from.
