Close to US embassy. Just walk to roxas blvd and use over pass. Puts you right in the queue for appointments. About 5 min walk. The room is not that big but super clean. the bed is a king size. No coffee or creamer but there are plenty of 7-11 nearby as well as a Starbucks. For me and my fiancé, this place was meant to get her close enough to embassy to avoid traffic getting a grab ride so early in the morning. Not really a vacation spot. We walked to Robinson mall about 10 min walk nice choices for dinner. Overall very pleased with the staff, cleanliness, and location.

No coffee, slippers, or microwave in the room. But again, this isn’t a vacation hotel. Meant mostly to provide a nice room for embassy appointments.

The hotel is very centrally located. From here you can reach many sights on foot. The large Robinson Mall is within walking distance and you can find everything you need there. The room is big enough and you can easily stay here for a few days. If you want the room cleaned, just let us know in advance. The WiFi worked quickly and without interruptions during my stay. The hotel doesn't have its own laundry but it's right on the doorstep, so to speak. If you need something to wash, the staff will take care of everything if you have any questions or concerns.

- room a little small with our bags to be at easy to unpack - taking a night bus (10pm) after our stay, a bit disappointed that there was no opportunity for us to leave our bags after 6pm (originally 4pm but thankfully the staff is kind) & furthermore to take a quick shower and to change in clean coney clothes for the night. Our plan b were the toilets in the Robinson mall 😅

The whole stay is wonderful. It's actually comfortable. It's just a hassle if your going to stay with other families or in groups. We werent able to access other rooms easily because our rooms are in different floors. Should have been nice if they pushed that our rooms are close to each other (I booked 4 rooms). Will consider the hotel for our next bookings, but I hope they'll be able to grant our request next time if we're to travel in groups again. Overall, the rooms are clean and comfortable for an affordable price. Thank you!

Better if they will try to give rooms on the same floor, especially for big groups.

Very convenient area for US Embassy visits, but one must walk a few minutes through area with many panhandlers to cross the blvd. via the overpass. Occasionally, daytime, for 50 pesos, one can get a small trike ride to cross the street and go to the embassy.

On Roxas Blvd. one evening, some street boys were very aggressive, made body contact and attempted to pickpocket from my fanny-pack. Had to physically push them away. Be careful, Roxas Blvd. in that area is not safe.

Rooms are small and very clean, but mine (1810) had the smell of cigarette smoke in the bathroom. Restaurants, bars, gyms, and the Robinson Mall (very huge) are all within a very short walking district. There is also a restaurant located a few steps outside to the right of the hotel. 24 hour stores, restaurants, and bars are also very close by, and the US Embassy is 2 - 3 blocks away. Rooms 09 - 10 on the upper floors have a great view of the bay. Beds are big and super comfortable. WIFI was excellent and the staff was super. Check in was very quick and efficient.

Check out was slow, but they said they were checking to see if I left anything.

We stayed there for 3 nights in room 1805. The staff is professional. The housekeeping is by request (cleaning, toilet paper). The wait time for an elevator can be long during rush hours, but the music in the hallways makes the wait pleasant. Very good wifi connection. We could see Manila Bay from our room. We appreciated the comfort of the bedding and the practicality of the room. Storage for the suitcase is provided under the bed. Very hot shower, and top-notch ventilation & airco system. Small handy fridge, there is a 7-Eleven 1 minute walk away. A water dispenser at reception, a kettle in the room. The surroundings are very poor, and do not make you want to stay there long. Deliveries via Grab do not operate in this area, but we discovered several fast food restaurants within 1 minute's walk, the "Robinsons Manila" shopping center is 7 minutes' walk away, as well as Rizal Park & "Manila Bay Dolomite Beach" is just in front. There is "Manilenos Sizzling House" restaurant on the first floor for Filipino cuisine.

The soundproofing is poor. We could hear the couple's conversations from the next room as well as the traffic even though we were on the 18/19th floor. And the TV was out of service on the rainy day. The towels smell of chlorine and the sheets smell of mothballs which are not to our taste.

The location is primarily the selling point of this branch of Red Planet. My mother and I stayed at their hotel for an interview with the US Embassy. It was right across from the hotel, so it was convenient to stay there. Although the roads outside the hotel were narrow, and one can say that it looked like an alleyway rather than a road, we were already next to Roxas Boulevard and some major landmarks and streets (like Taft, for example), which means it was easy access to transportation. Our room had a view of Manila Bay, so that was a nice touch from the hotel to assign us to that room. The beds were comfy, and the comforter was warm. Our request for an iron and its ironing board was also granted right away, so I liked that about them.

This is a budget hotel for those getting their VISA's for US embassy. There is a cafe which serves filipino breakfast, lunch and dinner. Which is not bad not gourmet either. The room is just as expected clean. I didn't see any stains on the bed sheets . My mom and. I were able to sleep soundly. Airconditioning was cold enough for the two of us. The bathroom no amenities included just hand soap so bring your own. but in conclusion this hotel serves its purpose.

If you could re paint the bathroom and the room make it brighter. Replace the old appliance like the kettle .

The Red Planet in Manila Bay is a more upscale Red Planet hotel. I liked the added desk, chair, layout and the room seemed more spacious. The location is great because you are right in the heart of the beehive with plenty of sites to see, great transportation, malls, and the US Embassy across the street.

Red Planet hotels are the econo hotels, so you aren't going to get all the amenities of more upscale hotels. You won't find a gym, large room, closet space for luggage and clothes, or more than two soft pillows on your bed. You get more than what you can expect for the price, especially in Manila Bay.
