- LOCATION was excellent. The hotel was so close to the shopping centres (SM and Robinsons) as wells as restaurants. - The housekeeping and restaurant services was close to excellent. The restaurant Manager (Ms Lynne Billedo) was truly a very accommodating host in the restaurant and caters to our needs.

- The parking space although the front door staff tried their best to accomodate the cars (2 vehicles) - Printing services fee; after staying in the hotel for 5 days, the front desk still charge me with the printing of our e-travel documents (3 pages)

I was here a week previously but on 3rd floor and this time on 5th floor. Last week I rated hotel a 7 because it needed renovation: but 5th floor is already renovated very well! New flooring, bathroom, bedroom (although smaller than on 3rd). So everything works very well and location is excellent both for walking to Intramuros and for local bars and food. Staff were always very good.

This is a 3 Star hotel so don’t expect 5 Star luxury. The rooms are very clean and have pretty much everything you need. The staff a very professional and friendly. Very good value for money. My only complaint is that the rooms are not very quiet. It was nice and quiet at night but I was woken up every morning by the sound of building work, so don’t expect to sleep late.

The best part of staying at Manila Lotus Hotel is the buffet breakfast. Every morning there are a variety of Filipino breakfast items and more tourist options such as pancakes. They offered cooked to order eggs/ omelettes, fresh fruits, salad, rice and garlic rice, and a variety of sausages, potatoes, and fish. It's a great way to start the day before heading out into the busy city. Also, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Taxi's are always available if you let the doorman know. They have safes at the front desk for the guests, not in your room. The location is walking distance to Rizal Park, Museums, Intramuros, and Univ. of Philippines. There's lots of interesting streets to explore in Ermita.

If you don't want to look out your window to a brick wall or dirty service area, be sure to book a room with a view. I thought I had booked a view (I know that is important to me) but when I arrived I was given an interior room whose window looked out onto a dirty space between the buildings. I asked to change rooms but no room was ever available to change to. Without any sky I found this made the room seem oppressive. The overall condition of the room was clean, but in need of updating. I didn't have much time to be in the room so I was able to accept it. If the only rooms with windows and sky are those facing Mabini Street, it might be very noisy with the crazy street traffic and nightlife around Ermita.

I like most is the buffet breakfast, so many options to fill the plate. The location it very good. Very near the big mall Robinsons Malate, near some landmarks like Rizal Park, and US Embassy. The staff and the security personeel are very helpful and kind. There are also bars nearby for those who like nightlife.

The room is small, and outdated. I don’t mind it, but if they will consider to upgrade them, I will give 10 stars. The reception asked me to have 1,000 pesos deposit even I paid my stay via my credit card when I reserved online. It’s refundable, I refunded when I checked out. I still don’t know what is that for. In all, I love to stay here again.

We chose Lotus due to its proximity to the mall, restaurants & etc. Food ( breakfast) was also good, not exceptional but but it’s ok. The staffs were also great, courteous and attentive.

The TV - it should be more updated. The room itself - should be thoroughly cleaned, dust everything from top to bottom paying attention to areas like under the bed, mopping & sweeping the floors should do it.

Staff - they were all amazing! All were very friendly, accommodating, nice, helpful, pleasant to interact with, and just overall lovely. Service - checking in & out was quick, no hassle. requesting toiletries from housekeeping was also quick. Location - very near to SLMEC & US Embassy (if thats your purpose) probably a 2min walk to SLMEC. Also near Robinsons Place Manila, Jollibee, Mcdo, BDO, 7/11 and a lot more so getting by is not difficult at all.

The hotel itself is outdated, especially my room but still a pleasurable & clean place to stay in. The aircon was kinda loud, kinda felt like it was raining but it was just noise coming from the aircon. Something the hotel does not have a control in - but as its location is near by the road (or maybe its because my room was facing the road), loud motorcycles & vehicles can be a problem especially at night.

There is no breakfast included. It is fairly quiet. The owner is very accommodating and responsive to requests. Everything in the room worked well, and for the money was a good deal.

Better bedding in regards to blankets and/or bedspread. Sheets were clean, but the thin bedspread was not to my liking. Air conditioner was adequate, but not the best. There is only a simple 7/11 next door, so getting any groceries or food is a trip to the area mall. Getting transportation isn’t always easy, but not extremely difficult either.

Felt like the pictures were a bit more generous than real life.

And so the room sleep 4 people and so I feel that we should get 4 breakfast. And because there wasn't a button online to add one breakfast, then the bill should be on the hotel. Other then the breakfast issue, great stay. And I mentioned it, but Philippino don't care or can't deleter from there tasks.
