The AC is cold. There is also a small refrigerator inside the room plus an electric kettle. There were also tea cups, glasses and instant coffees. Bath robe, towels and toiletries were also provided.

No foot rug/floor mat nor slippers in the room. There was also no hair blower/dryer. The room was provided with glassware but there was no drinking water in the water bottle (we didn't ask for one anyway as we already brought drinking water before checking in). You would have to look for a decent parking spot near the hotel since they don't have any (we found one with overnight parking near La Cathedral Cafe).

The location is superb, like literally 20 meters away from the famous San Augustine Church. It’s right in the middle of Intramuros. The staff are all very welcoming and eager to help. Even though there are something not prepared in the room. When you ask them they will take care of it and send it to your doorstep. Wifi is quick, air con works fine.

Those 1-star reviews are just ridiculous, maybe done by their rivals? Does this age-old pandemic-surviving hotel need some improvement in their worn-out facilities? Yes definitely. But does it deserve just 1 star? Definitely not. But the room and bathroom definitely need some refurbishment.

Fabulous location within the Casa Manila complex. All of Intramuros attractions within walking distance. Most streets are pedestrianized and safe day or night. If they ever finish the needed restoration, I couldn't afford to stay here

I liked that it was close to San Agustin Church and it was inside Intramuros. I also likes that I could go back late at night. I liked that the staff was helpful and I was able to leave my bag after I checked out.

I didn't like the aircon, at first I had to call someone from the front desk to help me to turn it on. The temperature was not showing so it was hot. It became so hot at one point but there was no phone in the room for me to be able to call for help. The TV was askew on its stand.

Great location, in the center of the old part of Intramuros, perfect for an Easter visit. Room was large and comfortable, although the bed was rather hard. TV reception was limited, but not a problem. Bathroom was basic, but everything worked and the shower was good.

Nothing really. For a brief staff in a good location. There is no parking, but not a problem if one arrives by Grab, as I did. There seem to be pay parking places nearby, but they may not be available on a overnight basis.

Location

The stay itself as there is no elevator we took the stairs all the time. The key card is not working hence we used the key. Aircon is a bit jammed so we call the inhouse service and the phone line is not working.

The property is a Spanish Colonial style mansion in Intramuros with a large courtyard at the back of the hotel. It would have been nice to have more modern facilities but they cannot alter the building much as it is on a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which means there are restrictions on what you can do to the building.

We have stayed at this hotel multiple time and it didn't disappoint us.. The staff were nice and really helpful..

Late at night, someone's knocking and trying to open the door.. it gves me chills.. hope it will not happen again

The location was great, within walking distance of the church, museums, and restaurants. It exuded Old-World charm. Strong free wifi. Staff was very helpful. Price was reasonable.

Our room was rather bare; no TV remote.

the location is unique, close to everything there is to see in Intramuros. Its vintage flavor is also unique, not to be missed.

It’s a bit old, but that’s part of the game. They ask you for a 2000 php as deposit on top of the price of the room and they want to be paid by cash.
