Staff were welcoming and polite. The room comfortably and clean.

Cold shower on the second night. The pool deck floor was filthy like it hadn’t been cleaned for at least a month.

The hotel is beautiful and at a great location, walking distance to Intramuros. The bed was huge and great, the room was big and beautiful. Staff was helpful.

The food was not good at all. No fruits or juices for breakfast. Had a schnitzel burger on the night we arrived that was very oily and heavy. Not good at all . Zhu,,m want pp

We had an excellent experience during our stay at the hotel. The staff made our celebration extra special with a thoughtful welcome card for our wedding anniversary and my husband’s birthday, which we truly appreciated. We enjoyed a lovely pictorial in the hotel’s elegant common areas and also took a pleasant walk to Rizal Park, perfect for creating memories. The ambiance throughout the hotel was warm and inviting. The staff were consistently helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The food at the restaurant was delicious and beautifully presented, and the team was very attentive. Overall, a memorable and highly recommended stay.

Old architecture and pleasant staff.

The towels smell musty. In room dining service is spotty. Food advertised on room menu are not all available including juices. Buffet is very expensive as well as the Chinese restaurant.

This hotel has a unique atmosphere/feel and an excellent service by all staff who are not just giving great service but also add to your travel experience with friendly talks. We felt like a king and queen staying here. The location of the hotel was PERFECT for our last nights in Philippines, near to Rizal Park, Intramuros and Luneta Park. The room was very clean, the beds very comfortable and the breakfast amazing with many choices. We will be book here again next year for sure! One of the best hotel experiences we've ever had in PH, equaling our unforgettable stay at Hotel Luna in Vigan last year.

Had booked at a discounted rate of around 70 US dollars but was charged 100 US dollars plus per night

No complaints about the hotel at all. Just about booking.com. I learned later on if i booked directly with the hotel, it would have been much cheaper than booking with booking.com. I think there was some dishonesty on booking.com's part with the breakfast worked in the price for just an extra 200-300 pesos. It was 2000 more pesos than expected the 1st night because it appears the 1000 peso breakfast each was worked in the price

Amazing old historic hotel .. great staff and very friendly.. spacious rooms .. location was good .. ...they are restoring the hotel at the moment .. great roof top pool .. and many restaurants

I love old buildings ..this one sadly needs a bit of work .. the building has many roof leaks and dated interior .. but it's reflected in the price .. it's under slow renovations at the moment

Checked in here to attend midnight mass for Feast of Nazarene and it is the perfect location. Walking distance to Quirino Grandstand. Plenty of food options outside the hotel. Room is clean and spacious. Even the bathroom is spacious, our room has two sinks and it helped us save time to prepare when going out. Shower's water pressure is also good, drain doesnt clog, and easy to change the water's temperature. Breakfast was good although there's only few options.

Safe and ref are not working. Only two water bottles were provided and they dont provide for more although you can request for a pitcher of water. I made such request but water never came. Shampoo, conditioner etc only for 1 person, even laundry bag is for one only. I would understand it if they provided for one only but there were slippers, toothbrushes for two

The historical ambience and peaceful location

If one checks in late at night without having local currency, one may have problem getting breakfast. It turns out the restaurant is not owned by the hotel so one cannot charge it to one’s room. And they only accept cash saying the credit card machine was not available till after 8am.
