Nice hotel. Helpful staff. Good breakfast. Very convenient for the city centre, with train and tram transport, and many shops, available very close by.

Wifi was slow most of the time. Breakfast cleanup was too efficient - I lost multiple cups of coffee and sets of cutlery while I was getting something else, one time I even lost the table. The room rate and other costs were somewhat expensive for the area. I hope that one day it will be possible to go from the airport to this hotel by train or tram.

Absolutely EVERYTHING ! I will look for a Hotel Mercure from now on whenever we travel; it was that outstanding. We ate as many meals as we could at the hotel which is unusual since we normally like to try out various places. The breakfast buffet was incredible. I don't know if it was the food or the ambience of the restaurant, but we made a point of getting breakfast every day and ate dinner there I believe ALL but one night out of a week long stay in Katowice. The location was ideal… Close to the mall, close to the train station, close to the Square. we were there for a Hyrox event and while it wasn't a designated hotel, it should've been. The beds were comfortable, the staff was friendly. In particular, I would like to shout out to Maria who made sure I had hot oatmeal each day. Something like that is very vital when you are competing overseas.

-Room: The standard double room was a nice spacious room with wardrobe hangers and shoe space etc. It also came with an empty mini fridge to store your beverages which we availed of. You can change the temperature in the room with the thermostat. The bathroom was very nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. -The bar was excellent. We had some cocktails in the lobby and really enjoyed ourselves. The breakfast buffet was very good. -Location: Perfect! Right across from a big shopping centre and bus station. Very close walk to the tram and town square close to cafes, restaurants, bars, and nightclubs. It was very quick and easy to get taxis from this location also.

We couldn't get the tv mirroring to work. We couldn't plug in our HDMI to use our amazon stick for movies as the tv was hung on the wall and couldn't access the back. They did have a selections of channels.

The bed was comfy, the room was very cleaned, on the TV you could find info about the hotel and the services they provide, which was very useful to me. The hotel was close to the bus station that has the AP route to and from the airport, close to the Train Station if you want to take a train and visit other cities, like Krakow.

The WI-FI was kinda slow, as in watching a YT video in your room could be a challenge as the video freezes and then you need to wait a couple of seconds for it to reload. I wish that the TV had some sort of video streaming services (like Netflix, Disney Plus, MAX) to connect if you already have an account.

My mom and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. We were both very impressed with the reception staff and the cleanliness of the room. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly polite and greeted us warmly every morning, which made our experience even more pleasant. The standard of the room was exceptional, far exceeding our needs and expectations. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the soundproof windows ensured a quiet and restful stay. The view from our room was lovely, and the peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax. The location was also very convenient, making it easy to explore the area. We would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again in the future!

It's not the first time I've stayed at this hotel. I was very happy with the standard they provide, the outstanding service from the receptionists, and the exceptional cleanliness. The windows are soundproof, ensuring a peaceful stay, and the location is perfect—close to the city centre and a shopping centre. I also choose to stay here whenever I visit Krakow because the train station is very nearby. The level of comfort and convenience this hotel provides is unmatched by any other I've stayed at in the past.

There was nothing to dislike.

Location: The hotel is in a prime spot, making it super convenient to get to major attractions and public transport. Soundproofing: I was really impressed with the soundproofing. Despite being in a bustling area, my room was perfectly quiet, allowing for restful nights. Comfortable Bed: The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had some of the best sleep I’ve had in a while. New Modern Design: The hotel features a fresh, modern design that really adds to the overall experience. Everything felt new and stylish. Plushy Floors: I loved the plushy floors – they added a touch of luxury and comfort underfoot. Air Conditioning: The air conditioning kept the room at an ideal temperature, though it did make a little bit of noise. It wasn’t too bothersome, but worth mentioning. Nice Windows: The windows were fantastic, letting in plenty of natural light and offering great views of the bustling central train station.

- Low Shower Pressure: The shower pressure was quite low, which made it difficult to enjoy a proper shower. - Water Leakage: Despite keeping the glass shower door closed, water always leaked onto the bathroom floor, creating a bit of a mess.

Very convenient location right next to the train station. Great amenities - was glad to have a fridge in the room (I've noticed this is somewhat rarer in Europe) The restaurant on the main floor was also really good and had some nice regional specialties! Overall ambience was modern and clean. Would definitely stay again!

The laundry service is very expensive. Cost me 700 PLN to do a single load. Probably would just find a laundromat next time. The shower door doesn't form a good seal with the frame so the foot towel gets pretty soaked when showering.

Perfect location next to railway station for our onward journey the following day and for walking about Katowice. Room was spacious, comfortable and warm. We had a late lunch/early dinner in the in-house restaurant and can honestly say it was the best meal we've had in all of our recent travels, from the presentation to the quality of the food. Our server was Kasia who was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable about the local Silesian dishes we chose. All the staff we met were helpful and welcoming

Relatively new hotel in downtown Katowice. Modern and pleasant-looking furniture in the room and ensuite bathroom. Very clean, comfy beds, air conditioning, and television with several channels in English and other languages. Good value for the price.

The room and bathroom were not very large, albeit of decent size given the price. The hotel bar downstairs did not seem to be open at any time. Soundproofing of the room window was not perfect: some noise from the outside could be heard but nothing too bad.
