The hotel is small and friendly. We had no issues with noise that other reviews have mentioned. The receptionist when we arrived late at night couldn’t have been more smiley and helpful. The rooms are modern, have air conditioning and spotlessly clean. The beds are very comfortable. The shower is powerful; there are toiletries provided and towels are lovely. There’s a small fridge, a kettle with tea bags and fresh bottled water replenished daily. The breakfast is available from 7 until 10.30. There is plenty of choice of good quality hot and cold options. It’s well presented, nothing ran out. Even in busy times, it was get around without bumping into other guests or waiting for ages.

The tv in the room had anEnglish speaking news channel. There is no option for you to link up Netflix or similar which would have been nice as after a long day sightseeing.

Great rooms of a reasonable size with tea making facilities. The shower is really powerful and the best I have had in any hotel. We decided to have breakfast and so pleased we did as they are fabulous value for money and the staff in the dinning area were wonderful and very accommodating, providing us with nut and oatmilk when asked.

The hotel is a good 15 minute walk to the square and although I liked the walk, some of our group who are less mobile found it difficult. The hotel is on a busy road and some of the group found the noise of the trams very loud, which disturbed their sleep. Although there was a kettle and tea bags in the room, no coffee or milk is provided; n ot a huge problem as we purchased them from the shop close by.

The location is very close to the old town and all tour trip pick-ups, the staff is very helpful and friendly, and the property is very clean. Our late cab ride to the airport, which can be rather stressful and concerning in a new place, was expertly arranged by the hotel personnel. We enjoyed peace while on our excursion, which was planned for us. Without a doubt, we will return to Krakow and the Hotel Lavender, and we will tell all of our friends and relatives about it.

Absolutely no complaints about the property, we were made to feel extremely comfortable and like we were at home. The staff and facilities were brilliant.

Great location, only a leisurely 10 - 15 minute walk to the main square. Nicely decorated rooms with good facilities for a short stay. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choices available and all topped up regularly. Secure private parking nearby for about £10 a day. Overall a lovely stay and would happily stay again!

If you’re facing the road the trams can be a little noisy, but didn’t find it too much of a problem. Pillows were too soft for me but that could be personal choice. Nothing that would prevent me staying again or recommending this hotel though! :-)

Spacious room, all the necessary amenities for short stay, ideal location considering the proximity to the Train Station and the Old Town, very friendly staff, functional AC, convenient 24h front desk, considerate water refills for hot summer days.

No instant coffee provided, the internet worked quite poorly, some noise from the traffic outside but the hotel graciously provides ear plugs, could hardly find English TV. Overall these were minor inconveniences to our stay.

Location is great - I'm very glad I went with a hotel just outside of Old Town, but near enough to walk in each day. The laundromat across the road is very helpful as there are no laundry facilities at the hotel. There are several excellent cafes/other restaurants on the street before getting to Old Town, too. The bed was comfortable, the facilities were excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It is a very efficiently run hotel in an ideal location. Anything you need is either provided or nearby.

The WiFi could be a bit spotty at times. Also, the room I was in was at the front of the hotel - the street is reasonably busy and the noise from the street (trams, people, horse-drawn carriages etc) does make it up to the room. Didn't really bother me but worth mentioning for light sleepers.

The location was great 10/15 minutes from the square, therefore, everything was within walking distance. The room was excellent for what we needed and the Aircon was incredible after days of walking around in the heat. The beds were comfortable yet small. Rooms were made up daily with fresh towels.

There was a funny smell as you walked in to the lobby and up the lift, luckily it did not enter the room. The beds were small and comfortable yet the sheets did not fit and I found myself without any by the morning. Leaving water was a great feature in the room but two fizzy waters when neither guest liked sparkling, everyone will drink still water, not everyone will drink sparking.

Everything! From first setting foot in it we were impressed with the decor. Our twin room was spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, very roomy, fridge and a fantastic shower. Lift or stairs access. Staff were so helpful and pleasant and nothing was too much trouble, even delivering me milk at bedtime as there were no sachets. Check in/out experience was smooth. Apart from a great choice for breakfast we were too busy doing tours to eat at dinner time in the hotel. I would definitely stay there again. 10/10.

The breakfast is delicious and well worth the price, especially if you full up and don't need to go searching for lunch. The location is fabulous, just a short walk from the train station and the main drag. This is a lovely boutique hotel with excellent staff, perfect facilities for our needs (mini fridge, AC, nice shower/bathroom, smoking area if you're into that, lounge and bar in the hotel, and safe in the room). The hotel and rooms are spotless clean!

The beds were not particularly comfortable (we had a room with two twins so perhaps is dependent on the room), and the pillow (one per person/bed) was flat and firm. That said, the beds weren't a deal breaker - this is a fantastic place to stay!

The location from the Old Town, and the main railway was excellent. Only a 10 min walk away. Our room was spacious, clean and well appointed. The breakfast was more than adequate with a good variety. A take away breakfast was available if you had an early start for trips etc., which was ideal.

The mattress protector was not secure and the base sheet was not big enough, so both kept riding up, making it a bit uncomfortable. This is me being fussy, but it would be worth adjusting.
