I enjoyed every moment in this place amazing room with the view and the beautiful pooland very kind and helpful employees i wish i can stay more than 1 day

Nothing loved everything

We had a "family room" on the upper floor with a view of the beautiful pool. It was actually more like a small apartment with a sitting area, bedroom and a large bathroom area with a walk-in shower that had a floor to ceiling window in it! (It was not possible to see in from the outside.....at least during the day) The breakfast was delicious! It was a beautiful, quiet, relaxing place to stay near Coimbra ........away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Best of all, when we accidentally left several items in the room when we checked out, our host contacted us and then mailed the items overnight to our next hotel. Wonderful people, great service. Thank you!

We stayed at The Wonderful Granja da Cabrita. We arrived as a family of 5 - a couple of parents and three children in their 20s. The The place is beautifully decorated, modern and accessible, spacious and embracing. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are large and very clean. There are many pampering areas to sit outside, a large pool and nature envelops everything around. Check-in was cordial and very comfortable and simple. The staff who looked after us were lovely. Anna, who greeted us with a wide smile, (arrived on the day of the big power outage and the place didn't let us feel it), and Philomena who took care of us for the delicious breakfasts. The place is outside the city,(we arrived by rented car, but of course s you can get to Coimbra in Bolt) and e allows Quiet and tranquility from which we went on a fascinating visit to the university and a fine Fado show. We recommend this wonderful place from the bottom of our hearts

Beautiful room and bathroom just like the photos. If you stay longer, the pool was so tempting, and we had a nice view from our windows. We were able to use the kitchen to prep a little dinner. Staff was very friendly in the morning

The host sends you a very good video on how to unlock the gate, obtain your own set of house and room keys, and proceed to the house up the drive(this place is very secure). Only problem, my problem and the couple behind us, Google Maps sends you to the back gate, so of course the lock and combination don't work. After a bit of fumbling, I looked at the map and discovered the problem. Really everything is great, and I'm so glad we stayed here after touring Conimbriga. You'll need to drive into town for dinner, but we planned ahead and brought a little dinner to cook.

A beautiful house and surroundings. Our host was a sweet woman who was happy to serve us and really seemed to care about her guests. It was a really lovely experience being here.

Hmmm... it's difficult to say anything negative but there's a little bit of confusion in finding your way into the house. We weren't sure if we were interrupting a party when we arrived, only to realise that it was just guests like us and this is more of a shared home than a hotel but there was nothing to worry about at all.

The room was modern, spacious, and immaculate. The bathroom was also large and well appointed. The view overlooking the swimming pool was pleasant. The breakfast was ample and everything was prepared to order by a friendly staff. The little goats provided additional delight. It was an easy ride on public transportation to sightseeing. Staff provided recommendations for dining and other venues.

The arrival process could have been conducted more smoothly by the off-site property manager, but once we managed to gain access all went better.

The breakfast was fabulous. It was easy to find the location and the owner prepared a video that facilitated an easy check-in and entrance to the property. The property was gated and very safe. It was an outstanding experience, except for the uncomfortable smell.

The room had a strong smell. The smell was very strong on the side of the bed that was near the patio doors, as well as in the bathroom. My wife noticed the smell immediately when she entered the room. It was an uncomfortable smell that smelled like chemicals or moth balls.

Tranquil spot but only a few minutes drive to Coimbra. Beautiful building and lovely room, very modern and well appointed with a view of the pool and far reaching views of the countryside. We could not have been looked after any better, the service for breakfast was warm and attentive and the selection of food was great, including eggs from their own hens. Lovely to have use of the kitchen including our own shelf in the fridge if we wanted it, as well as an honesty bar. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this gem of a place!

Absolutely nothing to dislike.

Great place with wonderful staff. The kitchen was an added bonus and having space in the fridge to use after a visit to the supermarket was fantastic. We made use of the BBQ on a couple of occasions too., Beautiful pool area, lovely breakfast, clean room with a terrace overlooking the pool area which had stunning views. Quiet, peaceful location only a 6min drive from Coimbra itself. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone was so welcoming.

Nothing to dislike

Amazing place. We had a wonderful suite with a balcony overlooking the pool and surrounding countryside. Huge bathroom. All very clean and comfortable. Great breakfasts with freshly made omelette. It is only 2 minutes walk to a bus stop where the bus takes you straight into town. It felt lovely coming back here after a busy full day in Coimbra.
