This hotel does everything it needs too. It accepts dogs €15.. It has private parking, tight though! €10 for 24hrs and €1 per hour after. Although we were a little late in leaving but weren't charged extra. It's opposite a great park, for the dog. The carpark is accessed immediately from reception by lift and could not be more convenient. And it's a very short walk to the start of the old town. Good bathroom, big shower. 3 minutes from a great restaurant filled with locals.

Room was a bit small and if you are on the front there is road noise.

The hotel location is great. It’s right on the river, about 200m from Largo da Portagem, Coimbra’s main downtown square. The continental breakfast was really good, - plenty to choose from, including fresh fruit salad, and even scrambled eggs. It was one of the best we’ve had in Portugal. We booked the hotel because of its location and the fact it has onsite basement parking.

The hotel has a centralised air conditioning temperature, so the thermostat in the room does not have any effect. If you don’t like the temperature of the room, you have few options. However, we were able to open the window a bit, which allowed us a slightly cooler room.

The staff is really helpful when you need something. However, we were put in a room where what we could see were probably the machines of the airconditioned outside...it was very noisy. Also, for me, the main problem is that there was not hot water in the bedroom to make a drink...I found strange as it is nice to be able to have a warm drink in the bedroom. I even have my own drink, but, there was nowhere to heat water. The rest was all right. The breakfast was very good and the staff very attentive. Thank you!

Good breakfast, very nice staff – the reception/bar team always available and willing to help or advice. The room was small, but nice, comfortable bed.

The iron – it was working well and the room was always available, even late in the evening. However, the iron itself was very light. It is easier to iron a shirt if the iron is a bit heavier. I had to iron a shirt every day for a week, so it was the weak point, but still, by it’s really nothing.

Location was great, very near attractions. My Hotel room was with beautiful river & park view, it was amazing. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was good, with enough hot water for showers. Mini market Minipreco 10 minutes walking, Continente supermarket 15 minutes, Rede expresso bus station 25 minutes on foot. I did not try the breakfast, so no comments.

No refrigerator in room. No electrical sockets near beds. There was only two sockets under the desk in front of the window. In one of the morning, the cleaning staff didn't knock the door before opening, immediately opened my room door. Hotel should remind their staffs about this. The first time I experienced in Hotel.

Convenient to city. Room size okay but not large.

There are major roadworks happening in front of the hotel. We followed the gps which would have taken us to the hotel except for the road was blocked off. We did three long rounds of the city trying to get to the hotel, very frustrated!! Eventually drove onto the road that fronted the hotel and pulled back temporary fencing blocking the road so that we could drive the 100metres to the hotel. These roadworks should have been advised to us by the hotel and a route given to us to get to the hotel via the back streets!!

I love the location, walkable distance from our interest points. Breakfast and staff were great. Room was spacious and comfortable. We would stay over again when visiting the area.

This is not a dealbreaker for me, I would still stay over again but the shower in our room had no door, it is half of a wall. This means that the floor will get wet while taking a shower and the little towel for the floor is not enough to contain it.

We arrived near the noon, and want to drop our bags before sight-seeing. It's so nice for the Hotel to offer early check-in. The Staff is also nice and help, she shared useful info for the nearby laundary services The location of Hotel is good, it locates near the centre of city Room is okay for this price, we won't have complain. There is also car park in the hotel which is very important for traveller with many luggages.

Not really. The only improvement is the entry of the Car park is narrow, you need to have a good skills if you want to park in.

It's second time I stay here. Location is very good with park nearby and wonderful view on it from the window. Staff is nice and helpful. Room was clean. Parking in the hotel is available. Breakfast standard, but it is enough and I was able to find all for my taste.

Vegetables and cups for abatanada would be nice to have at breakfast. Some hot food for breakfast (like omlet or something like that) would be good as well. Hotel need some renovations already, but it's not critical at all, as it's comfortable and good for short stay.

Staff were excellent, extremely helpful, professional and friendly. Room was very smart, brand new condition, bathroom was extremely clean too.

Only a very small space for hanging clothes and one small shelf for clothes. I was there for a few days on my own so had no trouble with space allocated but would struggle as a couple for storage in my room anyway "double room' No kettle in room.
